Beautiful store. Great people. Flowers are on par with any top notch florist. Yet, their prices are ridiculous. $13-$24 for one flower stem is highway robbery. They provided flowers for a small wedding in Palos Verdes of 14 people total. RHFM provided a wrist bouquet for the bride wrist bouquets for the women guests, boutonnieres for the men guests and a small arrangement at the altar and the cost was over $4000. We love RHFM in Redondo, and we go there all of the time. Sometimes it's to make myself a "just because" bouquet, and other times it's because we want to get someone a gift. Today was an extra special experience because I came in as a walk in to get a large bouquet made for our new vet office who saved our cat's life, and we wanted to show our appreciation. I asked for something happy and joyful for the staff to look at, and boy did they deliver. Our vet called us ecstatic and loved them! It was a hit! I have been getting my orchids, succulents, air plants and much more from Rolling Hills Flower Mart at Redondo Beach. The service I receive here is amazing. It is like visiting my family!! I love their selection of flower pots - from a watering can to a miniature wheelbarrow to a miniature bathtub and a beautiful bark - potted with an array of plants. I have sent and received a few arrangements from RHFM. Being from LA and visiting the downtown flower mart on regular basis I know the price of flowers and they are def on the pricey side but I typically don't mind paying the price since they do a pretty nice job. That is until I received an arrangement from RHFM on my birthday 4 days ago. It was nice but it was not a $300 arrangement that my husband paid for!! It also lasted a couple of days and I am pretty sure it needs to go in the trash tomorrow. Not to add the AC is running high in our house and heat was not an issue. Needless to say I am pretty disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere from here on. I love Rolling Hills Flower Mart so much that even after I moved to Culver City I still get my flowers from here. I always request Chelsea designs my arrangements since she is truly an artist. Most recently my boyfriend got my Valentine's Day flowers for me and worked with her on creating a bouquet with all of my favorite flowers and I wish I could keep them forever. I have a penchant for hydrangeas, orchids, peonies, and roses ( According to my boyfriend I like the priciest flowers ‍) and she was able to blend them all seamlessly!!! You get what you pay for here and I consider it a luxurious treat. Ps. For some reason I can't find a Yelp account for the Manhattan location so I'll leave it here. I ordered two beautiful bedside flowers and they were beautiful. I asked for a mixed bouquet with peonies and they made sure I had the freshest ones. I'd really like to commend their customer service. I wasn't able to pick up the flowers until 5 days after they were promised and they offered to make me a new set that was from a fresh delivery, no questions asked. While on the expensive side, the quality of the flowers and designs are top notch and worth all the money. I was very disappointed in the bouquet I picked up for Mother's Day. The place was packed and there wasn't any parking so I rushed in. When I got home and realized the bouquet was not as nice as what I had ordered the week earlier I emailed them. I was surprised that they called me immediately. Within twenty minutes they had replaced my bouquet with another beautiful arrangement. I am long over due in regards to giving this place a review. The store itself is beautiful!! The entire staff is great. Everyone is always working hard and busy, which is how you know this is a great shop with a great product! I always ask for Caitlin. She is very kind and helpful, especially when I want to make a custom bouquet. I am always given her undivided attention. She, like all of the staff, is knowledgeable about all the flower and plant selections they have available, how long they will last in a vase, how to care for them, etc. etc. Even though I take a long time to make decisions, she is patient with me and always helps me create my vision. There is always a fantastic selection of fresh and stunning flowers to choose from here!! Whenever I come in, I always find some type of new flower or plant that I haven't seen before, which is exciting. Everything is always beautiful, clean, organized, and "user friendly" which is great if you are like me and like to build your own bouquets. You can choose and decorate your glass vases with all kinds of rocks or shells - this is a special flower shop. They have orchids, succulents, cactus, air plants, leaves, branches, not just flowers! There is also a great selection of other gifts to choose from in here, like jewelry, candles, lotions, etc.; this is the perfect one stop shop if you want to get/create a thoughtful gift for someone. I hope they do a damn good job for their clients because their quotes for just about everything seemed inflated compared to other quotes from other florists. I'm giving them three stars mainly because the consultation was not a good experience for me. I felt pressured to do something much fancier than I had the budget for. The guy's attitude reflected that he only does big expensive weddings and my small scale wedding wasn't worth his time and energy unless I wanted to pay over priced fees for the handful of items I needed. I was referred here by a close friend, who