Oreo nutella shake
Crystal X.

Oh wow...the shakes really are delicious! I had the Oreo nutella shake and it was heavenly. Definitely on the sweet side though and they slather on the whipped cream so be careful if you're watching your waistline. :P Shisha was alright too - I don't do it often (not at all really) but the grape mint one was pretty good imo. It was around $15 per hookah so prices are really reasonable. Overall a chill place for shisha and shakes! They also have a projector and plenty of TVs so it's a nice place to watch games and chat :)

The best milkshake I've ever had

One of the best hookah bars in the DMV area. I've been to this hookah bar twice now and each time I've gone their hookah and service has been exceptionally good! They have a great selection of tobacco including Al-Fakher's special edition. I was surprised with how cheap their hookah is, it's about $15 per hookah. The decorations are nice, the area is clean, the service is great, and the atmosphere in general is cozy and relaxing. Their milkshakes are a MUST! By far the richest milkshake I've ever had! I got the strawberry flavor and my friend got the Oreo, both of which were so delicious! The owner is very polite and has excellent customer service. Definitely one of my favorites.

Great shisha spot with good customer service, had the blueberry with mint and it was a very smooth flavor. It was very slow probably due to Ramadan but the service was good and I had the Nutella shake wish tasted as great as it looked. Definitely will come back here with more friends!

This place is a very cool place to chill and hang out. Our server Navit was very attentive and I even got to meet the owner Jabran. I highly recommend the double apple mint hookah.

First time here & I am blown away! Super affordable compared to other local hookah lounges & oh my gahhh the milkshakes are bomb! Absolutely wonderful service along with the overall vibe. It's a great place to bring your friends to just relax. It's a clean, modern and alcohol free environment. Definitely will be back!

Their menu consist of just hookah and…read morenon-alcoholic drinks - I would not recommend if you're looking for a bite, because there's no food. It's not a high-energy spot - there was no music playing, and at one point, someone dropped their hookah and the entire place went silent. The vibe leans more to a mature crowd, with a mix of solo guests on laptops and small groups chatting. That said, the seating is pretty tight and lack of music and background noise makes it easy to overhear everyone's conversations. While there are four TVs inside, none were turned on during the visit. Instead, a few guests were playing music off their phones. Since it's no-frills, service is fast, but there's only one server, so don't expect much in the way of follow-up or table service. There's no mobile or table checkout - slightly inconvenient, especially with how tightly the tables are packed. You have to walk to the back to pay . Hookahs are placed on the floor, making it a bit of a struggle to get out if you're seated in the booths. They carry three main hookah brands, with various flavors , and drink prices are affordable, typically ranging from $2 to $3.50. -Al Fakher -Starbuzz -Adalya The lounge is located in a small, well-lit strip near Moda Café and a Tex-Mex grill. Parking availability is a non-issue. Inside, however, it's fairly dim. It's not ideal for a date night, but it works if you're looking for a budget-friendly place or simply hookah.

The real price is $16, still pretty good deal. Quality is good, the ambiance is not that of a lounge, more like a college coffee shop.

The lounge is next door to Class 520 and caters a very small, private lot of up to 15 - 20 cars at a maximum. The establishment is dimly lit but well furnished with several tables, chairs and couches. There's a single, gender-neutral bathroom in the back of the lounge for anyone to use. Everything is clean inside and outside the lounge and I appreciate the sanitary measures the employees take with wiping the areas and equipments. Their menu has extensive choices of flavors. I tried their Strawberry Mint which tasted subtle with a hint of sweetness. I don't have much to compare it to since it was my first time, but I did enjoy the flavor. You also have the ability to mix flavors which is a cool add-on. Service here is outstanding. The moment you walk in, you're immediately greeted and seated. My friends and I informed the staff that this was all our first time and they made the effort to explain their recommendations, most popular flavors and how our experience would work. I appreciated their patience with answering our questions and that they were continuously checking up on us. Yelp also has a 15% code available for use which ultimately brought our total to $20 amongst 4 people. Totally affordable and such a great deal. I personally would recommend this place to anyone looking for a hookah lounge in the area.

It's intimate and music isn't too loud, so it's easy to talk. Service is always good, and their menu always has good flavors. Last night I had mint & orange and it was very very good! Don't let the name fool you, Ocean8 is just as much a restaurant as it is Hookah lounge, if not…read moreeven more of a restaurant! It's criminal that this place has so few reviews. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, and not overwhelming. I ordered food to-go because I did not want to deal with the Hookah smoke, and this is what I suggest for anyone else not comfortable with Hookah. The food is absolutely worth it! I ordered the Uyghur Samosa and Lamb Kabob. Uyghur Samosas are flaky, buttery pastries packed with a ground meat mixture(just like Vietnamese Pate Chaud!). Super delicious. Now, I'm not a lamb guy but the lamb kabob just blew me out of the water. Not gamy in the slightest, the meat is tender and has plenty of spice. Pickled onions and pita are a nice compliment. Could not recommend the lamb enough!! Please do yourself a favor and visit Ocean8, they deserve more recognition.

