I am from out of town and wasn't able to do a trial with a salon in Fargo, so I chose to go with the only blow dry bar in town. I thought, this is their specialty, I've had perfect blowouts at every other blow dry bar I've been to, this is fool-proof. How wrong I was. To be fair. The salon is absolutely immaculate and beautiful. This is the reason for my two stars. I asked for a standard blow out style, volume at the roots, really soft, with curl at the ends. I'll note that she didn't use any heat protectant, and consistently got the round brush tangled in my hair. I ended up really disappointed with the results. My hair was super flat and so heavy with product to the point that my hair felt dirty. I mentioned that I wasn't happy with how flat it was, and the stylist backcombed it into a weird shape. Seeing how much worse it got when I gave feedback, it became clear that things were not going to get better and I was running out of time to get ready for my wedding. I resolved to touch base with the salon next week, paid, left, went to my hotel, washed, dried, and re-styled my hair. I had a ton of breakage - I've never seen my hair do that. The salon doesn't have an email address, so I reached out through Facebook and included the attached photo. I explained that I wasn't happy with the service, and wanted to talk about it. Someone responded with a person and number to contact. When I called, the person talked over me the entire time. When I described what I'd asked for and asked if that is what she saw in the photo, she replied, "I am out of words". Some of the worst customer service I've ever seen. They refused to refund the service, and clearly saw no issue with what had happened. I'd read bad reviews for this place, but I thought, "these people are probably being hysterical and have impossible standards" - you see a few of those for every business on Yelp. I am a reasonable, empathetic, and kind-hearted person, and I'm telling you - run fast and far from Blow Inc.
