I cannot say enough amazing things about this vet clinic. I was referred here by my brother-in-law after calling numerous places for a mass removal for my 10-year-old dog. From the moment I contacted them, they were kind and understanding. They removed my dog's mass and also did a dental cleaning ...and the pricing was something I could actually afford. After calling around for rabbit neuter/spay quotes, this clinic was the best option--one of the most affordable clinics, with the most reviews on rabbit neuter/spay and a volunteer at south LA animal shelter told me they take their rabbits here sometimes for their surgeries, so I was relieved. Scheduling is easy as it can be done through email or text. (They're very responsive.) Ozzie, my bun, was just neutered here & he didn't need to stay overnight. I picked him up in 4 ish hours. This place is super busy and the people who work here are super friendly even thou hey are extremely swamp and it's a mad house on a Sat 8AM. Was very impressed how smoothly it ran and seemed to be pretty organized (Sat are their busy Spay/Neuter days - I think also on a Thurs.) It was pretty quickly executed even thou there was a good 20+ people that showed up all at once. I went 8AM to get a kitten Neutered and had my other kitty flea, & dewormed. It's also a small area inside with very few chairs, + it gets kinda packed. The veterinary assistant, and the actual veterinarian were telling me two different things of what to do with my pet's diet... I've taken both of my cats here and had 1 pretty good and really bad experiences. Back in January, my cat had to have a mastectomy and required multiple vet visits during the healing process. She healed very nicely and never had any issues. The appointment times are a joke and you'll be sitting there for 3 hours with little to not update, but it's relatively affordable and you get what you pay for 4/5 stars Because I had pretty good experience here the first time, I took our baby cat to the vet to be neutered here last week. Unfortunately while picking him up, my sister was embarrassed by one of the older ladies in front of an office full of people for "non-payment" of MY invoice from the previous service. I was never once reached out to not once regarding an overdue balance, and not only was the lady WRONG, he's now come home with fleas which adds an unnecessary stress to our household. I brought my eight month old British short hair here to get spayed off of a recommendation of a friend. What an amazing practice! I did the 6:00am drop off she was ready to go by 9:30am. Her spay incision is tiny and beautifully done. One day postop and I can already tell it will heal perfectly. First came here cos my cousin referred me. I brought my puppy Lucy (a small pup) for her first vaccines. The prices CANNOT be beat, seriously the cheapest place I found, and you can tell they actually care about the well being of animals. I stopped bringing Lucy because they mainly handle vaccines and surgeries, they dont really do yearly physicals or general wellness visits. More recently I brought my bunny Churro here for his vaccine and neuter. They were one of the only animal hospitals in the area that even work on bunnies. He was scheduled right away, the whole process was smooth, and they answered by questions via text even late late in the evening. I honestly thought they only handled small animals cos of the name, but FYI they actually take big dogs too. I have a golden retriever and never brought him here cos of my assumption, I was wrong. I would have save hundreds on his neuter if I brought him here instead. Highly, highly recommend this place if you want affordable, caring, smooth service for your pets! read more

I've had limited experience with Amazing Small Animal Practice, but it has mostly been positive! ASAP was recommended to me by a fellow rescue volunteer when I needed to get a cat I rescued SNAP tested. I was able to make an appointment online without an issues. However, when I arrived I had to wait an additional hour and half before being seen. There isn't a waiting area, so you're stuck hanging out in the parking lot. Dr. Beverly is very caring. Despite how hectic everything is, the staff at ASAP never loses their cool. They're very professional and polite. Dr. Beverly came and spoke to me personally, she asked why my cat wasn't getting neutered. I told her I had an appointment for him the following week. She urged me to take advantage that he was there and get neutered that same day so I agreed. I recently had an inquiry. I called ASAP and left a message and my phone number. It took a few days, but I was reached out to asking how they could help. My issue had been resolved, but I appreciate that they were diligent and got back to me! I do hope that in the future ASAP gets some sort of a waiting system where visitors can check in or that appointment times are honored. I also hope they move to a large facility with more waiting area space! They're absolutely amazing and do so much for the pet community. read more

Man, I wish I would have read the negative reviews on here before I tried to get our dog in to be neutered, because what they describe makes a lot of sense. They are on the list for the neutering voucher we got from a county shelter, so I called to try to set up an appointment. The answering machine said to email to set up an appointment. The voucher requires the neutering to be done within 60 days. After exchanging emails and sending information to them, they said their first available appointment is in four months, and required a deposit to hold the appointment.
