He works very fast; we had the report later that evening, which we sent over to the supervisor of the home builders. This gives them time to go over it and fix everything Mike finds. Contacted another home inspector prior, but they were going on vacation, so he even recommended Mike as well, saying he is very good. He allowed us to be present during the inspection; we gave him space so he could work and we wouldn't be hovering over him. Since we were there after he was done, he would show me things and tell me things. I had a few questions, and he answered everything and gave me a lot of helpful tips on what to expect as a new homeowner and what to look out for out here in this area. Like what are more common things and things we should do as preventive maintenance and such.

Mike is professional, knowledgeable, and extremely thorough. His reports are detailed and comprehensive, complete with clear photos, explanations, and practical recommendations. He identifies both major and minor issues that most homeowners wouldn't even know to look for. His pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the peace of mind he provides, which is invaluable when you're purchasing a $500,000 home. Don't assume you don't need an inspection just because your home is newly built. Having an expert like Mike on your side makes all the difference. He sent the report to both us and the builder. By the time of my walkthrough, the builder's superintendent already had the report in hand and walked me through everything they had corrected based on Mike's findings, all before the walkthrough even took place. I'm truly grateful for Mike's expertise and highly recommend his services.

David is the owner of AllTech, and he performs the inspections. That was a big part of why I chose him to perform my home inspection. "I will inspect that home as if I'm buying it." He arrived on time. His inspection was very thorough. He acted in a professional manner with an easygoing attitude, and he is an honest man. His detailed report was presented the same day, hours after the inspection ended. His rate is not the lowest and it's not the highest. I highly recommend this business. My rating is 5.0.

Then later discovered that our electrical panel was a fire hazard and that it needs to be replaced. I told the seller, and he was shocked too because his seller before didn't tell him! And their home inspector prior did not know. I have heard from a few friends that their home inspector did not do their job well. One literally had a leak and mold all over his bathroom and it was never caught. If you want a TRUSTED home inspector. Hire David from alltech home inspection. He was able to explain to me how he was able to figure out what was an issue and what is not. This made me very confident on my house purchase. Finally after the inspection, he gave me a good rundown of all the things I needed to look out for and answered all my questions. Also, super cool guy

I have security cameras inside my home so I reviewed the footage of the inspector from the master bedroom and found that the inspector never physically got under the sink to view a leak. He simply stuck his camera under the sink and snapped a couple photos and walked away. The inspector also stated that the air conditioner was not putting out adequate cold air however my home is freezing cold and even my real estate agent said that the inspector is wrong. I placed a phone call to the inspector and asked if he could come out and show me what was wrong and he refused to do it without me paying for an additional inspection. When I asked the inspector where the leak was under the sink cabinet he didn't know and told me that he took a photo which I clearly saw him do but does not point out where any leak is. Everything was checked under the sink and everything was completely dry and free of leaks. In the inspectors notes he also stated that the shower nozzle was leaking however after checking on this, very little water was dripping out from the bathtub spout while the shower water was running which I found was perfectly normal as most bathtub spouts do not stop 100% of the water from dripping. It wasn't even worth noting however I did the research and found that most bathtub spouts do not stop 100% of the water from dripping while the shower is running. The inspector even went as far as circling bird poop outside on the patio rug.....lol Not very good

His knowledge, attention to detail, and professionalism were evident throughout the entire process. Having bought and sold many homes over the years, I can honestly say I've never worked with an inspector who was more knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. The detailed report and excellent communication gave us confidence in moving forward with our purchase. I highly recommend Spectrum Home Inspection, and especially Jemic, to anyone looking for a trustworthy and experienced home inspector. We will absolutely be using them again for our next home purchase.

I called my home warranty company for an extremely foul smell of sewage, sulfar and rotten eggs from my kitchen sink and dishwasher. The warranty company charged me $75 and sent a plumber out. The claim was denied because the plumber said that the P-trap and other plumber from the garbage disposal was installed incorrectly. I called spectrum and had to leave of message of why this was missed durning the inspection. I received a call back from Lynn and she stated that this plumbing was not visible during the inspection. This same plumbing was visible for the plumber that was sent from the warranty company. I have included pictures from the inspection that plumbing is visible especially if you move your head around to see it. Which should be part of the inspectors duty. Lynn tells me in her message that this is an easy fix. I wouldn't have to worry about this if it was caught during the inspection. So now I am out $75 that I paid the home warranty company plus whatever I will have to pay someone else to come in and fix. The bottom line is that I paid spectrum good money to inspect and point out these issues and they did not fulfill their end of the deal and now I have to pay for it. In the pictures that I provided from the spectrum inspection, the plumber is clearly visible. Please seek a better home inspection company.

SAVED US A FORTUNE!!…read more Bill is a gift to the homebuyer. Thankfully, he spent 7.5 hours on an incredibly difficult home. The seller had not been honest in their SRPD (Disclosure statement) and Bill caught them out on many, MANY health and safety issues. Had we purchased the home, we'd have found ourselves in a money pit, thanks to what he found. I can see how some might find him crusty; he knows his sh** and doesn't hold back. Our Seller was so pissed that Bill found issues, he actually threatened us if "you don't get off my property right the f*** now. Bill took it in stride, and explained that the seller was angry because Bill was uncovering areas that the Seller had tried to hide. Later, the well inspector confirmed what Bill had told us about the well/bladder/plumbing. Later still the solar company confirmed what Bill had told us about the roof, and provided evidence that the Seller had not been forthcoming. Still again later, we were given multiple roof replacement estimates that were aligned with what Bill thought they might have cost. Bill is the go-to guy. OK, maybe he's crusty. Maybe he's painfully forthright. But he's honest, and is the dishonest seller's worst nightmare. He knows what to look for, and dives right in, and does so respectfully to the homeowner. His methodology is spot-on. FWIW, we hired Bill for a second inspection on a different home, as we were unable to work out terms on the first, nightmare home where he found nearly 200 pages worth of issues.
