We stopped by on a Sunday morning and there was no wait! The interior is cutely decorated and festive for Halloween. Our waitress was so sweet and we loved her. We got the hot chocolate, blackberry grilled cheese, and all wrapped up. My boyfriend loved hot chocolate since it was very chocolatey. However, the food was just alright. The grilled cheese was nice and crispy, but I couldn't taste any blackberry in the sandwich at all unfortunately. Interesting place at the Silk, a converted silk mill complex. The room was light and airy with a decor that seemed aimed at kids. The service was friendly, but it was difficult to get the waitress's attention once the orders were placed. The brunch sandwich was good, but the omelette special left quite a bit to be desired, it was flat and bland. The potato side tasted old and stale. The side order of bacon wasn't anything special. This place is seriously a vibe. It's super clean, beautifully decorated with exposed brick and those huge floor-to-ceiling windows -- just a really cool atmosphere overall. My server was awesome, super friendly. I tried the Caramel Crunch and Nutty Banana iced coffees -- both were so good and not overly sweet, which I loved. For food, I got the Gabriele Special (French toast with peanut butter, bananas, and strawberries) and it was honestly amazing. I also grabbed a side of eggs and breakfast potatoes -- everything hit. The great thing Raven 96 going for it is Jonathan, their server. Other than that, there is little to cheer about when it comes to getting breakfast. The coffee is bitter and luke warm. The omelets have too much cheese and little meat. Toast is white and dry and you must request butter. The potatoes are fairly decent. To try and find something worth celebrating about our lackluster meals, my friend and I decided to share a short stack of gingerbread pancakes. Although the presentation once again had little aesthetic value, they were hot and fluffy and moist, even though there was absolutely no hint of gingerbread to be found in the taste. Two omelets and one pancake stack and one cup of coffee came to $50. Definitely not worth the price for such a low quality breakfast. Raven 96 can certainly become something amazing but they have much work to do in presentation and flavor and value. If we had known we could have gone to a diner to get a better breakfast we would have returned to nearby Williams Family Restaurant or Diner 248 that know what they are doing. read more

We were excited to come here as we love any and all breakfast spots and heard a lot about the Raven through IG. The place is inside the old Easton Silk Mill and was so cool inside. Love that industrial look that defines the Lehigh Valley so well! I ordered the Eggs Benedict and my wife had the Hangover Quesadilla and we split the classic pancakes. I did not enjoy my meal here at all. The service was great and that was it. The ambiance was odd - sort of Barbie Dream-house meets warehouse loft. The music was club bangers which we did not find relaxing for breakfast. The coffee was bad (the Keurig coffee we had at our hotel was better) and the food was all disappointing. My spicy omelet and home fries were overly salty. I paid extra for brioche toast which came unbuttered and was dry and not worth it. My son got pancakes that he enjoyed but were not light or fluffy. It reminded me of something you would whip up with whatever you find in the cupboard and wonder why you don't eat this everyday!!! The service was fine. The staff was super busy but tried to keep up. Our server was stretched this so I would give a pass on that days performance and see how it goes next time. The place itself was a little sterile and lacked a warm, cozy atmosphere to match the food. All and all it would be an easy decision to go back again. The Raven 96 is an attempt to blend a fast paced city environment in the hills of Easton, PA. The restaurant's sheik design, along with open floor plan make me feel like I am in West Palm Beach, Florida rather than Easton, PA. The coffee that they serve is what I would deem "millennial style" straight out of a ticktock video serving a variety of fun flavors in a mason jar. The food itself is good, and dense so it left me feeling satisfied but I struggle to get behind the high prices. The quality of the food I felt just wasn't there to justify the high menu prices. What really gets me about this business is they have rules during peak wait times. If you go during a busy day you are only allowed 75 minutes, they have seating maximums, and they don't let you customize when it is busy. While I enjoy that they move customers in and out allowing many different people to taste their food, if I'm paying high prices I want to be able to enjoy a meal with my family and friends and not feel like I'm rushed against a clock or feel like I cant have exactly what I want due to lack of staff. This isn't a top tier sushi omakase... its breakfast in the country. To the owners of this restaurant one thing I think you could do to improve business is provide a little nook where I can get more of a coffee shop vibe during the week. The Raven 96 makes good looking coffee consider letting customers enjoy that coffee without having to pay for a full meal or even feeling obligated to provide a tip. I visited mid week and the resturant was bare in terms of customers, with only one server. Consider creating a place where people can bring their laptops and get some work done, without having the elegance of a open concept restaurant during the non busy operation hours. I probably will be going back but not frequently. This is a great once in a blue moon place when you want something slightly more fast paced in a slow town. read more

Never got seated. Was told it would be a 40 minute wait. After an hour was told it would be another 20-30 minute wait. Would've like to try the food, but will pass on it now. Others were seated after us, are their food, and left and we were still in waiting area. Will not being trying this again. The Raven 96- what can I say? The atmosphere inside alone makes up for everything. The service? Impeccable. To speak of which, this morning, I went inside under the impression that the establishment opened at 7 AM-- to which I found out that they changed their hours the night prior. That was no problem for the kind woman (the owner) who said she understood and was deeply sorry about the misunderstanding of schedule changes. So, I sat-- to which I was greeted with a menu, and beverages. The lovely server came over and took my order despite the establishment still not being open quite yet. Our food came out quick. I got myself the Gingerbread pancakes and my friend got the strawberry shortcake pancakes. The gingerbread taste came to me right away, and I wholeheartedly believe it was the best pancake I've ever bitten into. My friend agrees, they loved their strawberry shortcake pancakes just as much. A friend and I recently visited the Raven 96 in Easton, we came from NYC. Upon entering the restaurant, we noticed every table was taken and the lobby had close to 40 people waiting - we didn't think we would get in after a long drive. The service team is exceptional, tables are turned over incredibly fast, and we sat in 40 mins, albeit were quoted 1 hour. Once inside, you can see why people wait to get in, the vibe is electric, staff is super friendly and most importantly the food is delicious. The opportunity for photos is abundant, many people took pics by the greenery wall. We split the pancake flights (incredible), and both had the mushroom burger special. This place was definitely worth the ride and wait, we will be back again soon. read more
