    Gelato

Nice little shop with gelato, chocolates and cones with a good selection of sorbets for dairy free folk, wifey had mixed berry, mango & lemon which she said were delicious. The staff is great but service is very slow. We have to wait on line for 25 min. We tried various flavors. All were good. The ambiance is very comforting but small. I would return.

Super cute little chocolate/gelato shop located in Covent Gardens. They have a downstairs that specializes primarily in chocolate and they have quite a huge selection. The staff who was helping us allowed us to try some chocolates -- highly recommend the pistachio ones. It's sold by kilogram so you can mix and match different flavors that you want. Definitely worth a stop as I bought some for myself and as a treat for friends/family back home!

I liked Venchi gelato quite a bit in Italy, but was less impressed with this London location. I got three flavors: chocolate nougat, autumn essence (pomegranate and blood orange), and cashew. The chocolate nougat had an intense chocolate flavor, the autumn essence had a refreshing fruit flavor, but the cashew flavor was very chunky as if it was not mixed well (1 star off). I could not even scoop up the cashew chunks with my spoon, but had to bite the big chunks from the gelato cup. Furthermore, since I got a regular cup with three flavors, the ratio of each flavor was off (1 star off). I got a ton of the cashew flavor, but not much of the autumn essence flavor. This experience does not turn me off to future Venchi visits, but thought my experience at this location was inconsistent with my past experiences with Venchi.

Delicious The youngest among us wanted gelato and thanks to Yelp we easily found Venchi. We happened to be at Covent Garden playing tourists and Venchi was very close by. There was a line when we arrived that moved along ok. When it was our turn, I ordered a small cup while my granddaughter ordered a 3 flavor cone. The person stacking the gelato atop the cone was very adept, flattening the second and third flavors and getting them added so the whole thing would not fall over. I was impressed. They were too busy with a line behind us to do much small talk, but were pleasant enough. There is no seating inside, we enjoyed our gelato outside. My Brutto & Buono (Milk chocolate & Hazelnut), was an excellent choice. I liked the little solid pieces mixed in with the smooth gelato.

OMG!! The best gelato ever and trust me, I have had a lot of gelato in my life. I was standing in line and the guy in front of me says he was visiting from Saudia Arabia (looked like he was part of the Royal family based on how he was dressed) and that this was his fourth straight day of coming here and that he loved it. Well if it is good enough for royalty...well, I don't if he was...but he was right about the gelato though. I love that they allow you to get 4 different flavors in a large and everything was delectable. I was not sure when I was going to be in the area again and went back for another large!

One of the best places to get gelato and chocolate Anything in Covent Garden. Located in the square, this place is fast and efficient. The deepest, darkest, gooey dark chocolate gelato. I also had the pistachio and my wife had a few others BUT the dark chocolate was why I came back. I had a passed a few nights before but there was a long line but I could see that deep dark chocolate from a mile away. It did not disappoint me, not one bit. Every lick was incredible and went to my chocolate soul. I always rate a place based upon one thing, Was it memorable? in some way, shape, or form will I remember my experience? I will think of Covent garden and this place. Go if you love chocolate because if this doesn't do it for you, please see a professional.

This is a cute gelato shop near our hotel the Pelham. It gets pretty busy with the tourists from the museums nearby. The options are pretty good. Gelato has yet to disappoint me.

    Mango and pistachio gelato

The gelato was good, but I was charged extra for the chocolate inside the cone and around it without being told. Unfortunately I ended up paying £7.7 pounds or $10 for a gelato. I would go back purely for the mango gelato, as that was absolutely delicious

I didn't feel like having gelato so I tried one of their drinks. As you can see it's really made with love and so rich! I will be back to try the gelato.

Delicious gelato. Lines are long, and out the door all day long - and for good reason. The gelato is exceptional. Very creamy, not overly sweet. I knew it was good when everyone in line was an adult and not a child. The give you a complimentary chocolate on top for you to try, and they have amazing fillings for your cup or cone! I high recommend if you're in the area.

Brilliant icecream with a good variety of flavours! Tubs seemed a little small for the price but actually very filling.

I was in-between 3 and 4 stars. While the ice cream is lovely, it is much better in Italy and sadly the service is quite lacking here.

I had never had goats' milk ice cream, so what better place to do that than Borough Market where they sell pretty much everything. Greedy Goat has a small stand in the ridiculously small seating area of the market. Jamie W. and I decided to treat ourselves on a balmy day. £6 will get you two scoops in a cup, and there were about ten enticing flavors to choose from. Jamie went for Caramel & Sea Salt and Banana, Chocolate & Caramel (photo: https://yelp.to/Y558VWhmM_), while I got the Cherry & Amaretto and Hazelnut (photo: https://yelp.to/1S4DBPzJiQ). Needless to say, they were deliciously creamy. We could've had a second cup, but who'd be considered greedy then? This is where their story started, humble beginnings serving ice cream cups and cones from their 'little goat shack' at the market. Their ice cream is made in Somerset from British goat's milk. (Uhhhm, don't mind if I do!) Their ice creams are GMO free, egg free, gluten free, lactose friendly, 100% natural, suitable for vegetarians, and all that good stuff . They had a handful of fun flavors available and we went with chocolate for the kiddo and we got the banana & pecan. Our son enjoyed his ice cream and couldn't even tell it was made from goat's milk instead of cow's milk ;). We also enjoyed our ice cream. Nice, clean flavor and not overly sweet! The fact that they use locally sourced ingredients were a big plus for me and something I like to look for when visiting new places. It is quite a bit pricey per scoop, at £3.90, but we were on vacation so ... counting memories not $$$.

It is a farmer's type market with some prepared foods, which were top notch. We walked the entire thing and grabbed as much as we could to eat.
