We will be getting a Peach Valley Cafe in our hometown fairly soon. We were in Gainesville and saw this location, so decided to try it to see if it would be worth a visit when the new location opens. We had never been to one, but it definitely passed the test! We ordered online and the menu is so vast. It was hard to choose. My husband got the biscuits and gravy (amazing) and I got a bacon and cheese omelette (huge and equally amazing)! We also ordered grits (OMG) and apple fritter barrels (meh). The items were packed with care, even extra butter for the grits and biscuits were included, and everything was exactly as ordered. My husband went in to pick up our breakfast and said it's really cute inside. Now we have a new restaurant to look forward to, but may just have to make the drive to Gainesville again before ours opens locally. It was that good! read more

My party arrived on probably the busiest shift of the restaurant's life (Sunday, August 16, day after almost all the undergrads in Gainesville move in) around 1:50pm, with their closing time being 2:30pm. Initially, the hostess told us the kitchen was closed and they were no longer seating, but after another party walked in after us, she changed her mind, said we needed to order as quickly as possible, and sat us. Granted, we of course would've left because we understand it's getting closer to closing and we wanted to respect that, but it was a strange switch up, and we saw her sit multiple other groups after us well up until 2:15pm, so I wonder what that was about. I'm not docking anything, though, because I'm sure she was trying to look out for the team and the chaos they had probably been through all morning, and understand as a service worker you'd probably not want another party coming in anyways 40 minutes before close. Because of this, we tried to order as fast as we possibly could, but our waitress was incredibly kind, patient, and told us to take our time. It was again, very interesting with the vibe change. Regardless, we ordered quickly, and our food came out within 5 minutes, and was great. I got the club sandwich, and enjoyed every bite of it. The fries felt fresh and were extremely crisp, and everyone else in my party enjoyed their food too. Our waitress was sweet, attentive, and our food was delicious. I'd love to go back on a different day, especially earlier in the morning, and get a full experience of the restaurant. We left at 2:35pm (not the last table left, thankfully), so a rapid in and out, and we very much appreciate the staff for still serving us and treating us with respect, even on what I'm sure was a very stressful Sunday. read more

Amazing Service from Sam! I had the pleasure of being served by Sam a few days ago and I can't say enough good things about the experience! From the moment we sat down, Sam was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. They had great recommendations, kept our drinks topped off without us having to ask, and made sure everything came out just right. I was pleasantly surprised after coming here for brunch today! Hands down, I recommend the Valley Fiesta Rancheros, the flavors were bursting on my tongue. It had chorizo sausage, avocado, diced tomatoes, an egg, and their jalapeño chili sauce which added the perfect sweet and slightly spicy kick. I love how big the portions are for each plate, and the prices are so affordable! The vegetable and egg croissant Benedict was pretty good and very filling. Also, the apple fritters were the perfect amount of sweetness. As someone who doesn't have the biggest sweet tooth, they did well in making it not overwhelmingly sweet. Peach Valley Cafe is in my opinion one of the best places for breakfast in Gainesville Florida. Personally, I've been wanting to try this place out since researching which restaurants to try in Gainesville. We had breakfast the day before the wedding 3 weeks ago and I can say everyone was impressed by this restaurant. The Apple fritters were so light and crunchy and served with a yogurt base which helped balance it out. The Chicken and waffles were amazing and served with a blueberry butter With creamy grits and home fries were the best combination and absolutely wonderful taste. We were seated quickly on a late Saturday morning which was great. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was served quickly. The Apple fritters with strawberry yogurt were good - worth ordering. The chicken and waffles with blueberry butter had a nice spice on the chicken and the blueberry and syrup helped cut the heat. Visiting UF Small Animal Clinic and we had to wait for our furbaby to be done. We were looking for a good place for breakfast... The staff suggested that we try this place, but don't forget to order the apple fritters! We checked it out and couldn't have been happier. Peach Valley Cafe is a chain restaurant that is quickly expanding throughout Florida. This restaurant chain specializes in that increasing niche of somewhat upscale breakfast places that offer a different option than the greasy spoon diner options that many of us have always looked for when looking to go out for a fine breakfast. Let me preface this by saying that there is nothing wrong with the breakfasts in greasy spoon diners. In fact, some of my most memorable meals have been in greasy spoon diners. However, it is nice to have an option to the traditional greasy spoon diner. Peach Valley Cafe has a pretty inclusive menu. You cannot go wrong with one of their omelets. Service here is friendly and professional and the ambiance is definitely a great place to enjoy a meal. I would definitely recommend here. Overall, I will give it four stars. read more

