Great atmosphere for lunch on Mondays. We were searching for a great place to get Pizza for our friends who were in town from Brazil. We realized most pizza places were either closed on Mondays or were not open till dinner. We called and spoke to the manager who let us know they were open on Monday's and would have a place for our group to sit and talk for a few hours. The Rosati Monster was an amazing pie. The jalapeño poppers were great fun for our guests that did not have access to jalapeños back in Brazil. The sweet Italian dressing was the favorite of the people eating salads. All in all, it was a great place for lunch and I did notice a $5 lunch special that looked worth a solo return to get a single slice of pizza and a drink. read more

We came here for a small birthday gathering during lunch time on a Saturday, it wasn't super packed but the service was pretty slow. Though the staff was friendly, it took quite some time for our table to be checked in on regarding drinks as well as our pizza being delivered, I had read previous reviews and this seems to be a pretty common issue. The food itself was pretty good, I love a good thin crust and the amount of toppings did not disappoint. We ended up getting 2 large pizzas (they had a BOGO 50% off deal) as well as onion rings and fried mushrooms. This restaurant is closest to our hotel. For a number of reasons we had a stressful day and just wanted a nice salad and bed. The hostess brought us to our table and a waitress came by quickly to take a drink order. The first draft beer my SO ordered was not available. The first cocktail I ordered was not available, the second they didn't know how the make the third I made as basic a requeat as I could. They could make that one but with a different liquor than the one I requested. So 'full' bar-ish. I guess all this wrangling over getting a drink order in put our waitresses knickers in a twist. Always polite to our face she slammed every drink, including waters onto the table top. She did a good job being sure we had what we needed, but in this place everyone knows each other and we started getting side eye from the table next to us so she was clearly venting about us to other customers. The salads were fresh with a nice variety of toppings. We would stop here again for the food. The tables were clean, seating comfortable, menu varied. Between music and conversation the room is loud. Our waitress asked us repeatedly if we were ready for another adult beverage. Every time she passed the table, very agressively. Our party of nine went early on a Friday evening. We were quickly sat and drink order was taken. Drinks arrived and the food order was taken. The food arrived and everything looked great. Hot and fresh and the portions are huge. Where things went down hill was as the place started getting busy. The wait staff fell apart. We had staff come by and check on us continuously, but anything we asked for (refills, another beer, etc.) never showed up. It got to the point where we just got up and went to the bar and got it ourselves. Then the bills came out. What a mess. Nine people on three checks. Not a single check was correct. When they were dropped off we were told if there was an issue to let her know. Problem was, we never saw her again. At that point we wanted out so we all just put down cash and left. I wish I could've taken video because the inside of this restaurant is so nice and chill. We sat down, and in true big Backian fashion, I ordered a lot the bread bites and the pizza?! in hindsight, I would've gotten a small because I ate off that medium for another 3 days! upon arrival, the establishment was not very busy but had a few customers. me and my girlfriend drove 25 miles each way because we heard it was a good place to go. When we arrived, my girlfriend wanted to sit somewhere inside specific and we were denied that seating for some reason. Immediately after we were assigned their table the waitress walking by drops a tray of 7 drinks of beer and soda 2' away beside us splashing liquid on our clothes and chairs. accidents happen so we forgot quickly and our waitress (the manager female Latina) came over to take our drink order and we proceeded to put in for a small deep dish to get started. The manager said she would put that In and return to see if we wanted anything else. She was very nice and she took the rest of her order which was two House salads and the Rosatis bread bites. me and my girlfriend decided to play games that were sitting behind us while we waited for our salads. shortly after our salads have come, but our pizza never did. A different waitress had asked us if we were wanting anything else and we were puzzled at her question and advised her that we were waiting on a pizza when she told us that no pizza order was ever put in. Come to find out. The manager has left on an emergency and totally forgot about putting the pizza order in. The waitress wound up calling the manager on the phone and she wanted to speak with my girlfriend directly and admitted to totally forgetting about putting the order. after the phone call, The waitress asked us if we still wanted to put in for the pizza and we asked how long it would take. They advised us about 20 to 30 minutes..I then advised them that I didn't think it was fair to pay full price as we have been waiting now for 45 minutes and they failed to put our order in. She stated that she would take 5% off. needless to say, we were extremely disappointed in the service and it just didn't seem like anybody cared whether we left or not. we tried to contact corporate and left our information and we've also called the restaurant and left our information to see if anybody would call us back, so far nothing. we have had a lot of mishaps going to restaurants, we understand these kind of things happen, but it does seem to happen to us more often. like I stated it just seems like customer service has gone right out the window anymore and people just don't care. read more

