I gave them a detailed diagram of how I wanted the boat set up. They chose to set it up how they wanted rather than how I wanted it. I was lied to / conned by the maintenance manager. He said I couldn't hook both Mega's to the Solix. I ended up getting $1800 worth of equipment that I didn't need. I had to bring the boat back twice and the Mega's still don't work. Additionally, the work was sloppy. They did not run wire bundles through the wire cannels. They instead attached them to the outside. My boat looks terrible. I was met with arguments and a bad attitude because they screwed up. I paid $196 per hour for substandard work. They don't even respond to emails about the terrible work they performed or try to reconcile it. So far, only the trolling motor works (independent from the One boat Network). I have to bring my boat to another boat repair shop. I need to know the extend of their errored work and have someone else fix their mistakes. I will submit an updated post once the other maintenance folks tell me what else they did wrong. If you value your boat, time, and money, have your boat needs fulfilled elsewhere.

Unfortunally upon selling my Harris Crown 250 the new buy ran in to Marine max, Rogers, poor workmanship too. When the buyer of my boat did his inspection to put it in the water he found the prop nut was not tightened and the lock tabs were not bent up from the winterization done by MarineMax. In order to make my buyer happy I sent him $300 to have the oils change in the motor and lower unit, not trusting it was done right. He is 5 hour away and we did not want any problems. I contacted marine max and as usual, they would not credit the fall service I had to pay for again. I sent the pictures of the job not finished.

While our initial showroom experience was positive--Randy was helpful and attentive--the service quickly deteriorated after we made a deposit. Getting in touch with anyone became nearly impossible. Calls and messages went unanswered, forcing us to call multiple times just to get an answer and have to repeatedly visit the store in person just to complete basic steps that should have been handled in a single visit. Even then, things weren't ready as promised, and we couldn't take the boat home when expected due to the table not being installed. As first-time boat owners, we asked for a thorough walkthrough and some guidance, but were met with impatience and condescension. The "orientation" lasted only a couple of minutes, and staff seemed eager to rush us out rather than help. They couldn't even be bothered to stand outside and help get the trailer on the hitch. They also forgot to give us key items, including the boat cover and a necessary pole, which required multiple additional follow-ups that went unanswered, and another trip to the store. To make matters worse, customer service was outright hostile. After multiple attempts to resolve the missing pole, one associate called back and immediately became verbally aggressive that we are the problem and proceeded to hang up on us. We've never experienced this level of unprofessionalism. All we've asked for is returned phone calls, answers to our questions, and some support as new boat owners. Even after spending $40k with them, this is apparently too much to ask of Boat World, their owner, and associates.