Peach Valley is one of my favorite breakfast spots to go to in Gainesville. Always excellent and friendly service, it may be crowded on weekends, but the staff moves efficiently. If you take the time to wait, you will be rewarded with an excellent breakfast. I almost always get the Eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce is always made well, eggs are always perfectly poached, and I love that the English Muffin stays crisp and not soggy. The breakfast potatoes that come with the meal are deliciously crispy on the outside and taste even better with a dash of Peach Valley's hot sauce. Overall, fantastic place :) read more

This place is a solid 3 stars to me. I've been here a couple of times and each time I've had a very mediocre experience. There is always a wait here. If you come during the weekend, expect to wait up to an hour. Last time I came here on a Tuesday morning and had to wait 20 minutes. I don't mind waiting, but I didn't expect it to be busy during a weekday. Last time I visited here, I ordered the traditional eggs Benedict. It was really disappointing. The hollandaise sauce was not good at all. It tasted oddly sour and not like a traditional eggs Benedict. Eggs Benedict is my go-to brunch option, but it was probably the worst eggs Benedict I've had. I thought the price was very average for an eggs Benedict but it wasn't worth it since it wasn't good. The potatoes on the other hand, were the best potatoes I've had in a while! I loved how crispy they were. I would definitely order just a plate of potatoes next time. I live in Miami and was looking for a breakfast/brunch place and a friend recommended Peach Valley Café. A few minutes drive from our air bnb and wait was only 15 minutes after a 35 minute expectation. Warm environment, our server was Emily who was very efficient and recommended several options. I have tried the French toast, pancakes, burger, egg and bacon sandwich and my personal dish and favorite was the croissant philly with eggs Benedict: a unique and authentic flavor! Parking is hard to find right in front of the restaurant but it's located in a shopping plaza so if you don't mind a 40 step walk this is your place. They also have expresso if you're into having more than regular coffee, prices are extremely good. Definitely a family place. read more

We tried Peach Valley this morning and she was happy but I was not. Her eggs Benedict was awesome and she has an amazing pallet, so I believe her. My chicken and waffles on the other hand... overcooked and dry chicken coupled with overcooked and dry waffles. The syrup and butter was a must to grease the pipes so the aforementioned could just get down. Disappointing to say the least coupled with a $5 cup of OJ. A Gainesville classic for brunch. Whenever I want to grab breakfast with my friends I always come here - Peach Valley has comfort southern food served with really friendly servers. My favorite items to get at this restaurant are the apple fritters and the chicken and waffles. I've had a lot of other delicious things on their menu but those two are consistently good. The apple fritters come as little fried balls of apple and dough. The server will shake them up in a bag to coat them with sugar. You can enjoy the fritters by dipping them in a cold strawberry yogurt sauce - I would definitely recommend this appetizer for first timers here! The only menu items I didn't like so much were the mimosas and the biscuits with gravy. The latter I felt like I could make at home and the presentation was pretty off putting. The glass of mimosa tasted very cheap and just not what I was expecting; it wasn't very cold when it got to my table either. Like many brunch places, you can expect higher prices and a huge line. A plate of food is around $11 and you can expect to wait over an hour if the restaurant is busy. However, the great thing about Peach Valley is that you can make reservations ahead of time. So, definitely think about calling ahead if you do not want to wait in a line. The busiest times are, of course, weekend mornings. read more

