Located off Torrance Bl in Torrance. This is one of the OG Vans store been here for a long time I even remember when I got my first pair I think it was middle school and then High School. My parents would take me here to get them. This place is small they have parking in the back but that too is very small you can also park on the street. The store is clean and lots of selections. Sandra the gal who helped me was excellent she knew her stuff and didn't pressure me to buy certain styles she helped with what I wanted she did recommend or show alternatives but overall provided excellent customer service. After trying on a few pairs I finally decided on the black on black. Overall a great experience here I recommend this location. read more

Small Vans store on a corner street but it's been here as long as I can remember. Plenty of street parking around the residential area next to the store. I came in here for the classic black and white Vans and the workers there were nice and helpful. As soon as I came in, I was asked what I was looking for. Tried my size and paid for it. I first went to this Vans store in the 1970's before Vans was a "thing". I was about 12 when I got my first pair. If I remember correctly you could custom order the canvas you wanted them to use on what they now consider to be "old school" styles. More than 50 years later I still have a few pairs of Vans in my closet. This store is where it all started for me. It's still a great place with a great selection even after all these years. This Vans store has been around forever. I bought my first pair from them in the early 80s. I didn't know who Spicoli was, just needed the shoes with hearts on them! Now, they have shoes, clothes, hats, socks, bags, and they are packed (socially distant right now of course - we had to wait ten minutes to get in). They have a wide selection, and will call any store to try to help you find those they don't. Now, stores in the mall sell Vans. But I like going to my neighborhood original. read more

Great staff , parking on street or in small back lot is sometimes difficult ,but always great sales on something. I heart Hello Kitty and so if I see a giant Hello Kitty across the street...it will for sure get my attention. Lol! Upon closer look, I realized it was the Vans store. It was the first weekend that they were selling hello kitty vans. I came here the next day to go check it out and found out from the cashier that they didn't have the adult size hello kitty vans yet but they were arriving the next day. I came back the next day and sure enough the shipment of adult size hello kitty vans were there. The workers were helpful in getting me the different sizes and designs. They had no issue at all when I asked to see the different ones. Since it was the first day that these adult hello sized kitty vans came out, there seemed to be continuous traffic coming in and out of the store. My husband wanted some shoes for his birthday. I had went to Nike and Tillys down the street but didn't see anything I liked. I googled shoe stores on my way home and came across this vans store. I passed it the first time but ended up finding it just fine. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a girl who was stocking and by a guy coming from the back. I explained that I was looking for a present for my husband but didn't exactly know what I was looking for. They were so helpful!! They were patient, let me take my time, showed me new items they just got in stock. I ended up buying shoes for the whole family. I even made a mistake and bought my son the wrong color shoes and he had to do a whole exchange (and didn't break his smile.) Moreover, the shoes are reasonably priced. This shop is located in central Torrance. Some of the not so obvious amenities are that they have behind the store parking and wifi. I have been a big fan of Vans shoes for years, but today when I visited that love was reaffirmed. Doing a little Christmas shopping with the girlfriend and we stopped in to Vans Torrance. The gentlemen who helped us were very friendly as well as helpful. Not even my special request to purchase shoes in a mis matched size (my mom has a brace on one foot which requires a larger size) slowed these boys down. This is the kind of service which really makes me happy to return and patronize a business. It makes me feel like both Vans and its employees care about customers and not just profits. I haven't been to this Vans in so long! It's way smaller than the one in Del Amo and their selection is pretty big! One full wall to be exact. Their customer service is ON POINT! They all (3 total) greeted me once I walked in the store. I kind of had to squeeze my way through the clothing racks since there were a couple people trying on shoes, but I didn't mind. I only came here to exchange my shoes for a different size that I bought at Vans Del Amo. I haven't worn Vans in a very long time and I remember I could fit into kids sizes (my shoe size: 6.5), but since the shoe I bought was leather, the lady told me its best to get a size up since you can get blisters. Thanks to the Asian girl for letting me know! :) We did an even exchange and I was out of there. Parking: I parked in the neighborhood since I thought you could enter the back parking lot but nope. I did have to walk by it though and was happy I parked on the street since it's a small lot. They do have reserve parking spots for Vans customers only. Hours: 9am-7pm read more

This store is a hidden gem. It may be small but looks can be deceiving. The store had more sizes available than the Vans in Del Amo mall. Del Amo had limited sizes and no one to help. This store their staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Jacob was beyond amazing. I bought my first pair of real tennis shoes from this store here as a child. I have fond memories of my first pair of Vans. I hope this store will be around forever because its iconic and people like myself enjoy come back to shop time and time again. read more
