After…read moreremoving the old patio, they discovered a drainage pipe problem that they offered to fix (for a significant amount of additional money, of course). When I agreed, they started digging right away without calling OUPS to have property marked for existing utilities (as required by Ohio Revised Code). As a result, they damaged my high voltage electric line which ultimately cost me $6500 to fix. They refused to cover even half of that cost and acted very unprofessionally. So, while they ultimately did a good job on patio replacement, I observed their tendency to cutting corners and not following the proper procedures. This resulted in a very poor price to value ratio of their service to me. I would not recommend them to anybody.

November 2025 our neighbor was getting a tree removed from their backyard and MS Tree Service…read more asked if they could use our driveway to make getting the tree out easier. Trying to be good neighbors and friends we said yes. However, MS Tree Service did not lay down any plywood or anything that would help protect the driveway. MS Tree Service parked their heavy equipment on our driveway, cracking it and leaving tire marks and proceeded to leave without informing us of any damage they caused. We found the damage and attempted to contact MS Tree Service and there was no response, we tried reaching to them multiple times over 2 months and no luck. We then found out at city hall, MS Tree Service didn't even have a permit to work in the city when they took  neighbors tree down. We filed a police report and contacted the BBB. After taking these steps the BBB was able to make contact with MS Tree Service. They finally reached out to us and informed us they needed us to get a quote and pay out of pocket for the damages, and they would reimburse us. We did not believe this because of the lack of honesty and leaving without telling us about the damaged they caused the first time. After going back and fourth trying to get down payment money from them in order to book someone to do the repairs, and they just kept saying "you pay for it and we will then write you a check" we have stopped all contact with MS Tree Service. We are now using our insurance to get the repairs done due to lack of action from the company. Our insurance company will be pursuing legal action in order to recover our money. 0 out of 10 stars. Do not recommend. All of this for trying to be good neighbors and help out a friend.

That my lawn is so green and clear as we head into winter is a huge improvement over previous years. Jeff Sajovie Jr. grew up in the landscaping business and really knows how to get the best results. We hired 131 not only for grass cutting, but for weed control, mulching, aerating, reseeding and plant trimming. Jeff is a perfectionist. He never left our yard until everything was perfect. 131 is not the cheapest lawn service out there, but his pricing is fair. You get what you pay for. We will certainly engage their services for many years to come. I also just signed a contract with Jeff for snow removal also. Highly, highly recommended!
