I dropped off a lawn mower purchased from this location in March 2021. (dropped off 7/14) Talked to them later that day after they said there was a warranty issue. I called 7/16 to get an update and was told the warranty issue was cleared up, the part to fix it was on site, and the repair should be completed "in the next day or two." I'm happy thinking I will have it in time for the weekend so I can mow. Called back Monday, 7/20 for an update. Apparently the guy who works on this type of mower was out, but a box of supplies for this brand had just arrived, so he should be able to wrap it up when he returned the next day. (I thought the part was on site on 7/16???) Called AGAIN on 7/22 for an update. Was told by Jacob, (who seemed be inconvenienced by my call), that the parts were on order and he had no idea when they would arrive. I asked if I should expect a month or a week....He said closer to a week, but I don't have a lot of faith in them at the moment.

When I was struggling to mount a shelf, I got advice from one of the employees who was super friendly and explained to me exactly how to screw in the L brackets I was struggling with. He walked me over to the aisle and showed me exactly which screws would and wouldn't work for my project and explained to me how the screws would interact with different wall materials. Most recently I dropped by just before they closed to pick up drywall paste and a pallette knife. Despite me walking in ten minutes before they were supposed to shut, they didn't make me feel rushed at all and helped me find what I was looking for. I always prefer supporting a local business and I love having a neighbourhood hardware supply store I can count on with employees who feel kinda like family.

She and one of the employees worked really hard to take slip joint nut off of a p-trap for me so I would only have to purchase the nut and not a new p-trap, which saved me about $12. I thought the two items had corroded and fused together but she let me know that the issue was the installer used plumbers tape or a similar product (she had another word for it, which I can't recall), and if I cleaned it out before reinstalling then the issue wouldn't reoccur. A big box store would never go through this much effort. They also have the sweetest dog that I love to pet anytime I go there.

I stood there while groups of employees walked by and no one stopped to ask if I needed help. Initially walking down the gutter aisle an employee was already helping someone and as I approached the employee turned around and walked away and also being in the group that walked by. I eventually walked over to the other aisle and asked for help from an employee that was helping someone else. He was really nice and a big help. So why was I ignored by about 4 other employees?
