So I feel this review should have the most weight since we have used them so many times. Its a corporate account and pretty much forced to use them. We have ordered more then 10 refrigerators from them. 80 to 90% they can't follow basic directions. Call 30 minutes before you come, almost never happens. Hello I am here. Varouj Appliances will life and deceive and attempt to defraud you. I purchased an item for more than $700 from them through Walmart.com. I received an email from them with a tracking number and shipping information that was fake. After three phone calls with them and no delivery a full week after the email they sent said the item would be delivered, they finally admitted that their warehouse was in "chaos" and they didn't even have the item I ordered and didn't know when they would have it. They lied for over a week and those lies included making up shipping tracking numbers. I came here specifically because of the phenomenal delivery person who came to deliver a refrigerator today. Ronnie went WAY above and beyond his usual responsibilities to help us put the refrigerator in our apartment. I was astounded by how much he offered to help (move items, take out other items, etc). He even helped me move wine glasses so they wouldn't break when he was putting the refrigerator in our apartment! I've never written a negative Yelp review before but since these guys left a card saying rate us on yelp and provided lousy service they deserve it. I'm very happy with the refrigerator they delivered BUT they gave me a time window of 9am - 1pm and showed up at 3:30pm which made me late for a student. I asked them to take their shoes off in my place and they didn't. Because I anticipated their late arrival I put all my food into bags to facilitate the transfer. Talk about service! Varouj is the Best. My dishwasher went out and in just a few days the new one I purchased was being delivered. Roberto and Daniel, earlier than expected, called to announce they were 15 minutes away and they came in friendly and professional and had it installed and tested in about twenty minutes. I bought a dishwasher from these guys. They were selling through the Sears site (I have contacted Sears as well regarding this). The machine came very promptly. Unfortunately, the top rack would not get cleaned was hardly touched) and none of them were dried. I went on the net and troubleshooted, ran multiple cycles etc, but no dice. So I had to go through the pain in the butt of returning this thing. The Sears site indicated I first needed to go through the vendor, so i launched an email to Varouj. Nothing for a day, so I called the next morning (I am renovating my kitchen and so was a little impatient) at 7:30 AM and got a message saying they opened at 8:30. Called at 9, same message. Called at 10, same message. Finally got through at noon and some one answered mumbling "mumblemumble Appliance can you hold" click. Was on hold for maybe 5 minutes. Person #2 answers, I explain and they transfer me to another area. Hold. Person #3 answers and sends me somewhere else. hold. Person#4 answers and listened to my tale again. He then let me know a ticket was created for me, emails have been sent to me and i should hear back from the next person soon. I said i was in a hurry, he said it would be an hour or so. Nice guy. I logged in to the site and went to the ticket a couple hours later. It was asking me to describe the issue. i did. A couple hours later i asked for an update. About an hour later I got something saying it would be 2-3 days while they "complete their research and provide resolution". UGH! Returning this was already not in the cards, this sucks. I explained that I was unfortunately in the middle of this kitchen reno project and would appreciate some speed. Nothing until the next day, when i got an email saying that they will send a technician out to service the thing in 2-3 days. Now I am getting steamed. We are on lock-down in my state due to the Coronavirus. No one is comeing into my house unless it is an emergency. Deep breath. I remind him that I am RETURNING this machine and look forward to a prompt refund and directions on where to send it etc. He gets back to me the next day and quotes a law that gives them the right for an opportunity to fix it. If I send it back, it will be subject to restocking fees. Fine. This was bad experience with a terrible company, I will bite the bullet. I told him I would expect companies to adapt a little better during this outbreak and to let me know what the damage is. I haven't heard back in a couple of days. I have ordered a replacement from Amazon and it's already in my living room, waiting. Do NOT order from these guys on line. BEWARE OF THESE GUYS Absolutely horrible across the board. I recently purchased a refrigerator from them and they installed as well. They dented my fridge, scratched my floors, and kinked my brand new water supply line which i paid a plumber to install and had to pay again to fix. No water was coming from the dispenser meaning they didnt even test it. These guys have no idea how to do there job. Horrible customer service as well. STAY AWAY amd save yourself the heartache. First time to use them, after seeing the Yelp reviews. Yelp didn't disappoint! I dealt with Miro, and he was polite, courteous, and personable on the phone. He answered my questions and I didn't feel rushed. I initially got a 12K BTU 110v a/c from them, but when they installed it in the apartment unit, we found out that while electrical outlet for the ac was 110, the circuit was 220v. When I told Miro the problem, he had no problem waiting for me to have the outlet repaired by an electrician, then taking back the unit they installed, didn't charge a restocking fee, and installed a 14K BTU 220v unit. No hassle, no headache. Their prices for the unit and delivery are very reasonable! They were also prompt with their deliveries. I also liked the fact that you can call and always talk to a live voice, which is very rare nowadays. Very accommodating with requests. Thank you Miro for being easy to deal with, and not adding to the headache of not having a functioning ac on a very hot week. Highly recommended, you guys! read more

This place is shady, I can't believe I fell for this crap. My mother was looking for a washing machine she was gipped into buying a machine that wasn't on there books, so they brought the price down to sweeten the deal. When she got it they had a no return policy what so ever. When we used the machine it was awful in cleaning clothes, the machine was the was the worst of its kind in washing clothes. When I called them back to let them know that the machine was not good at washing clothes. They gave me the number to the previous owner that got them stuck with the hot potato "the crappy washing machine" he was very all about how he moved and needed to get rid of it because his new place had machines and he didn't need it any more etc. Some old Armo that gave it to these Armo's to sell to other people and rip them off. So then I called the Sears where previous owner bought the dam machine they said he didn't pay for insurance on it it was way passed 30 days of returning it. Not to worry the machine still had 6 month of coverage under warranty. If you don't wanna a head ache don't buy anything from these shady people. This is a buisness that needs to be brought down and taken to legal actions. They don't care about you or your problems, and I can see this happening to other people. read more
