I used it for ceremony music, and the lovely sound filled the space wonderfully--and we were outside. But what is even more special is how warmly and genuinely they celebrate the day and connect with guests. Ryan hits the perfect pitch, such that his contribution just flows into the larger timeline of the event. To everyone, it felt like they were our friends, yet clearly so professional. I once attended a wedding where the DJ was good, but so unobtrusive that he couldn't get people's attention for special dances, or even the cake cutting! No worries with Glasz Productions. Somehow, Ryan commands attention without being pushy. Guests just flat-out listened when he spoke. I should mention that you start developing your playlist months before the wedding, and when you meet up with Sevy and Ryan a month or so before the event, you confirm and go over everything on the timeline, as well as your wants and needs for songs. We were doing a number of slightly unconventional twists to our wedding and thus were disregarding numerous traditions. Kelly was very enthusiastic about helping us with determining how to integrate nontraditional ideas we had while at the same time, letting us know gently when we shouldn't be messing with certain traditions for the sake of our guests. We purchased the two-day package (rehearsal dinner and day of). She was always punctual, had a smile on her face, but also firm whenever necessary to keep things moving along. A little story of um, irregularity at my wedding (yes, I realized afterwards that I should have probably brought my wedding ring to the ceremony). Kelly came through as the calming presence for everyone and immediately made the correct judgment call to use a substitute ring from my Best Man. I would have had my sister rush back to the hotel for the ring and delayed the start of the ceremony at least another 30 mins which could have been disastrous as it would have impacted all of the remaining schedule and cost us hundreds more in photographer and videographer OT fees. After the wedding, I kept hearing from our guests about all the little things Kelly did throughout the night like personally filling water glasses, reattaching my wife's wedding dress train thingy during the dancing and many more. As a typical guy, I despise the wedding industry and think there is a ridiculous 30% markup for anything just because it has the word "wedding" attached. However, Kelly's coordination service was a wedding service that I would have gladly paid 50% more than I paid.

I had initially enlisted a friend to perform our marriage ceremony, but after I read that article I knew I wanted Evan there and from the moment he said he was available, he exceeded our expectations wildly. Evan is warm, kind, wise, humble and very sensitive to the complexities of relationship. He was on time for every meeting, very fairly priced, and always present with us, wherever we were at. Leah helped me a lot in having me rank the different wedding related items to see what was important to me. This helped me with determining my budget and made me realize what was important for me to include in the wedding. Leah also followed up with me on certain vendors after our appointment and was always willing to help. The only downside with The Bridal Bar is that they only recommend vendors that pay them to advertise their services. Since they are in La Jolla, a number of the vendors are on the pricier side. There's no expense to you to use their services though, so I definitely recommend them to anyone planning their wedding in San Diego.
