Everything is done electronically, which means that appointment schedule, patient portals, televisits, are not only done efficiently, but there is minimal wait time. I have physically been to the office 4x, and have never had more than a 5 minute wait (I am not holding them to this standard in the future, but I think that is pretty amazing) The staff is incredibly helpful, caring and very professional. This review is about Heartbeat Health's virtual cardiology offering, promoted via Regence…read moremarketing emails. Not about a particular practitioner: DO NOT recommend. Feels like Regence and Heartbeat Health are in some sort of unholy alliance. It was advertised to me by Regence. "A virtual cardiologist!" I thought, "what could go wrong--its sooo convenient." Am I a fool, you ask? Why, yes! Yes, I am. The initial virtual appointment with the doctor was great, but everything after that was: boooooooo. I received no follow up instructions, no visit summary for days. Crickets. They have no patient portal, but do have an irritating messaging system that is a pain to log into. I ran into all kinds of approval roadblocks, even though this was a service advertised by Regence; I needed to shop around for testing facilities and fax lab orders to them, and follow up with everyone far too many times. It's a wonder this whole process hasn't worsened my cardiac health--maybe it has, how would I know? Haven't been able to schedule my test. The labs/hospitals I tried to schedule my test with, had never heard of Heartbeat Health and expressed deep distrust of it, and of the fact that I was expected to mediate orders and approval processing. I never write reviews, but if someone is in need of cardiac care, the delay and sheer number of hoops I needed to jump through to get nowhere in the end, make it inadvisable. So I offer my story as a cautionary note. My 1 cent: stick with a regular cardiology practice. I've been the fool, so you don't have to.

In my opinion she really went above and beyond what other doctors in her area of expertise have done for me in the past. Considering my family history, I left Dr. Rostegar feeling more confident that there were no underlying issues that may have been missed. Sitting here on the streets of Manhattan I feel a sigh of relief that this doctor was on point and knew what she was talking about. When you see Dr. Rostegar she gives you her undivided attention.
