The GM who signed me up for my membership was awesome and he's staffing some friendly people as well at the front desk as well. The pool is now fully functional and I've used it; its loaded with chlorine but I'm not mad considering id rather swim where its clean. The gym overall is very clean! The bathrooms do weird me out a bit but I think that's more of a personal problem and not something La should be concerned about. Also, every class I've taken has been awesome! Highly recommend.

Trainers are helpful if you ask about one thing - I don't know the cost to hire them, though I do see quite a few people with a trainer. If you know what you're doing, this place is a great deal with so much equipment. There are quite a few Life Fitness treadmills, though I far prefer other brands of treadmills. There are recumbent bikes and elliptical machines (not Precor). There's no pool nor racquetball space, which helps keep the costs down. There are daily classes that are free. I don't use them, but women have told me the current class leaders are good. Separate locker rooms with showers for men and women. There is a child care area, though I'm not familiar with it or if there's a charge with it. There are a few tanning stalls. If your immunity is low, you may want to skip this gym - despite large wall signs, no one ever wipes off their machines or weights. Based on all the guys I see go directly from the stalls and urinals right out to the gym floor without washing their hands, I'd say this gym was MRSA/fecal central. Like most gyms, it's most crowded starting around 5, after work. The staff seems pleasant - at least none of them have Tasered me yet. Make sure there's money in your checking account for the monthly fee and the annual charge - if not, the out-of-state administrator will keep hitting your account everyday, racking up a bank fee each time for insufficient funds. There have been many car break-ins in the lot in the past, so I'd suggest leaving anything of value at home. On 1/19/2015, I read on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) site that this location has their worst rating, an "F." "BBB files indicate that this business has a pattern of complaints concerning billing and contract issues. Specifically, complainants allege after cancelling their membership, they continue to be billed. Some consumers allege their accounts were sent to collections. On August 21, 2014, BBB sent certified correspondence to the company requesting their voluntary cooperation in eliminating the pattern of customer complaint on file with BBB. As of September 11, 2014, the business has not responded. BBB will update this alert if a business response is received."

The place was with mix of people fit people, to seniors to new newbies and everyone was respectful. I have had many rude cashiers, bank tellers and cops, but that doesn't discriminate the whole workforce or in this case the gym Only complaint, is there didn't seem there was enough staffing. The only staff seemed was from the behind the counter. Westfield is always filed with staffs in their purple shirts.

The gym is DARK. Black floors, black ceilings, mostly black walls. Then add dim lighting. It wasn't always like this. It used to be fairly bright and cheerful. I'm not sure what vibe they're going for here. But it's just strange. Even the locker rooms are dark. Add to this the fact that they mostly play house or techno music. It's almost like you're inside of a nightclub. Not a dealbreaker by any means. The gym is absolutely huge. One of the larger planet fitness locations I have been to. It's spread out by very nicely and they have more equipment and machines than the typical planet fitness gym as far as I can tell. The place is very clean and appears to be well managed. All the equipment I used work properly. Of course they have long gotten rid of Olympic weights and bench presses and all that. But there's still a wide variety of weights and machines to fit just about any work out. The dumbbells top out at 75 pounds which is pretty typical for planet fitness. For the price, very hard to be beat. And overall, it's a really good location.

This is one of the better equipped crunch locations that I've been to. They have a wall of 10 Olympic bumper platforms. I have never felt more in tune with my body and confident with myself. From a classic to an Empower or Reform class, I am challenged every single day and I appreciate that each studio changes their routine frequently. This location is extra cute because you can early tell there is a sense of community. The instructor announced that there would be a book club held next week and there were even Polaroid photos of members that finished recent challenges. I have nothing but good things to say about Pure Barre. It's home!

I started doing barre last year, and this was my first experience with it. I have a pre-existing knee injury that severely limits my ability to do any interesting workouts. The teachers are motivating, the classes are inclusive of all body types and abilities, and everyone is kind. The goal is to get stronger - not hotter, skinnier, etc., which I really, really appreciate. The customer service is also fantastic! I have had some issues with my knee and as such have had to stop going recently. The customer service team worked with me to pause my account indefinitely so that by the time I come back, I won't be paying any additional fees or increased payments. They respond promptly to concerns, and are always apologetic if something goes wrong. I've never been worried about feeling heard with them. The location itself is very convenient, and has great hours. They have classes ranging from 6am to the evening, which I really appreciate! It's such a cute place, and is always sparkling clean. I would highly recommend checking this place out!
