DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I ordered a big ticket item, a $1000…read moresewing machine. A few days later I receive an email that it's on backorder and will take a week longer. I was fine with waiting. Now I receive an email stating that they cancelled my order, because I didn't respond to their email. Since WHEN is it customary to respond to a status update email? It's not; in fact, most of the time status update emails cannot be responded to, as responses go to an unchecked email address. If they needed confirmation that this was "okay" with me to keep waiting, they should have explicitly stated that they needed a response. When I emailed them asking why they cancelled my order, and this was the reason, I was shocked. Now I have to wait 3 days for my money to be refunded so I could reorder the same product from them. So I asked why I should spend my money reordering from their store after they just screwed me over, and they literally told me to order from a different online store. This is not "customer service". This is highly unprofessional. And if they're willing to screw me over, someone who was trying to spend a big amount of money at their store, they'll screw your over, too. Don't trust them.

The three basic elements that I am interested about in a purchase are; A quality product , A fair…read moreprice and delivery in a reasonable amount of time. The cost of my item was as advertised, .. it arrived one day earlier than estimated delivery time and the product was a higher quality than what I expected. Thus, if possible I would have given six stars. In my opinion a better quality than expected, one day earlier than expected, at the agreed upon cost gives Cutex Sewing Supplies a higher rating than anyone could expect. A company this customer highly recommends.

I can't give enough stars to Carlos at KMC. I had a rush job of only four items that was a "time is…read moreof the essence" kind of thing. I had used someone else for years and they couldn't do it because their equipment was down. I literally opened Google to see where I could go nearby that wasn't going to be too expensive. I'm on a strict budget and at the end of the day, these items were more of a want than need. I was ready to have to just come up with some other idea. Or I'd have to try to figure out how to use the Cricut sitting in my garage for over a year (that wasn't happening). I had walked into another place the week before, and they turned me away for my small order, so I wasn't confident anyone could help me. I also needed the turnaround to be five days or less by that point, because I'd thought I'd had someone else lined up but when I hadn't heard from them in a few days, I got nervous. I needed to find a back up for my back up. I walked into KMC and Carlos was immediately friendly and ready to help. I showed him what I needed and he said "no problem". Then he asked if I wanted some extra stuff done that I wasn't even going to ask for because I figured it would add difficulty and expense. I did want that though so I said yes. I said cautiously, well, yeah, no problem, but how soon can I get them? He just laughed and said - "I can have them done by tomorrow". Tomorrow? Ok, but how much? I braced myself. Well, he was way less expensive than any other place quoted me for less work. I was ecstatic. It was just such a pleasure working with him. I was curious what kind of machine he used just because I'm a geek like that. I have a lot of this stuff for work reasons but don't have the time to learn it. So he showed me and explained it to me and even told me where to get supplies (also never going to happen). I don't think someone else in his business would have been so forthcoming. But you can tell he just likes people, likes to help, and acts like there is room for everyone. I've used one person for like six years for any customization who I also found on a whim, so I've never had to investigate finding anyone else or pricing anything out so I didn't even know current pricing for these kinds of jobs. But small businesses go out all the time and it's always great to know more people who might have a business you need. Carlos will be my main guy now for any customization needs. He does it all- silkscreen, vinyl, DTF transfer, embroidery. He has items to print on or you can bring your own. True to his word, I got my stuff back the next morning at 11a when he opened and it was perfect. I can't post pictures of them because they are a surprise gift. But I did take pics of his shop and some of his items so you can see what's going on in this little place on Lincoln Ave. Had no idea he was so close also- I was able to run over there in minutes. He's just really chill and my stuff came out better than I could've expected. I highly recommend!

He tried fixing the shirt I had been working on, and when that didn't turn out, he offered to make a whole new shirt with the design I had made. Horrible time management and customer service I dropped a shirt off to be embroidered on a Tuesday…read more.. they said it would be ready Wednesday the next day so I was unable to come during the day so I came at 5pm they close at 6 so they say. And so I get in the store and I'm like hi here to pick up my sweater and the deer in headlight look said enough that they totally forgot to do it. Needless to say they had 6 days but ok .. The guy was like come back in an hour I go I thought you close at 6? They replied with we do but we'll be here. I come back at 540 just in case it was done and the entire store was closed up gate down all dark inside. So now I'm pissed so I went back the next afternoon and was like what happened last night and they were basically like ohh.. well.. ya see.. And I'm like give me my sweater and I was expecting an I'm sorry we messed up discount but no. Still regularly priced. I paid and will never ever go there again. Someone from my job referred me because the company logo was in the system! But never again! Highly UN-recommendable!
