I asked an employee if there was an end-cap of 9mm ammunition and he told me that there wasn't. I commented that their shelves had that empty Covid look, and he told me that they hadn't restocked the shelves yet. I wiped the dusty metal shelf, showed him the significant dust my hand picked up, and looked him in the eye. He knew he'd been caught lying, but insisted that morning deliveries hadn't been put out.yet. I commented that he should wear a mask if there was that much dust in their ventilation. Going to the gun counter, there was one employee behind the counter and more than a dozen people waiting to be helped. There is premium ammunition behind the counter, but it's far enough away that you can't read the brand name. Judging by the number of people waiting to be helped, I'm not standing idly for an hour or two to ask what ammunition brands they have. Nowhere else in the store is there 14-15 people waiting to be helped -- and there's inky two sales clerks working the firearms counter. You'd think that store management would add people in firearm sales, as I've had precisely the same experience of actually waiting more than an hour to find out if they carry a certain product needed the next day at a training event. I have no idea what this store is doing. Neither do they.

Cleat Sports has always been our go to place. We always try to support smaller local businesses and this place is exactly that. Excellent customer service every time (there has been many). They also support local sports teams and that is important to us. The prices are always great. The sale racks are always loaded with great deals and often times we've found items that are very comparable if not cheaper then the larger competitors. The atmosphere is very relaxed and I've never been in without a kind greeting and knowledgeable employee helping us. There is even a guy they work with to restring gloves. It does take a little bit of time but it's worth the time at a great price. The new location is great. Much more space. If I had more money I would spend much of it at Cleat Sports. Their selection of singles is incredibly mid and overpriced. DO NOT GO HERE TO SELL YOUR CARDS. A few months back I went in with a 2025 Topps Jacob Wilson Gold Holo Foil /50 PSA 9. The head guy in there refused to directly comp my card, he was looking at other variations of Wilson rookie cards and determined my card was worth "maybe $10, but I'd give you $25 to get your money back because you graded it." There was a direct comp in June of '25 of $175. Other card shops I had been to had given me an estimated value of $200. This guy flat out tried to rip me off, wasn't nice about it, didn't even care that he wasn't looking at the right comps. He literally said to me, "we only buy off people that need the cash and that's usually between 40-60% of comps, if you don't want to sell that's fine but the next 5 guys will." HORRIBLE experience. The worst place I've ever been and could not express enough how poorly it's ran. If I could give negative stars, I would.

Everything was ready the next evening. We ended up picking up a few useful items when picking up the sewing order. Customer service was mostly positive. Three of the four people who have helped me here have been really kind and helpful. One even calling me to confirm placement of a patch. The fourth was fine. He got the job done. Store is a mix of new and used items. More than uniforms/clothing and shoes. Stock includes pins, MREs, backpacks, holsters, flags, children's items, etc... There are even some items from international militaries. Those were particularly interesting to see. One of my kids got a kick out of seeing two vintage military jeeps parked inside the store.

Unfortunately, the hat didn't fit. So we went in and asked if we could do an even exchange for a larger size. The first employee told us it wasn't a problem and helped my son locate the correct size. All good. We took the new hat over to the cashier (a different employee) and we were informed that exchanges were not allowed without an original receipt or the original credit card used. Clearly, I don't know how they paid for the hat. Regardless: Store shopping bag All original Tags Zero help. Lesson here: do NOT buy gifts at this store. Something as simple as even exchange is impossible unless the original purchaser is present with a receipt or credit card used. So now my son has a $41.99 hat (plus tax!) that will sit on his shelf but will never be worn. Pathetic, poor business practices in my opinion.
