I researched Ortho Doctors by checking Education/Surgery Skills. That is when I decided on Dr. Raj Yalamanchili at Upper Chesapeake Hospital as my surgeon. He made me comfortable until it was decided surgery was necessary. I made that decision and am now 3 months post-op from a Total Knee Replacement. I was impressed with Dr. Raj's surgical skills and he was impressed with my recovery progress. He was a blessing in my life. I would recommend him to family and friends. His office staff is efficient and helpful getting all the pre-op exams accomplished. You owe it to yourself to check out Dr. Raj when looking for an excellent Ortho Surgery. Do your homework.

An orthopedic surgeon was planning on operating on my back within 8 weeks of my first appointment to see him. Luckily I sought out a second opinion and I was recommended to Health-bridge. Dr. Menges sat down with me and took the time to review my MRI results. Explained in detail what he saw and then drafted a plan to get my back issues resolved. I have been going 2-3 times a week for the past two months and my results have been nothing short of amazing. When I first started seeing the Dr I could barely walk, couldn't sleep in my own bed and driving my car was impossible. Presently ... I can do all those things with much greater ease. Since then, I come for normal routine therapy. They use electrodes for your muscles to relax them. It really helps. They also have the massaging water bed, which puts you to sleep! The office staff is very down to earth. If you like to be joking and have fun, this is the place for you. You can poke fun and they give it right back. It's a very enjoyable atmosphere. They work with almost any insurance and the auto accident claim was painless. Didn't have to do a thing! Even without insurance, the prices are reasonable, around $40 a visit. Dr. Cavanaugh has a great bedside manner and is a greatly skilled surgeon. He repaired and straightened my back and did more for me than I imagined. He has a PA, Mina who is equally skilled and caring and both of them take their time to listen and answer all your questions and don't rush you out. In fact, his whole staff is just as dedicated, hard working, kind, and efficient. When we were in the waiting room, his staff brought around snacks and water. Who does that? To get a doctor who is so amazing can happen but to get a doctor and staff that are equally amazing is incredibly rare. I would not allow any other orthopedic surgeon touch my back.
