Worst customer service EVER. I ordered a shoe from they're side, an employee said it would be at my home in about 3-5 days on feb 14 Sat, and they told me that customers usually don't have problems with shipping. Which was a lie. If you ever decide to buy a shoe from there store don't let them buy it from there side (online) just buy it in person or from another store. And I kept calling them about my shoe and they kept postponing the order. It's now march 4, and they told me that they returned the shoe back to the store and they would return my money, SERIOUSLY!? Wasting my damn time. Honestly anyone that ever experienced should get a free shoe from vans. Time is Money. read more

BUYER BEWARE! This place is cute, well furnished and has some great deals. Here's the problem.... the sales and price rules they have are very confusing and a little misleading. They have signs that say Buy ANY shoe and get a second shoe half off is in big words. In fine print, it says * only selected styles. There is no specific pricing or markings on the shoes to tell me which qualify for the special sale. It was even hard to find a simple price. After I waited in a long line for a awhile, and afterwards the cashier said," oh these don't qualify for the sale." So I had to pay full price. There is no specific section for the shoes that qualify for the half off shoes. The shoes I bought were directly behind the 50% off sign but didn't qualify. It's very misleading.... perhaps on purpose? Why wouldn't they make it easy to differentiate and simply separate the ones on sale n not. read more

A lot more people start showing up more around 11:30am to 12pm So its best to get there and line up before they even open So other times I bought four shoes no sale shoes. Lady at front told me if I knew I was buying regular priced and I said yes. Bought those and left I believe it was 12/11/20 when I got two regular shoes plus two sale shoes from the wall(open boxes) Buy any (regular)shoe get any SALE SHOE 50% off The sale shoes i got were brown leather high tops regular price is $90. Sale price was 59.99 which I might add the sticker was on the shoe not the box I got two of them but the second one I didn't check for the sticker. I wanted to hurry because the line to pay was getting big Went to the counter and the cashiers name is Sommer She looked at the sale shoes and said their not part of the sale shoes, that their regular I was surprised but I'm all, okay. I assumed she knew what she was doing But I was wrong It kept bugging me when I went home and I inspected the shoes. They looked like they were refurbished You can see the glue on the bottom of the shoe where it connects with the gum bottom. Looked like someone buffed the leather so you don't see scuff marks or the old leather Went back and Matthew helped me. And he completely understood what was going on and said I should have never been charged full price for the sale shoes. Plus the fact that the shoe looked defective He returned and I paid again for the price its supposed to be I got back $90 Please inspect the sale shoes like you should inspect your car after its been fixed. Chasity took my phone call and helped find the exact pair of shoes in the size and color I wanted and when I went to the store the shoes were waiting up front for me... I decided to check out this location because it is the outlet store for Vans. I was l looking for a specific retro pair of vans for my son, which they had but unfortunately they did not have the size I needed. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I wish I could remember his name but I'm awful when it comes to names. He went above and beyond in trying to find what I needed. Went in today, was helped by Julie, grabbed some shirts and 2 pairs of shoes (an employee informed us that the shoes were buy one get one half off, she NEVER specified) so she informs us that our shoes don't qualify for the sale. My sister tells her that they didn't specify and she goes back and fourth with us (so rude, joining my moms and I convo without us even talking to her). Very annoyed! I decided to buy vans from Journeys across the way. We walked into the Vans store today to purchase 2 pairs of vans. I didn't expect a deal but they advertise buy one get 50% off sale items. I ask where would we find the sale items. The associate points us to the back wall and says these ones here with the orange stickers. We spend a few moments looking for shoes and find 2 pairs. Well come to find out, they weren't on sale. They were just on th back wall because they were not in the original box but that doesn't mean they would put them on sale. While I understand this isn't frustrating for some; for me it is! Why would you mix sale items and regular items? Only one reason. To trick your customer into purchasing something they think is on sale and then get to the register and find out it's not! I decided I'd rather buy full price then to buy from a company that is deceitful! read more

