    Swamp Fries
    Matt P.

My first true introduction to vegan food and I was quite impressed. I got food from the Vegan Gator food truck when it came to North Florida Regional Medical Center one day at lunch. I ordered the Swamp Fries, which are french fries smothered in cajun seasoning, buffalo sauce, cheese sauce, green onions, and herbs. It was the perfect combination of crispy, crunchy, creamy, and savory flavors. I would definitely them order again, as well as try other things from the Vegan Gator menu.

Friendly service and super quick despite the growing line when we visited. The Siiikedelick Mushroom Burger - one of the BEST vegan burgers I've had! It's hard to mess up a burger and even harder to make one noteworthy, and the sauteed mushrooms + mushroom gravy are what make this burger really stand out. Absolutely DRENCHED in deliciousness. Even if you're not the biggest fan of mushrooms, I think you'll still love this one. The Swamp Fries are basically buffalo smothered style fries with a hint of some Cajun kick so if you're a fan of spice and buffalo flavor, you can't go wrong with em. I think the poutine fries may have paired well better with my burger - will find out next time we're in town!

I wanted to love this food truck but the fries I got just didn't have a lot of flavor. I got the poutine fries and it was pretty bland. I wish I had gotten the truffle or Cajun fries, because those would probably have had more taste. I got a rosemary blueberry lemonade. It was a flavor combination that I've never had before. I thought that was pretty good and refreshing.

The food truck came to my apartment complex and I decided to check it out. The Mushroom burger was really good and the patty tasted better than an Impossible patty. The burger was saucy, but a little salty. The swamp fries were very interesting and had a vegan cheese that was more of a sauce. I wish it had more of the vegan buffalo sauce, but it was still really tasty. For both, I paid about $20 so it was a little pricey, but I'm glad to support a local owned business. The people were really nice and I could tell they work hard serving in a timely manner in a food truck.

VEGAN SHRIMP this mouthwatering "old bay shrimp poutine" was beyond my wildest vegan dreams. I still don't know how they made it taste just like shrimp. If you're ever in Gainesville make Vegan Gator the first stop on your list

Found this new restaurant and was blown away. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a man (I assume he's the owner) he was very friendly and the service was great, he helped describe some of the items on the menu. The portion sizes were fantastic and the flavors were phenomenal! Our order was freshly made in under 15 minutes. I got the Surf & Turf burger and the shrimp were so realistic looking. My friend got the Siiikedelik Mushroom Burger and he said that it was one of the best vegan burgers he's ever had, I would have to say the same for mine as well. We also got the White Truffle & rosemary fries and WOW were they good! The garlic aioli on top of the fries was what made the fries so delicious. Definitely will be going back to try some of the other options on the menu. 10/10 recommend!

This is GREAT vegan food from a food truck! I'm so impressed by the amount of vegan options there are in Gainesville. Their poutine fries are just amazing and so delectable! They have tons of new items weekly/monthly and sell out quick! I'm still dying to try their Chick'n Sandwich.

Some of the best vegan food I've tried in town. We got the Siikadelic mushroom burger, the Veganator Patty Melt and the Poutine Fries. I recommend going back and trying everything on this menu!

They offer a nice variety of poke bowls, salad bowls, sushi burritos, and boba. You can order one of their bowls or opt to create your own. The inside is pretty clean and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. The service is attentive, efficient, and welcoming. The portion sizes are great, especially considering the price too! I ended up ordering creating my own poke bowl with a zucchini noodle base instead of rice. They have a great selection of different proteins to choose from including scallops, ahi tuna, salmon poke, shrimp, etc. I opted for the ahi tuna and salmon poke. The topping selection doesn't disappoint either. I decided on seaweed salad, avocado, kani salad, edamame, scallions, and bean sprouts. For my dressing/sauce, I went with the citrus ponzu. Which was a soy based sauce, a little lighter than the mayo based ones. This bowl was heavenly. The fish and seaweed was really fresh, as well as the other ingredients. The zucchini noodles were nice and had a good consistency. This bowl was just so refreshing and healthy. It had a nice balance between the proteins and various vegetables. I really have nothing but great things to say about it! Overall, Poke Station is a really good poke spot in Gainesville. The price point is unbeatable, especially considering their portion sizes. The fish and other ingredients were very fresh with good quality. My bowl had great flavor and I left full and satisfied. I cannot wait to return and look forward to trying more on their menu in the future!

