I am so appreciative of the service I received from April recently. My elderly parents had roof damage after the strong wind storm in February, They have a really nice guy, Heron, who came over to inspect and measure and turned in the info for an estimate. Owner, John, had a quick turnaround of the estimate for us and insurance. The only delay was weather, more wind and rain but Heron took care of my parents and the roof looks great. Being a real estate agent, I need prompt response for estimates to my home inspection reports regarding roofing, John, the owner was very responsive to all of my inquiries. Time after time, their quotes are much lower then the other roofing companies. Plus, this company does an excellent job and will send you pictures of the completed work. Its Super Bowl and John at Let it Rain Just came and fixed my roof, i used John a few years ago he was great and still is, i am amazed how people can put a bad review when they have not even had work done by this company. My real estate agent had John from Let It Rain Roofing recommended to her by a coworker. She's been spot-on with all of her other recommendations, so we contracted Let It Rain to do our roof inspection during our Due Diligence Period. I wish we hadn't. John was completely disrespectful of the property, including CREATING damage to the roof and stucco. The seller was beyond upset, as he had photographic evidence of the state of the roof from 3 weeks prior. Needless to say, we will be contracting with another company to fix the damage he caused. My experience with this company is unfortunately the same as many others. I contacted this compaany for a estimate and confirmed a date/time with "April". She stated they had a window of 8-10am however they would arrive closer to 8am so if we wanted to proceed with the work they would have time to complete the project. At 8:30am I called the office and "John Scalon" the owner answered. I stated "Good Morning, I am expecting a estimate this morning and want to make sure we are still on your schedule. He rudely responded "How did you get my number?". His rudeness continued as I explained that "April" stated they would arrive closer to 8am and he responded "you have a two hour window and if you dont like it find someone else". Called the owner John to look at a roof repair for a property. He went out and sent me a quote to replace the entire roof (as opposed to replace the addition area like I had asked). When pointed that out he said he would go back and look at the addition area the next day. Never heard from him. A week later when I called him he said he won't do the repair if I'm not replacing the roof. John started using profanities and inappropriate language. Completely unprofessional. I'm glad it never got to the point that he started work on the property. I have a feeling I dodged a bullet. read more

Not recommended. I am a Realtor that needs prompt responses to leaks, but these guys blew me off not once but twice. Both attempts to have them come out and fix a leak they missed the appointment, no call or text. Won't be trying a third time. Moving on to another roofer and won't be using them for any other properties going forward. read more

Wish I could give them a -0- / Moved into our house 9/17 , roof had been completely done by Let it Rain Roofing, 1/9/18 major leak causing major damage. took them 6hrs to come out and stop the leak. then told they will be out to complete repairs and inspect remainder of roof. I have called every week since, and continually told they will be out later in the week. today is 2/28/18. still no repairs or contact from them. It's obvious they did not do a good job initially, and no follow up with their warranty. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Nevada Contractor Board read more

Please Make sure you read reviews on BBB, yelp and other sites prior to giving this rude business owner a call. john S, the owner, is a belittling, rude, unprofessional bully who is very pushy, temperamental and easily gets offended if you choose to shop around! He quoted us our whole month's salary on a minor repair and his expectation was for me to blindingly accept his high estimate without further job estimates by his competition and treated me like a cheap individual as if i were just spending chump change on his over priced quotes!! What he justifies as to be affordable, Is NOT Affordable to us. Its our month's salary to pay mortgage, car payment and all other Bills and you can bet we will shop around! Based on other reviews, i can see this guy does have ego issues. He has a 100% Negative Rating on BBB's site as well. Do your home work before calling let it rain roofing in Las Vegas as there are too many negative reviews against them. I would definitely question a business that charges an arm and a leg for small jobs and expect you to hire them on the spot without having a chance to obtain other estimates. I had a leak in my roof from the recent rain, here in Vegas and called several different places and they either didn't work past 3 or they couldn't come out for 2 weeks . So my dear husband smacked into the corner of the roof with a moving truck, and of course I started panicking. Called a different roof repair company just to immediately get the voicemail that they couldn't answer the phone, and to leave a voicemail to have it returned the next business day. Called let it rain up, told them what happened, sent a pic of the damage and guess what...got a price and they came out the next morning (today). Texted me when they got here and fixed the issue in about 30 minutes. Roof looks like it had never been touched. I'm not sure about everyone else, but I thought that they were pretty nice people. I'm a happy customer and they just saved my security deposit! I would call them again if I ever needed a roof repair. read more

I should have done my homework before hiring this company. First, when John entered my home, instead of sitting on a chair or couch, he parked his behind on my coffee table. He did not adequately fix the problems I was having with my roof, which was to replace missing shingles and to secure the loose. Less than a week later, we had some winds in the area and about 30 shingles were in my back yard afterwards and when I called them to see if they would come back to fix them, since obviously you didn't secure them correctly, they told me that couldn't guarantee the work they did. April, asked if I could send pics, which I did, and I never heard back from her. I feel like I was robbed of my money and am in the same situation that I was in before I called them. I pray to god someone reads this and i can save them the head ache, rude comments and belittling that the owner John of this company does. I was put in touch with him by my HOA for him to do repairs on my roof. When his team came to replace it, no one let me know they were coming and didn't let me know they were going to be banging around all day so my son and i woke up in a panic. Additionally, they caused internal damage to my condo because of the way they were on the roof. When asked to come inspect their work John never showed for 2 weeks. Once i contacted him again he set up another appointment and again didn't show up. When i said something to him about no one coming he acted like it was my fault he didn't know how to keep an appointment and like the gentleman below me he started to curse at me and trying to belittle me. IF THAT WASN'T BAD ENOUGH the next time it rained the roof started leaking AGAIN in a spot that had never leaked before. Unfortunately, John had to come back out to the house (because of the warranty) and ensured his team would let me know before they got on the roof so i was prepared to hear the banging and again i woke up to a strange man in my window and people banging around on the roof. The team on the roof had a very bad attitude and stated they weren't making enough noise to to tell me they were there. When I called John about just having the common courtesy of just letting a person know they were there all he said was and i quote, "Oh well you can deal with that, at least its getting done what do you want me to do about it." and all i wanted was a knock on my door they were heading up there. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take my warning and take the time to find a different company to do your roof work and save yourself this headache!!!! read more
