Leslie is a gracious, chatty person who puts you immediately at ease. No small feat when the subject is ripping your hair out by the roots. She is careful and keeps me talking, laughing and sufficiently distracted so our time together goes quickly and smoothly. The hairdressers at the salon do a brisk business, but I've not had the opportunity to patronize them. It is hypnotic watching them at their craft though. I HOPE they clean the actual table but I tried not to think about it during the wax.. I walked out with hair still on me and had to clean it up myself when I got home. I had an awful experience with Dr Sherman and his staff. I booked an appt. for a consultation for…read morepico laser to remove my hyper-pigmentation/ brown spots which was offered at $50 off. I was pressured to have the treatment during this visit and agreed to. There was no numbing gel provided and I had to tell the doctor several times to STOP as it was excruciatingly painful. My face was so red, swollen and painful that I waited a full week before calling the office. I could see the laser had scooped sections off my nose that left my pores enlarged, something I never had before. PLUS there were areas across my face where the doctor's application of the laser was done unevenly and it was very visible. The staff who answered was not responsive and would not allow me to speak with the doctor. She said they were understaffed. I decided to send photos so they could see the damage. I have remained indoors and worn sunblock and wide hats daily and the treatment only left me with scars but did NOT remove or even lessen the brown patches. I also never was credited back the $50 I was promised. It has been one year now and even though I avoid the sun, wear Elta and Obagi sunblock and wide SPF hats I still have the brown spots/splotches and the scars Dr Sherman gave me during his treatment. In his own words, Dr Sherman said he used that laser for tattoo removals but he still used it giving me confidence it would work. I would NOT go to Dr Sherman for hyper-pigmentation or brown spot removal with lasers. Save your money and drive to a larger office where this service is done regularly, has proven results and the staff is professional and attentive. You will not get this at Dr Sherman's office. I wasted a lot of money and look worse now. I am very disappointed.

So my year is finally up. I signed up for my membership after my first appointment. I was taken to…read morea room to discuss my options. They were friendly but a little pushy on signing you up. Which I get it is a business after all. Anyway it's 39 dollars for your first massage. I usually tip 10 for an hour but I gave her 20 because it was an amazing massage and It was so cheap the first time around. Anyway I came back monthly and loved it every time. Other than one time I was taken to a room in the back near their lunch room I guess and it was so loud. I could hear them talking and the door open and close. Not so relaxing. So I started getting their facials too for an additional 39.99 I think. They use Murad products. I was glowing and so relaxed every time I left my appointment. They are flexible with their schedule. I usually got the last appointment during the weekdays(9pm). They close at 10pm which I loved. But what I hate is that it's only 50 minutes instead of a full hour on the table. And sometimes they had me waiting more than 5 minutes to come in. It doesn't take 10 minutes to get dressed and undressed. Get out of here. Anyway overall I was pleased with my year of monthly massages and facials. I loved everyone I encountered there. The front desk is always so nice. It's in a busy shopping center. Good parking. Nice waiting room for members. Flexible scheduling. Sometimes they have you waiting a little past your appointment which I didn't like too much, but they have to clean the rooms so I understood. They offer water and/or tea. Very clean. They use great products and have good hygienic protocol, which is a must for me. Heated blankets on tables which I loved. Nice soothing music playing. Great place to go for a decent price.