The venue is on A1A, right by St Augustine Beach. This was our first time there. They serve food but we had dinner beforehand, so we only had drinks. It's a nice little venue though. The show itself was awesome and Mick was so nice to meet afterwards! Why am I giving a 5 star review when we didn't even try their food? I'm at fortunate to know a few people that many would consider to be famous in the world of music. I have tagged along with them when they've done meet & greets at venues of various sizes from hundreds of fans to thousands of fans. Many, MANY venues handle these things very poorly. It ends up leaving fans feel as if the artist doesn't care about them when it's actual the venue that is unprepared and/or is treating the fans that dirt. That was absolutley NOT the case at Cafe Eleven. Every person we encountered from the staff seemed genuinely concerned with making sure the fans had a good experience. For us, this started a week prior when they took the time to email us to double check something about our order because our order was a bit odd. My wife paid for part of the order and our friends paid for the other half. The venue actually took the time to reach out to make sure we knew everything needed to match up. We did know that ahead of time but the fact that they even bothered was a touch I don't think I've ever heard of another venue taking the time to do. Well done Cafe Eleven! Based on that alone, I wouldn't think twice about driving down from Jacksonville next time there's an event at Cafe Eleven that I'm interested in.

There's lots of yummy sweets in the bakery like chiffon cake, cheesecake, basque cheesecake, cream puffs, burst cake, mochi, crepe cake, french macarons, and more. It's near the Enson Market. It wasn't too loud inside and there were plenty of places to sit. I think it would be a great place for a date or to meet up with friends. My order: The matcha green tea w. coconut milk (no boba). I also tried the tiramisu mousse cake. The green tea was really tasty, the tiramisu mousse was just okay IMO. Why I left a four star review: There weren't a lot of dairy-free milk options, the price point was a tad high, and there are too many other boba tea shops in Gainesville with a better price point and flavors.

So the fact that I'm giving this place 5 stars means this place is stellar. It's not a place I would even expect to exist in a small place like Gainseville, let alone be THIS GOOD. BUT this place is THAT GOOD. The cakes were all LA tier, maybe even Taiwan/China tier, which is Saying SOMETHING!!! I travel a lot and my experience with asian stores in small towns has always been subpar. It might look authentic, etc but then the taste will disappoint and I'm reminded why the 626 in LA is known as an Asian food haven. But this store tasted straight out of the 626. I walked in looking for Asian desserts because I can only go so long existing on wypipo food tbh. I noticed there's a nice new Chinese market next door and the staff inside was all Chinese, speaking Mandarin - very encouraging. I looked at the cakes. They looked legit! Real Asian cake store level. But I still told myself to lower my expectations with the taste so I wouldn't be disappointed later. I bought four cakes and two drinks. Would have bought food too but their kitchen was closed (I came 30 mins before closing). Tbh, the drinks are just fine. I've had better, these were a tiny bit watered down - but still decent. The guava and lychee flavors we got were very prevalent and there was a fresh lime slice in mine. But the cakes!!! The cakes are 5 star. The cakes are LA worthy. TAIPEI worthy. What is this store doing in Gainseville?? I sure hope they survive. I have to come back to Gainseville often for medical events, so - I will be coming to this store EACH TIME. Please, please stay open for me. ;) The cakes are perfectly light, soft, not too sweet. (If you know Asian desserts you'll know what I'm talking about). The mochi layers inside were perfectly done, sweet, smooth, very QQ. Everything from the injeolmi flavor to taro paste to mango gelatin layers - all the flavors were there in just the right way. The textures - perfect. Lady M can't compete with the crepe cakes. The basque was cooked to PERFECTION. The mochi round cakes - like eating Taro clouds. This is not an amateur bakery, folks. This bakery know what they're doing. You have a gem here, Gainseville. I literally logged into Yelp to leave this review for them. Please do yourself a favor and try their cakes - Try them ALL. Experience the beauty of Asian desserts. I feel like every single thing here will be done perfectly. I know I'm gonna keep coming back to try more!
