This is a massive red flag, as it appears to be a deliberate loophole to dodge the state's mandatory cargo insurance and liability protections that legitimate movers are required to carry. Upon requesting that Doyle strike these clauses from their contract, they refused to do so, because they "do over 1,000 moves a year and send the same contract to every customer we service." It took them the full 3 hours to finish loading and unloading the truck at my new apartment. This left no time for them to reassemble my furniture that they disassembled to load onto the truck.