I bought a shirt that was tagged at 12.95. When I went to pay the girl told me it was marked up to 14.95. Luckily I really liked the shirt and got it anyway but still making me pay 2 extra dollars when the shirt was original 2 dollars less is ridiculous. Whatever their policy is. I didn't make a big deal over it because I was in a rush and there was a long line. Still pretty annoying though. I was so happy with the deals I got today! When I walked in, an employee named Justice talked to me about sales shoes and asked if I needed help. I shopped around and found some cool shoes on the sales rack, checkered Brown in my size. Justice then complimented me on them, and told me about a deal the store was having! He told me that the sale shoes I have are half off if I get another pair. He convinced me to get another, and showed me all of the good sales racks! I asked one of the male employee for help finding the shoe I was looking for, I showed him the picture of them on my phone he asked me what size I needed and he went to go get it for me. It was first time ever being at this Vans location. I went to help my cousin shop for his back to school shoes. I would say I am upset with what happened when it came to me paying. The cashier that helped me was nice. I asked her out of curiosity if they do student discount (since I tend to ask other places because many places do) and she asked the manager and I would say the look the manager gave me was rude. She shook her and and looked at me with a confused face but in a rude way at the same time. I wasn't upset they don't do student discounts but I would have to say it wasn't the best way to look at a customer who was curious to know. read more

I come here often due to the fact that my kids will only wear Vans shoes. Every time we go we are provided with excellent customer service. There is always an employee that offers to help and gives you there name in case you need anything. Yesterday I returned a pair of defective shoes and the lady that came up and helped me made it go smoothly no questions asked. Because of things like this and the fact they back their product ,and most of all the employees are very helpful and are there to check sizes and so on, we will continue doing business here. I know this is an outlet but I don't like the whole "Payless" setup they have in there. One Asian lady that was folding clothes was completely rude as well which is unlikely at vans, and was a disappointment to see. The lines are HORRIBLE. But.... The deals are worth the wait! They had so many awesome deals to get more bang for your buck. Lots of buy one get one free or buy one get one half off. The also had vans T-shirts for $10. Let's take a moment to appreciate that. Official. Vans. T-shirts. For. 10. Bucks. Say what?! Sweet!!!! Some of their shoes were buy one get one half off. They had a decent selection of stuff. Shoes, hats/beanies, shits, jackets, pants, socks etc. I was a little bummed because I found some really cute hot pink vans and I fell in love with them! But they didn't have my size. Only had that one paid left. Sad day. But I found a cute vans sweatshirt grey with purple writing so that gave me warm fuzzy feelings and I left a happy camper. My man got two of the vans shirts (which are so cool looking) and he got a pair of pants. The pants were a good deal, they were anywhere between $20-40. Which is a steal for vans gear. They had a deal where you buy one pair at regular price and get 1/2 off of a discounted pair. Too bad neither of the two I bought were part of the discounted deal so I ended up paying full price for both. Boooo! Customer service was ok. The store was extremely crowded, which made it frustrating to shop because of people bumping and pushing to get through the aisles. It was so annoying! Other than the crowd of people swarming through the store, there are tons of cool shoes, clothes, socks, backpacks, etc.. to shop for. I'm giving it a three star because I can't stand how crowded it was in the store, and that the price for everything is pretty pricey. Initially, I was not happy coming into this Vans store. I had taken my little sister there for her 15th birthday to try on some new vans. She had requested a size 6 but the sales associate did not want to go look and said "we don't have it". However, another associate thankfully came to the rescue, Daniel, and went to go get her size (it was too small), so Daniel mentioned we could order the shoes + free shipping. On top of that, another pair of vans were free. Moreover, there was another customer who had pushed me and my sister while shopping. Daniel was aware of the situation and made us feel comfortable away from the rude customer. He apologized on the customer's behalf (which was not needed since it was not his fault). He said, "if anything like that ever happens in our store again you can let me or a manager know and we can help you out". He was very professional and an outstanding worker. Definitely will go again just because of how well this employee handled the entire situation. read more

So about 2/3 weeks ago I went into this store and I was buying a gift for someone and I saw there was a special buy1 get 1 half off. I asked Some guy a question about it and he explained it very well. His name was Justice I think? I'm not sure! I kept having to ask him to check sizes in the back because the stock in the front don't have what I needed. He literally went to the back like 4 times and never hesitated. Was here last Saturday, they were having buy one get one 50% off. I got 2 pairs for $54 after tax which is a really good deal. The downside of shopping here was the aisles are extremely narrow, if someone was in there looking for shoes, you cannot by pass them. Also not enough seating area to try on shoes. Not to mention the store is small and was very crowded at the time of my visit. I was happy with the deal, but the experience was what I would've avoid in future. read more