insisted that I stop by the Rolling Hills Flower Mart to inquire about arrangements for our wedding. My fiancé and I excitedly stroll in on a gorgeous Sunday after brunch, and appeared to be the only two patrons in the shop. We perused around for quite a few minutes and were not once even greeted! This was quite peculiar considering an older middle-aged woman behind the counter even made direct eye contact with me, and still couldn't even muster up a greeting. As I browsed through the store, looking at the trinkets and perfumes, I made a few comments aloud, alluding to the fact that I could use some help- still nothing. During this time, we overheard her having a conversation with a young man also behind the counter, exclaiming that she has a friend who owns another local business, and how his business wasn't doing so well due to his lack of customer service. Um, excuse me? We were probably part of a very small handful of patrons that walked in that day, and were so turned off by the frigid treatment, that we decided to take our business elsewhere. This was such a shame, and very disappointing to both of us, as we love supporting small, local businesses and were looking forward to potentially having them serve as an integral part of our special day. Tip to anyone in the customer service industry: Treat others the way you'd like to be treated. You never know what your lack of kindness will cost you. read more

I have to say the owner of this place was very nice. I came in today very stressed out and needed a few lilies for my bouquet for a photo shoot the next day and she said she would go to the mart in the morning and pick up some opened lilies for me and make a small bouquet for me to pick up before my shoot and charge me "next to nothing" and give me a call in the morning to let me know if she had found what I was looking for. Picked up the bouquet today...didn't get a call so I called myself just in case. 4 lilies and 4 roses plus some greenery... She charged $30... Not a lot but also not next to nothing.. Flowers were pretty but all of the lilies were missing many petals.... I was a little disappointed the the bouquet didn't last more than 2 hours... Only about 2 or 3 petals left on the lilies by the end of the 2 hour shoot and I was very careful with it... The owner is very nice as was her staff and the store was beautiful... It was nice not to have to worry about making my own bouquet last minute... I don't think I would buy more flowers here though since they didn't last more than 2 hours... Anyway, when I called to let them know what happened they could not have been more responsive and professional in how it was handled. My one star rating does not apply to the quality of the flowers, but more so the disappointment and the lack of organization/clarity of the hours they are open. While I've gone to the Manhattan Beach branch and love everything they do their, I was told the Redondo Branch is a bigger store and worth it to check out. I have attempted to check out the Redondo store 3 times--on 3 different days--and every time I go, they are closed. I have called the store and they told me they close at 6:30 in addition to their yelp hours also reflecting the 6:30 closing time, and their sign outside posted "open". Yet the doors are locked and the lights are out. This location is out of my way, but being a huge fan of the quality of flowers this company has I tried going multiple times in accordance to their hours of operation via yelp and the person I spoke to on the phone in the past. read more

Jeff did an amazing job for our wedding. From the first consultation, he gave us wonderful service. He was able to take a few photos and ideas I brought and turn it into a personalized design that we loved. The flowers ended up being my favorite part of the wedding because they were beautiful, fine quality, and different from any wedding I've seen. I saw one comment that this is an expensive vendor, but it's because you are not getting cheapy flowers here; all the arrangements, bouquets, and boutonnieres stayed fresh and sharp looking throughout the evening. You don't want your flowers looking wilted in the pictures after hours of being held and handled, and you will not be disappointed if you use Jeff. Also, his design ideas are unique and tailored to you. After my consultation with Jeff, all the other design elements (like the lighting, linens, chairs, etc.) fell into place because he gave me such a clear visualization of the look of the venue. If you have a gazebo or archway to decorate, you must use RHFM! They will transform your venue into a fairy tale! PS - Wedding needs aside, the shop in the village has gorgeous arrangements and gifts to fit any need. NEVER again. This is one of my most favorite flower and gift shops in the South Bay. I purchased two necklaces at $120 each with a swear word. Very cute, a lil pricey but it was Christmas. Being a professional, I realized there will not be a place for me to wear this and assumed I could exchange it. They stated that I needed a receipt and it would only be good for 30 days from purchase. Well clearly it's past 30 days. The necklace has never been worn, still has the tag on it and is in its original box. They refused to exchange it, even tho I would have to pay more for another item to match the cost. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I've been a customer for many years having worked across the street from the store.
