Seamless operation. I wanted to upgrade my 25+ yr old electric slide in range and over the range microwave. To be fair, I went in pretty much knowing what I wanted after agonizing over Consumer Reports and online reviews. Waadt was the third appliance store I visited. Prices were consistent across the board. Most places didn't have demo electric ranges in store since it's low in demand, but they can order anything and seem to have direct contact with vendors. I wasn't in a hurry, so I placed my order with Bill on 2/13/26. He called me on 2/24/26 to let me know my appliances had arrived, process payment and we scheduled install for 2/26/26. I was given an install window of 9:30-11:30AM and they showed up around 10:00AM. The install guys were great. There was of course a problem, as my current range was hardwired to the electrical and there was no outlet for the new one. They said no problem, ran to the hardware store, bought the necessary supplies, installed the outlet and had me up and running. This is exactly why I didn't go with a big box store. Bill let me know his installers were equipped to handle any surprises and they were. Big box stores will only plug it in and leave. Any problems you're on your own to solve. Install prices, with the addition of an outlet, were reasonable. Would I use Waadt again? Definitely! read more

Unorganized, Untimely, Unapologetic. I got a call from Bill at 4pm asking to call him back to schedule a time for an installation the next day. I called back at 4:30. I asked for Bill but was told by another gentleman that he could assist since Bill was talking to another customer. His assistance: call back at 8:30am to get a 2 hour window. I called back at 8:30am. I got Bill who said I didn't return his call. I told him I did, and that I was told to call back at 8:30am (unorganized). Instead of a 2 hour window, he gave me a 3 hour window: 10:30-1:30. I didn't go into work so that I could be there for the full window. 1:30 rolls around and no word, so I call them and get told the original time was wrong, and that they'd be there at 2:30-3:00. 3:00 rolls around, I call again, and I'm told 3:30. 3:30 rolls around and I'm told 3:40. It ended up being 3:45. Extremely untimely at every opportunity, and I was stuck waiting the entire time. Zero proactive communication on their part. The washer/dryer they were replacing was up almost two flights of stairs, but they sent one guy to manage it and did not inform him of the stairs. Again, unorganized. Mistakes happen. Lateness happens. I get it. But the cherry on top was that no one at any point even seemed to care, to take accountability, or to apologize. read more

This store was the only store that I found that carried the washing machine that I wanted. I was looking for a new machine that didn't have a lid-lock. I called one day and spoke to Andrew. That same day, I went into this beautiful and clean store and Andrew greeted me. I ended up getting the washer and dryer set. They were both delivered and installed yesterday at my residence. The delivery men were great. They were professional and set everything up with care. I'm glad that I was given a 2 hour delivery window as opposed to an 8 hour delivery window that the big box stores give. Wow! What a difference from big box stores. Bought a new dishwasher at Home Depot a while back. They delivered it then told us they couldn't install it because our old dishwasher was hard wired (not plug-in). Had to get an installation refund and then find a handyman to do it. Fast forward to now. Our old Maytag 24" gas wall oven needed to be replaced. Umm. Let's try something different like maybe family owned WAADT who likely has seasoned installers. Good move! From on-line research, we had pretty much settled on a 24" Frigidaire gas wall oven. Andrew showed us a display model of that unit and confirmed that it was an excellent choice. We were in and out in about 20 minutes. Pleasant experience #1. The new oven was delivered a few days later. The installers were Oscar and Mario who have done installations together for 26 years along with newer Fernando. They treated our house with respect making sure no floors were scratched, doors dented, etc. They brought our jury rigged gas piping into compliance and basically did an outstanding job. We had purchased an LG washer dryer combo from Home Depot, super excited about the free installation and delivery. However, they had five different crews come out to attempt installation, each one finding a reason that they couldn't do it. At first it was that they didn't have the parts on the truck, then it was that it was "against policy" to install without drip pan or pump (this only applies to buildings filled after the year 2007, our building is much older than that, but they still used it as a reason to not install.) After almost 3 weeks of dealing with multiple customer service representatives, multiple installation teams who would show up and leave without installing our item, we finally had enough. We canceled our order with Home Depot. We went to WAADT, and from the start it was like night and day. Cesar answered all of our questions, made us aware of an awesome rebate that no one had told us about before, and dealt with us directly. The sales effort couldn't have gone smoother. Upon delivery we noticed we purchased a gas dryer. We needed an electric dryer. No problem switching out the two. Chris the sales person also mention that the electric is a bit less expensive than the gas dryer. He could've hidden that fact from us but was straight up and honest. I've been buying my appliances at Waadt since 2004 and have yet to be disappointed. Their sales people are thoughtful and thorough, their delivery is polite, on time, and quick installation, and their prices are competitive. It's nice to have a "local, small business" to be able deal with -- and they've been in business long enough to not be concerned that they won't be there if anything goes wrong. This is my third GE washing machine in 20 years and they've only had to be replaced because they no longer made the replacement parts that the washers needed. The first time the washer was only four years old, so GE also provided a "rebate" which Waadt allowed me to use on the replacement. Thankfully, Waadt always suggests the extended warranty on the products they sell and GE's warranty really is fabulous. Being able to support a small American business as well as purchasing a quality American made product -- what more could you ask for! read more

I purchased a used fridge from them some time ago. The fridge broke one day after the warranty was up. I fully expected them to blow me off, but they said, and I quote, "No this is not how we operate our business". And brought me another fridge free of charge. That memory has always sticky with me. This company has been in the Valley since the 1930's and I love supporting our local small businesses. Cesa Moran was our salesperson who was really helpful. I described our needs and he picked the perfect LG washer to fit our budget. On 7/21 at 8:30 am I called for delivery information and was told they were on the way with the washer. I've had this Amana dryer for at least 10 years. In the last few years we've been having problems with the heat not working. A man from another company charged me hundreds of dollars for the coil replacement and labor. About half a year later I had the same problem again. The same company came several times, fixing the same problem. At this point, I had enough, and was ready to scrap the dryer. However, after talking to one of my clients, she recommended Waadt Appliances for repair issues. After telling the technician Mr. Abdul what was the problem he decided to take the dryer apart and vacuumed inside thoroughly. I was shocked, thinking that only the bottom lid had to be opened to replace the coil. Well, I was wrong. The belt was shot. The blower wheel needed to be replaced. The Idle pull was broken. The 2 side rollers needed to be replaced. NO WONDER WE HAD TO CALL THE PREVIOUS REPAIR COMPANY SO OFTEN. Turns out it had nothing to do with the coils burning out. Mr. Abdul spend alot of time and energy to take out the blower wheel. The blower wheel was no longer attached to the metal center. Mr. Abdul had to break the wheel in half with a screw driver and a hammer. Also the metal center took 2 people to unscrew. The funny thing was, Mr.Abdul was waiting for me to say "forget it, ill buy a new dryer." Boy was he disappointed. Once the hard job was done, he replaced all the parts that needed to be replaced and put everything back together. I was worried about the bill after everything was done. Turns out, after all that work, he charged me around the same price as the previous technician. All in all, I am very satisfied with his honesty and the work he has done. If I can give him 10 stars out of 5 I would. I highly recommend Mr. Abdul from Waadt Appliances for your washer and dryer needs. read more

I ordered all of my new kitchen appliances for my renovation through Waadt and it's been a terrible experience to say the least. Once they got their sale, they didn't care about the quality of the appliances they sold me on that were not available in their showroom. It took many months and 4 service visits to get the install of both my panel ready dishwasher and refrigerator correct. They talked down to me, ignored my concerns, and gaslit me constantly saying everything was fine. For anything beyond an appliance you just plug in, go elsewhere! read more