Very excited to have somewhere that serves Chicago deep dish pizza on the IL side of the STL-metro area. Went at lunch time with a friend on a rare Monday off. We both ordered drinks and decided to split a small deep dish pizza with chicken, spinach, & cheese. Quiet place outside of most of the bustle of town, with Amazon next door. Food taste is good, good sauce for the pizzas and sandwiches are good too. Not enough cheese on Chicago style deep dish (compared to those you can get in Chicago like Giordano's). Service is spotty. On one visit, the manager straight up lied to us both times we called back a mistake, once concerning a menu item and once concerning advertised specials. When I say lied, I mean I addressed there was a problem (discrepancy between what's listed on their menu/specials and what we received) and she would cover her server until I would point to the black and white on the menu/specials, then she would back her words up after being shown the proof and honor the listed special. Glad she was willing to honor the specials and listed items after being shown, but it felt like there was an attempt to deceive us rather than fix the problem (like making us feel like we misinterpreted the menu items and special board...I can read). This dropped it from 4.5-5 stars to 3 out of 5. No one likes being lied to, and my last words to the manager was you're giving us two different answers every time we bring up a problem, one before I point to the proof and once after. She responded with sorry for the misunderstanding. Would have been way better if they just fixed the issues and didn't try to justify every one. They did aim to please once mistakes were identified in black and white, maybe even overcompensated us once they realized I was a savvy consumer, but I don't understand the trying to tell customers in a nutshell that oh we did this for this reason when you could just fix the issue. Mistakes happen, but covering them up rather than fixing them is not cool. read more

The service was decent but the food wasn't great. It's basically fast food. We stopped in thinking it was like a "family owned" Italian restaurant (we were wrong obviously.) My husband had the lasagna and said it tasted exactly like those frozen Stouffer's lasagna pans u stick in the oven. The wings were a bit too tangy for my taste. Tried this establishment on a early Friday evening. Typical commercial vibe, bar, table and chairs, not much in decor other than some commercial beer signs, etc. Place was pretty empty with a few tables on the patio. We opted to dine in due to flies. We ordered a deep dish pizza, salads, and pasta. The pizza was just ok, not quite hot in the middle enough. The pasta was dry, asked for more sauce, if you ever ordered Fettucine Alfredo, you know in 5 minutes the pastas going to soak up sauce and the pasta is sticky and seems dry. Salads were ok, nothing to write home about. The service was SLOW, waitress and bartender chatting and on phones, refills seemed non existent. Was a female cook with a giant afro, no hairnet. The kicker was the bill, 2.50 to pour more sauce in a cup you would usually get salad dressing to go in, hmm ok, I give the server $100.00 bill, she returns with my change and says. We don't have enough change right now, so I rounded your bill up .42 cents, and walked away. I was dumb struck, a restaurant on a Friday night that couldn't find .42? Why not round it down? Because the register would be short? So short the customer? I mean the amount is no big deal, the nerve of being so nonchalant about it just struck a weird chord. We order food for our team meeting at 3:30pm for pickup. We went to go pick up the food at 5:15pm and it wasn't ready, while waiting a lady stated she had been waiting an hour for her pickup already, I left and told her to call when the food was ready. Now is it is 6:45pm, no phone , I called and the food still not ready. Our employees are was very upset and hungry. Now I have to drive back to get a refund, waisting more time and gas. This totally unacceptable for a business that just open 2 weeks ago. It is now 6:58pm our manager went back up there to get a refund, 3 ladies met him at his car bring food out, as he drove down the street he get a phone call stating they for got to give him the salad !!! No explanation, no APOLOGY,no how can we make this right, nothing from the manager or the owner and we spent $252.00 with this place!!! The customer service definitely sucks and if I could give them no stars I would, this is horrible. First time visiting Rosati's Pizza today. It's a beautiful new building with modern design and has a nice flow. Great for larger parties too. It had an inside and outside bar area. The sunroom area is a nice, light and bright dinning space for families. Upon entry we were greeted and welcomed. The menu has plenty of options and even fair priced kids meals for the littles ($5.99-pasta with garlic bread or pizza & drink). We shared a large pizza (16in) with half and half toppings, order the dough nuggets, and hot wings. The guys ate wings and said they were your standard sauce, which wasn't hot in their opinion. The chicken was solid for the average wing. The dough nuggets are fluffy, garlic and parmesan covered (and in a good amount where you taste the flavor) and come with a marinara style sauce (little more sweet side of sauces). The pizza was great! We ordered the thin crust, which still has a crust to it. I'd describe it as a thin hand tossed. Great flavor in the sauce (similar to a Romas style sauce in my opinion), great amount of mozzarella cheese, excellent REAL Italian sausage! The pan it's served on has the bubble type pan so the crust is delicious! We enjoyed it! My sons got the spaghetti kids meal and enjoyed it too. Sweet sauce in our opinion, and more of a chunky (maybe overly sauced) style but decent portion and delicious garlic bread with it. They serve Pepsi products, which is also a win for us. They offer some coupons on their takeout menu (you can find when you first walk in). We were able to get our dough nuggets free (a $10.99 value)! They also advertise a jumbo slice of pizza and 20oz drink at lunch time (during week) for $5! That's a great deal! Clean restrooms and restaurant. Very friendly staff, our waitress was super accommodating and friendly, which is always appreciated! Overall, if you're looking for somewhere new to try I'd highly recommend. We will be back!
