We went on the Friday before Valentine's Day at 8 pm. They had clearly had a busy evening! They were taking care of customers and trying to clean tables in between taking and delivering orders. In other words, it was not clean, but I believe it was not clean because it was so busy. The dining room was mostly full at 8 pm. It is a former Pizza Hut building and the tables and chairs reflect that. The service was great - very friendly and efficient. The food was great. We split a large supreme pizza and had two cokes. The cheese is mozzarella, the crust is a nice in-between type crust. The sauce is not too sweet or salty. The vegetables are FRESH and crunchy. The soda was fizzy, but did not skimp on the syrup. Dinner was just under $30 plus tip, which is unheard of these days. This place is a gem and we will be back. They have pasta which I look forward to trying. read more

When a restaurant impresses both adults and picky kids, you know you've found something special. This pizza and pasta were absolutely delicious! The crust was incredible, perfectly cooked with amazing flavor. The sauce really stood out too. The cheese and toppings were balanced just right. We ordered spaghetti for our kids as well, and even they loved it! Coming from two very picky eaters, that says a lot! The pasta sauce has a unique taste with the perfect blend of spices, meat, and richness that you just don't find everywhere. The garlic sticks were puffy, soft, and coated in buttery garlic goodness. Everything about the food was on point. And can we talk about prices...It's so refreshing to find a place not charging $4 for a soda (theirs are $1.85 and Coke products). The overall pricing is very reasonable compared to other local spots. A family of four can eat well and leave satisfied for under $40, which is such a win. The only downside was the wait. They were packed at 5:30 on a Friday night, and we didn't leave until almost 7:30. That said, our waitress was very sweet and helpful the entire time. We'll definitely be back! We waited over an hour for two salads, two fries, and three 7 inch pizzas. Only to be told pizzas only take 6 mins to make. We ended up getting it to go and they still never gave us the fries. We ordered a pizza, sausage,pepperoni and mushroom. The pizza arrived hot, melty, and smelling delicious. The flavor did not disappoint. The fact that there were no mushroom did, but not so much to cause us to complain. I did not see anywhere on the menu for different crust choices. The thin crust was still good, just not my personal choice. The service was average. It wasn't over the top, but I wish the server spent as much time with the customers as she spent talking to other servers or the expediter. Still the job got done. Ambiance...this place has no ambiance. I believe it's an old pizza hut but all the sound dampening has been removed and for those of us that are hearing impaired it makes me a little miserable. Final thoughts; The left over pizza did very well whether cold or reheated...(that) gives it high marks. Until they are able to upgrade the decor and dampen the noise a bit...I think this will be our local pizza take choice. It has better pizza than others in the areas. First time trying Venecia's. Gyro salad with Mediterranean feta dressing was fantastic. Really nice chef salad as well. Sweet Thai chili wings were okay. I really enjoyed the pizza with tomato sauce, but we thought it could have light on sauce and cheese. Cauliflower crust pizza was better than average. It was ok. I see a review on here that says the all meat pizza tastes worse than a frozen pizza, and I agree. The quality was not there for the price point. Service was ok. I've been on this kick to try different pizza establishments lately so I decided to get Venecia's pizza. Frankly, it's been hard for me to catch them open but tonight I did. I called in my order and the service was very friendly. The pie I ordered appears to be off menu as I like my pizza with everything on it or what is typically called a special without mushrooms. I did not dine in because it was late and when I got home to look at the pizza, it looked very appetizing. It was a really good pizza. The crust is very light, which is nice. The one thing I will say is that the flavors were not as strong as I'm used to with Pizza. The medium was a little on the smallish size in my opinion. I did like the pizza though. A coworker and I stopped by for lunch. We both ordered a pizza. I had their all meat pizza. The pizzas came out in a reasonable amount of time. This location was a Pizza Hit for most of my 50 plus years. They did a nice job cleaning it up and putting a fresh look in the interior. The staff was friendly and attentive. The pizza was OK. It didn't impress me, but the price was offensive. I will pay good money for good food. This was not worth the price. read more

I came here with a group of friends for a quick pizza... this was the opposite. When we walked in it was not overly busy from what we could see. When we first sat down the workers were automatically showing attitude towards my friends and I. It would take a long time for servers to take our order OR completely forget. We sat at a table for over an hour after order both our appetizers and pizza and got served neither. When we asked about our order we were met with unnecessary rudeness and told (over an hour after the order was placed) that it was just put in the oven. We decided to try their pizza tonight. It was SO DISAPPOINTING!! We have had frozen pizza that had better flavor. We got the all meat pizza. All of the toppings were in the center and hardly none on the rest of the pizza. You have to place your order at the counter where the employees were all busy on their phones. When they brought out our pizza, she says "Oh let me go get you some plates and silverware." She should have done that while the pizza was cooking. They were not busy at all. So that was not the issue. We had really hoped it would be good. But it was just shy of awful. And to top it off, it felt warmer outside than it did in their dining room.
