Artists at work here! Truly beautiful pastry and just as delicious. When we walked in, someone was roasting hazelnuts and we were immediately attended to. We got two different drinks - delicious and a selection of baked goods that were phenomenal. You truly cannot go wrong here!

We were walking in the area and decided to check out Vegâteau. They specialize in gluten free, vegan pastries. It's next door to Ramen Isshin. We dropped in on a Monday afternoon (around 4:00pm). The inside only has three small tables (total of 6 seats). Old school Ellie Goulding was playing in the background. The menu is small with pastries, soft serve, cakes and drinks. The soft serve is coconut based and price ranges from $3.50 (bébé) to $6.50 (grand). There was half a dozen pint flavours to choose from. Cakes can also be ordered ($22.00 for 4", $42.00 for 6" and $62.00 for 8"). - Crème molle ($4.50 petit) - the coconut based soft serve was delicious. Great texture and the coconut flavour wasn't overpowering. The gluten free waffle was the best one I've ever eaten. - Tartelette aux frambroîses ($4.75) - raspberries were sweet and the texture of the crust was lovely. Nice touch adding a thin coating of chocolate inside the tart. - Biscuit ($9.75 for 6) - we bought three matcha and three chocolate chip cookies. Texture was excellent. The matcha flavour was prominent. For some reason, it reminded me of macadamia cookies. Another great gluten free find in the city. Would come back to Vegâteau for more goodies.

I've tried Lloyd far too many times to count, I'm a hotel regular due to work travel and have been…read morefor breakfast, bites, cocktails, dinner, and ordered to the room. It's a beautiful restaurant, they cover a wide area within the hotel, including a lounge area, a more cocktail bar area, and a full restaurant set up. The beauty? They cover anything you might want. The downside? They're busy and usually severely behind schedule. I've been with great, consistent staff and I've been and left after 20 minutes of no check in. It can be hit or miss, but when it hits? It hits. They also provide the food that you order up to your room, which is probably my favorite part. Hotels rarely offer the same great menu to your room and so I always know when I've had a long workday that I can just get the same great dinner and lounge in bed after and avoid people. They also are great at getting breakfast to your door early, which makes trips to Montreal so much easier, especially if you're going for work. They always have a great selection of drinks, full bar so they offer everything, and the bartenders has been the same for at least a couple years. They're really nice. They do a good job. Ask for the food, it is always good, and the part I love is that they're very good about allergies when you mention it to them. They offer gluten-free bread and they change out ingredients. I've never had a bad meal or snack. So even when sometimes the weight is too long I know I'll be back another day and I'll have something great.

I worked for 3 days and needed a quick place to eat for dinner and luckily there is a great…read morerestaurant just downstairs of the Marriott. The host was not on kind but informative. There is a bar in front with lounge style seating. It was eclectic and the music had a French twist. I ate lamb the first night and steak the night after. Both delicious but I liked the lamb better and the nioch was a nice touch. The thinly sliced fries with the steak was difficult to eat. The octopus was amazing and soft. Overall great and attentive staff and good food.