Not pictured but we got the Caramel Iced Coffee, we're super picky with coffee and found this one to be really good. The food was awesome, the only complaints we had were that the eggs needed a lot of salt and the biscuit was a tad dry since it was so big, one of the bigger potatoes weren't cooked throughly but the rest was amazing and those things wouldn't stop me from eating there again. It's a joke amongst my group of friends that we identify ourselves based on our favorite brunch restaurant in Gainesville and mine is definitely Peach Valley! If nothing else, the Apple Fritters are the best thing I've ever had, but I also love the general ambiance of the restaurant and the menu has so many delicious and different options! It is so much food for only 6 dollars. The potatoes are so crispy but are still soft on the inside and the biscuit is really good with a fat dollop of butter. -Catherine Chicken and waffles: I got the chicken and waffles with regular butter substituted for the blueberry butter because I was worried about the flavor combination. I ended up not using any of the butter at all because the waffle itself was so moist and delicious. The serving size of the chicken was perfect and there was a sufficient ratio of waffle to chicken. From the glowing reviews, I was expecting much more from Peach Valley for brunch. The breakfast and brunch menu is only one page with not much to offer at all. We had a half order of Apple Fritters ($2.50), which were four small donut holes covered in cinnamon and sugar, served with a side of strawberry yogurt. They tasted like donut holes. The Mimosas are $4.95, but we were not willing to go there due to the night before. Small glass of OJ $2.35, the cost of a carton of the same. The Vegetable Egg Croissant Benedict ($8.85) was not impressive and was served up more as a sandwich. Inside were two poached eggs, two pieces of asparagus, some pan fried purple onion, and a slice of tomato. So you have to open it up and move the other poached egg and toppings over to make a Benedict statement and eat it as such. It came with a thimble of unripe fruit and a side of dry potatoes. The Belgian Waffle ($5.70) is exactly that, a waffle on a plate for $5.70. If you want three pieces of floppy bacon with that, that will be $2.75, almost a dollar per piece. $23.73 before tip. For a good breakfast for the same price, go to the Jones for a more interesting food experience. I would compare the flavor here to IHOP with jacked-up prices. Their lunch and dinner menu appears to be as impressive as Panera, but I do not think that I will be going back here to find out. read more

One of my favorite breakfast spots in Gainesville. If you are coming on the weekend you can expect to have a long wait (sometimes over an hour), this place gets busy. I normally order one of the omelettes which come with breakfast potatoes and toast. The omelettes aren't anything too special but they are good and get the job done. They have a great peach hot sauce thats not that spicy but goes really well with many of the meals. If you've never tried apple fritters, make sure to give them a try here. They come with a strawberry dipping sauce and basically taste like a fried donut. Also for coffee lovers, their caramel iced coffee is absolutely amazing. The service can be a bit slow here especially when it's busy, but you can usually count on getting a solid meal. read more

I'm always very impressed with the service at Peach Valley. A group of us have a tradition of getting brunch here at the end of each semester. There's about 15 of us, and Peach Valley is always willing to accommodate our big group. Besides service, the food always arrives quickly and is made with good quality. I love getting the picker's basket. It's a very filling portion, great for the price given. Don't forget to top it with some of that good peach hot sauce that's on every table! I have been taken here when I visit Gainesville and Mother's Day was another instance. It looks like a great idea but poorly executed. The original may have been great but as they expand (anyway here) the implementation is bad. We had a party of six with a 15 minute wait (totally acceptable). Now the table is ready with six menus on the table and no one seats us. I ask if we can be seated since the table is obviously ready and we are the only party of six waiting. The answer is "I am not sure". They go to check. We finally seat ourselves. The ordering process goes well, in fact it was encouraging. The server was accommodating to orders that were not exact matches to the menu. Food finally comes, it is cold. Most members of the party politely eat theirs. One member sent theirs back. We were done eating by the time their warm food arrived. We are talking so cold that soft warm whipped butter was not melting while on top of French toast. Also food cooked poorly, poached eggs with yolk hard boiled. The only joy of breakfast was the apple fritters. They have a great menu but quality is lacking. read more

I always get the two egg breakfast with a biscuit and some of their pepper sauce to go on top of the potatoes. I will forever be shocked at the amount of people that eat at this restaurant. This has to be the worst breakfast in Gainesville. We both orders the eggs Benedict and it was absolutely disgusting. The eggs were over cooked and the hollandaise was cloyingly thick but with no flavor. It was like hot mayonnaise and made me want to throw up. Of course we couldn't tell any of this to our waitress as she was never around and before she delivered our food, she was rude and apparently only spoke in one word sentences. We had a baby in a high chair with us and she also would only put things like hot coffee, glasses of water, knives, etc. in front of the baby trying to grab for everything.
