Saw photos of Vegan Junk Food Bar online and with positive reviews decided to check it out on our trip to Amsterdam. It's a chain so there are several of them sprinkled throughout the city. This one seemed less busy compared to the others. We ordered the sumo burger, chickn burger, onion rings and truffle fries. They were out of the pink aioli so I opted for the garlic sauce. It's a bright space that makes eating vegan food fun and easy! The only downfall was that it took a long time for us to get our food, almost 40 mins, and the restaurant wasn't even at max capacity. Something about their system messing up and there were a bunch of deliverers coming to pick up food. Pretty much everyone was waiting. They should definitely give priority to guests dining in. The worker didn't apologize for the long wait. Good thing we didn't come too hungry... Bedsides the wait, the food was tasty. My chickn burger was crunchy and a great alternative to meat. Loved this place! It's very popular and we had to wait for an hour for a table. It was definitely worth the wait though! The various mains and desserts we had were all great and the presentation was really cool. The 'Bulk X Mark Schadenberg' was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! The 'Tropic Thunder' cocktail was awesome too. It is so appreciated that there is a vegan place out here to help meat-eaters and vegans a like eat less animals.
