Half of the menu was pierogies and finding vegan options was a huge plus. The loaded pierogies were arguably better than the buffalo option. I'm partial because I am not a fan of buffalo sauce. The only con was the utensils were impossible to use. They kept on breaking and could not cut anything. Wish they had reusable options that were a little more sturdy. I asked my friend to get the gobbler for me since I knew I would not be able to get it. He got it on the last day it was available and it tasted fine. I could not believe it was vegan. It seems there has been a few misses here in the past but overall, it's a top vegan spot. There are places near me that offer a vegan gobbler too but I don't always notice. Community and pretty Internet pictures help a lot. Reading some of the owner's struggles and seeing her in full force now is very inspiring. I am grateful for the opportunity to be able to have some quality vegan food and to be able to support such strength without it feeling forced or unnatural for me. What could be "better"? A bigger place, more parking would be nice, more specific dates on when something is offered rather than me having to know the vibe that specials are likely Mon- Sat and Sun is likely no specials unless they happen to have that special leftover. This little corner eatery is amazing! Don't be fooled by the location across from a government building. It is awesome. Here's a bunch of reasons why. First reason is that it is 100% vegan. So, if you're veg, you can eat anything here! Second reason is that they have soft serve ice cream and milkshakes- ummm, yes and yes and more please! Third reason is that they have nachos and tacos!!!! Yessss! Fourth reason is that the portions are very generous- too generous if you're on any kind of calorie restricted regiment. Veg Out is yet another great hidden gem in Bethlehem that I'm so happy I found. I live an hour and 15 minutes away and it was well worth the drive. The menu is full of variety, with 100% vegan items ranging from burgers, to chicken sandwiches to pierogies. I don't think I've ever been to a vegan restaurant with this many options. Vegan or not, you will enjoy the delicacies here. We walked in just after they opened at 11am and slowly but surely, customers started rolling in. The employee at the register was kind enough to keep my order and my friend's order together even though we paid separately so our food would come out at the same time. We started out with the Big Mac Pierogies. SO FREAKIN GOOD. They tasted just like a Big Mac! I couldn't believe I was eating a meatless dish. I ordered the BBQ Ranch Chicken Sandwich. It came with a side of roasted potatoes. Overall, the portions here are fantastic. The sandwich itself was tasty - the only thing I was struggling with was eating it without making a mess. I had a hard time cutting it in half with the plastic knife and by the time I bit into the sandwich, half of the ingredients fell out into my plate. I asked for a to-go box so I could eat the other half (and the remains) later at home. My friend tried the Deluxe sandwich. Hers was a lot less messy but also looked very appetizing. This cute counter-service place has a very Bethlehem vibe. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing, with huge portions. I typically shy away from vegan meats and prefer vegetable based things or tofu, so I went with the tofu tacos - which were delicious, tender, well-seasoned and really big. The slaw and aioli on it were amazing. Prices reasonable especially for the portion sizes, you won't leave hungry. Some street parking is available, as well as plenty of parking meters up the side street. I recently went vegan, and this place met me at so much of my previous diet: Reuben, milkshake, donut. Everything was amazing especially the Reuben which was made with tofu. They marinated their tofu to perfection and the sauerkraut and 1000 island was on point. The shake was good. The flavor was cotton which may be least favorite of all flavors but I wanted to try it. Our experience at Veg Out was such a positive one. We ordered the BBQ Ranch Burger, basic Mac and Cheese, Loaded Pierogies, and Animal Fries. Usually when ordering a large assortment of items to try, there's one or two that usually don't quite live up to expectations. I can tell you right now that every item we had at Veg Out exceeded our expectations. The BBQ Ranch Burger was the perfect sized patty with a crunchy onion ring and just the right amount of pickles and ranch/bbq sauce with a fluffy bun. The Mac n Cheese was moist and firm on the inside with a bit of bite on the outside without being too crunchy and hard. The Loaded Pierogies had a great assortment of flavors melding together, and the pierogi itself held together firmly. The animal fries were really a potato cube/chunk with dressing and cheese sauce reminiscent of my time on the west coast with In-N-Out. Everyone there was extremely friendly and courteous. The place was beautifully lit with natural light from the outside and retro lighting on the inside. It was very clean, and the colors chosen for the walls left us feeling happy. I've been to a lot of vegan restaurants in the greater Philadelphia area and around, and I can honestly say this place stands up with the best of them. You won't be disappointed. read more

This is one of my fav new(ish) spots. I was nervous about a fully vegan menu, but plant-based food has come a long way. This stuff is great. The mac & cheese is surprisingly delicious. I had a tofu reuben that was incredible. The big mac hoagie made with "impossible" meat tasted like a fancy version of the McD's classic. All of the desserts are great, but their milkshakes are outstanding. The flavors vary each week, but they're amazing. There are also a million different ways to customize your food to accommodate dietary restrictions (such as gluten free). Regarding covid: you can place to-go orders over the phone or through social media (in advance). Pickup is at a window on the side of the building. I am speechless? Straight out of a yoga class that was led by an instructor that flung out the F word in full glee, my best friend and I knew we were in need of some healthy junk (ie: vegan food). So we drove out and waddled in here with our yoga pants and sore muscles and feasted. I *love* that this exists in Bethlehem, and I *love* the concept behind it. The food is delicious as well; the vegan cheese here is better than any I've had anywhere. And they have the Impossible Burger! (aka the best vegetarian burger option, of all time). The only reason for four stars instead of five is that we came here on a weeknight and waited almost forty-five minutes for food-- a sandwich and a burger. That alone wouldn't be terrible, except that we watched as three other parties came in well into our wait, ordered, and got their food during that time. I asked about the wait and I was told just that we came in during a big rush (though this didn't explain the order in which the food came out).
