Odd Pop is the equivalent of the ice cream truck except they drive straight to your business or event (weddings, gender reveals, birthday parties, and anniversaries). Today, my hubby and I had the pleasure of having three popsicles (lemon Thai basil, strawberry mango and Elderflower Lime) and they were all delicious and so soothing to eat. I could tell the workers were giving us rude stares once my daughter and I agreed on a theme we left the store to go home to pick up her costume to exchange. Once we returned to the store, the girl at the cash register started giving me attitude and told me she had to call her manager back to see if they could exchange my purchase. When her manager came down, she started giving me more attitude, saying she couldn't exchange my purchase for something else because the items I was returning the store was missing plenty of inventory on the same things and how they would get flagged and in trouble if they exchanged my items. I feel instead of pointing fingers at random people, they should be more on top of inventory so innocent customers don't have to pay the price for bad customer service. Then I somehow stumbled across Rebel Catering on Google. They had a wide variety of packages for food varying from Asian, to bbq, to Mexican. They didn't have a ton of reviews, and it seemed like they mostly did corporate events, but I gave them a call. I'll be honest, I was a bit apprehensive of how incredibly chill Rahul is at first (because I was already stressed out), but when I told him about our vision, he immediately checked with his chefs and created an incredible menu for us. My mom and mother in law's primary request was copycats of the other restaurant's corn fritters, and he even delivered on that. I'll attach a picture of the menu, but our minds were blown at the quality and freshness of the food. Buffet style brisket is HARD and he and his team crushed it. I even had friends with allergies and he accommodated them without question. The most popular part of the night though was the shaved ice. Part of Rebel Catering is their shaved ice package with alcoholic shaved ice (TABC bartender included). They had custom flavors to match our Asian fusion theme, and even brought their truck in to serve our guests! They also created a custom flavor named after our cat and created a sign with a cute cartoon of him. They also had tons of other drinks including sodas, jelly drinks, boba drinks, and energy drinks.
