I was there to get some service for an older phone and to pick up a gift in the mall and happened to see V Color at the area near the food court where their booth is situated. Huan, the young man on duty, explained about availability of services and also referred me to a place where the old phone may be serviced. I definitely will return here to get repairs on my newer phones. I was impressed and always am, when a vendor tells the truth to a potential client and is able to give excellent customer service. Absolutely amazing service! Took my phone recently and was expecting the same BS service I've had before (my wife likes to break screens). These guys were on it and it was affordable! It was done in about 30-45 minutes (which was still too long because it gave my wife the ability to shop longer) and they even fixed the button on top which was hardly working free of charge! these guys are on it and I'm happy I gave them a try. Not the quality I expected, it's been about a month I came to this company and my screen has cracked again, keep in mind I did not drop my phone, I simply placed it on my table and I have a phone cover that has a rim around it, so how this happened boggles my mind . This company offers a 6-month warranty but refused to honor it. The screen on our grand daughter's iPhone 6 was cracked. We paid for the repair and the screen became separated from the phone and broke again. We went back to get the repair fixed and were told that they do not cover physical damage and the phone must have been dropped. It wasn't. In response to the fact that their screen separated from the phone, we were told, "That sometimes happens." To who? We asked to speak to the owner and were told he was on a plane out of the country. Ziv, who owns Vcolor, helped me yesterday with my phone. I needed my protective screen re-placed but forgot to mention that I didn't want anti-glare, which is what most people want. When Ziv saw my disappointment he asked what was wrong. I said that I felt bad that I hadn't told him to put a clear screen on and I offered to pay for a new one. Horrible customer service; terrible diagosis by technicians; terrible repairs; do not stand by their work. Brought my I phone in as the screen was cracked; the phone was not working to the touch; and my home button was not fucntioning properly. Told the technician the issues; came back after dinner and the phone was fixed; the home button was working but intermittently. The technican told me the home button was fine and the phone was fixed. (Never mentioned any issue with the case or battery bulging). Got the phone home and almost immedialty the iphone screen was not responding properly In addition the home button continued to get less and less responsive. About a week went by and the phone continued to get worse so I took it back to have the technician look at it. He replaced the screen for me, told me that the frame of the phone was bent in the bottom left corner but if I put a case over the phone it would work fine. (never said anything about the battery bulging). T Took the phone home and sure enough same thing started happening but worse. Phone switched screens without touching it; phone started typing by itself; not responsive to touch and froze all of the time; Took the phone back again today. Third time. The technician took the phone apart again, put on a new screen; and could not get the screen back into the case. (the other technicians had no problem getting the phone into the case). She kept fumbling with the case taking it apart 3 time and each time the phone would not fit. She finally said to me. "Your battery has a bulge in it so the phone won't fit" "That is your problem" I asked her how much a new battery would be and she told me $40. I had lost complete faith in the company and the workers; plus I would have never fixed the phone in the first place if it was going to cost me $90. I asked the woman for my money back and she called her boss. Her boss just argued with me over the phone; told me that they don't give refunds; so I gave the phone back to the technician; told her to put my phone back together so I could leave. And that is what I did. Really a horrible experience. I have been in LA for 8 years; have worked in my real day job with tradesman; from my experience I swore I would never do business with anyone from the middle east. Friendship yes; Business NO. Thank god for these guys! My screen had cracked before and I got it replaced by another business. Several months later I dropped it again and it cracked. The next time I dropped it the screen randomly turned completely black. I took it to the Apple store who told me the previous screen repair people had ripped me off, and recommended VColor. Steve was able to replace my screen really fast, but also really well. He showed me the places the other guys had cut corners on (they did things like leave out screws), gave great service, and he usually throws in a screen cover for $5! read more

Super bummed on my experience here. Came here and got my cracked screen fixed for $100 which I was stoked for being cheaper than everywhere in the mall. A week down the line I go to sit down in class, and my KEYS crack the screen in my pocket. The crack itself wasn't bad, but the screen itself was so messed up that I couldn't do anything with my phone indicating bad glass. I take this up with Vcolor and they refuse to honor the warranty. I would understand if I dropped and broke it, but it was literally in my pocket with my keys. For spending $100 I would've hope they used quality stuff. Go elsewhere. read more

Broke my iPhone 5 screen while visiting and found this place on yelp while at the mall and hunted it down! He was very nice and said it would take 20 min so I went to a shop and came back less then 15 min later and he had it ready! It cost $115 with tax and everything along with a 6 month warranty.