Incredibly…read moregratifying especially in the rich flavors and succulent taste & textures of the food served at dinner. Ali, Raoul, and the spectacular staff of Ocean8 for created a superb dining experience & introduction to exotic Ugyhur & Afghan cuisine. The staff and people we met there and dined with were very kind & gracious towards us. It was our first experience with Uyghur and Afghan cuisine and food we never had. All of the food was highly delicious. We had appetizers, dinner, and desserts in a buffet style. Servers came to our table and provided cups of ice and canned / bottled drinks of water and soda to us. The manager, Raoul, went from table to table to talk and provide assistance to us and all of the guests. Despite the huge crowd of diners, the staff were very professional and made sure all the guests needs were met. The appetizers we sampled were the: *Turkish Cheese Rolls The Star of all the appetizers. We loved the rich, lush, and creamy flavor. It was ideal to eat this appetizer first before sampling the other appetizers. ( Crispy, thin pastry rolls filled with creamy feta cheese and fresh parsley, lightly fried to perfection - reminiscent of the Italian version of a mozzarella stick) * Punjabi Samosa This appetizer gave an intense punch of flavor & spice in the first bite. It was the spiciest, unique, & most memorable flavor among all the appetizers served. ( A Punjabi Samosa is a crispy, golden pastry filled with a spiced blend of potatoes, peas, and aromatic herbs. Deep-fried to perfection and served with tangy tamarind and zesty mint chutneys. A classic North Indian street food favorite. * Uyghur Samosa Very easy to eat, delicious, and reminded me of a hand held version of chicken pot pie. My least favorite yet still a good appetizer. ( It is a breaded appetizer filled with seasoned minced beef and onions, topped with sesame seeds. ) This was the last appetizer I ate, and it reminded me of an Asian & Arabic smaller version of a chicken pot pie. Very tasty. ) * Afghan Homestyle Bolani I love how it was mildly flavored with spice and it was like an Afghan version of a quesadilla. ( An Afghan Bolani is a crispy, stuffed potato flatbread from Afghanistan filled with potatoes, green onion, chili peppers, and fresh herbs. It's pan fried until golden brown and crispy then cut into wedges.) * Garden Salad - A fresh and vibrant mix of cucumber, tomato, onions, and peppers. Dinner was Uyghur Pilaf Rice, Lamb chops, Uyghur Lamb Shish Kebab , a meatloaf like burger with an onion filling inside it, Ocean8 Chicken Chops, and Cacık Yogurt. The dinner entrees had more spice and intense flavors than the appetizers. My favorite entree was the lamb chop especially when eaten with the side of Uyghur pilaf rice and the cacik yogurt. The other meat dishes were superb in their flavor, spices, and presentation as well. Cacik, pronounced ja-jik is a Turkish yogurt and cucumber dish that's very common in almost all regions in Turkey. It was my favorite side & condiment to combine with the rice and dinner entrees. It reminded me of raita, and I ate the cacik with my dinner entrees the way I would eat raita. Raita is a classic Indian side dish made with cool, creamy yogurt, crisp cucumber, onions, and fresh herbs. It's a flavorful way to balance out the bold, spicy flavors of Indian food. We ordered two takeouts of the dessert we wanted to try at home after eating so much at the restaurant - the Tiramisu Cake. It was light, airy, and melted in your mouth - dessert perfection in taste and texture. I usually skip dessert but I could resist not trying this dessert. Overall, we were very highly satisfied and grateful for our dining experience at Ocean 8. We look forward to having future food experiences there.

This was my second visit to this location…read more As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by staff members. They let me check out the place before being seated. The bar area is self-seating.I chose to sit in the bar area...the only remaining big table with high chairs/table...it was packed! The happy hour is pretty awesome here. They have daily happy hour from 4-6 pm, which is pretty awesome, starting early and ending late. There is also a power hour from 3-6, where everything on the happy hour menu is $5, which is a little early!! The menu includes regular bar food and a variety of drinks (as shown in the picture). We ordered the following: -Let that "man"go - in general it's an iced drink, so I'd avoid. -Spicy pina marg - another iced drink. It was ok. -I'm Ron Burgundy (2x)- this had a nice strong coffee flavor, doesn't come with ice; I would highly recommend it...they made it so good!!! -Maker's mini nachos - There proportion of chips to toppings was off there wasn't enough toppings and too many chips, but there was a lot of cheese. -Calamari was a good portion, and tasty -Chicken tenders - they were delicious and moist There are so many items to choose from on the power hour/happy hour menu. I would definitely recommend lil B and the wings. There was live music, which was just way too loud for such a small space. We would have been okay with all the music. There is plenty of parking available in nearby garages, I believe free after 5pm. There is also timed/paid parallel parking. Would I return? definitely!
