Since I live a few minutes away, I assured him I would be there right on time, if not a few minutes early. When I got there, long story short, I ended up waiting a good 20 minutes for someone to do my manicure and it was so awkward. Visiting family here in Boynton Beach celebrating a milestone birthday and the holidays. Needed a fresh pedicure to enjoy wearing sandals in December. We made same day reservations for 5:45pm on Dec 23, 2023. We were excited and grateful they would be able to accommodate us! Arrived on time and was seated right away. One young lady greeted us and sat us in two adjacent seats. She started to prepare to work on me but, I insisted she work on the birthday girl first. She told me someone else would be arriving shortly to care for me. A few minutes later a woman arrived and told me to put my feet into the empty tub. As she spoke to the to the gentleman who was working on the toes of the young lady to my left. She filled the tub with water and left. She came back and sat down in front of me. She never once made eye contact with me. When it came time for her to cut my cuticles it was obvious to me she was going thru the "motions" of cutting them. Ladies if you've ever gotten a pedicure, you can tell when they are actually being cut! Except for a cut or two, this woman was not cutting the entire cuticle. I asked her if she was cutting the cuticle? I had to ask her several times because she was not answering me. I then noticed she was wearing one IPOD and was totally engrossed in what she was listening to. So much so, the woman working beside her had to nudge her! I again asked her if she was actually cutting the cuticles? She said she was "smoothing" them out because she did not want to make them bleed. I was confused. I said to her that she's the professional right? She should be able to do the job without doing that, correct? I told her I did not want my cuticles "smooth", I wanted them gone! She went back to my left foot and properly removed the cuticles on my toes. When she worked on my right foot, she nicked my toe and made the cuticle bleed. I wholeheartedly believe she did this on purpose. She went to get warm towels for my feet. As she came back, she saw me taking a picture of my toe. She said, "See that's why I didn't want to cut it". I had had enough. I said to her that I needed someone else to finish my toes. She whispered to a few of the other nail tech's in the spa. After the dirty looks directed my way, another woman came to finish my pedicure. She tended to my cut cuticle and as I complained to her, told me she didn't know what happened but she was sorry I was not having a good experience. What struck me was the woman to my left. She heard and saw the entire interaction. As she was leaving she whispered to me that the first woman's attitude is the same with everyone. The woman said she is a regular customer and NEVER goes to that woman for any type of service. She said everyone else was pretty much amazing EXCEPT her! I have never had a more unpleasant experience in a nail salon. That woman was rude, indifferent and unprofessional. Her entire energy was negative and it is very clear she doesn't enjoy her job. Or even cares to be there at all. The young woman who gave my family member her pedicure was diligent, professional and did a fantastic job! $33.00 seems to be the going rate for a pedicure down here. For quality work and respectful service, I would have gladly felt like it was worth it. But, to be treated in this manner? It's a disgrace. read more

I love this salon. I came here one day randomly just pulled in during a run of errands and am so pleased, I keep coming back. Every technician Ive had do my Dip manicure and Gel pedicure have been phenomenal. I am very clear with what I want and if i need any adjustments through the process of my mani and pedi the technicians are always nice and will make sure that I am happy with my nails. I always request Nikki , she does a wonderful job and is sweet and easy to talk to. She always remembers me and asks about my family! Terrible. I have a fungus under all 10 nails and 10 toenails. I went to Venetian to look and feel better about myself and now I have a terrible fungus. The fungus is definitely from this place. It was my third and last time I'd ever go there! I was told that only one of my nails was lifting but it's ok for 3 more weeks as she painted liquid gel which I requested not knowing I'd get a disgusting nail fungus. The reason she painted my nails was because she was under pressure from the boss man to finish me asap. When I came back in for my new manicure & pedicure about 3 weeks later. The nail tech took my polish off and said that all my nails were lifting! My nails were thick, white, yellow, brownish underneath. The nail tech said to me, " You're know you are getting older and it may be your health because a nail fungus is green!" As I was getting my pedicure polish removed. I looked up nail fungus. A nail fungus can be white, thick, brown, yellow and green. I showed this to the nail tech. She said, "I didn't know, I thought a fungus was green!" Clean, busy, and wife recommended it, and she's never wrong. There are a few eateries, and now you look fabulous, you can show it off GF. The downside of the Spa is finding parking near it. There is free parking, but you must take a short walk. The other negative nuance that doesn't bother me is the speaking of Mandarin and Vietnamese between the employees. I mean, I see it has lower ratings on here, but it was exactly what it advertised. It was super fast, super professional service. I also adored the 90s alternative rock they were playing softly in the background. They have multiple tvs on, none of which were playing great shows, but that's just daytime TV for you. Ok, so this is my first Yelp review ever, only because of how disappointed I am. I've been frequenting this spot for years and though I moved 2 years ago, I still loyally go every time I visit home. I'm not sure at what point the quality diminished, but the last time I came was "meh" and this time I'm a little annoyed. Walked in for a gel mani / regular pedi. The woman doing my nails seemed nice enough, however paid absolutely no attention to detail when doing my nails. I am a habitual nail picker and don't have very pretty/tame cuticles, and she barely cut them. My nails are uneven lengths as she barely filed them, and for some reason kept looking behind my shoulder for much of the time. My gel polish has gaps in it. I don't feel it is the customer's responsibility to call things like that out, as it is expected that those things are paid attention to. It truly seemed as though she didn't give a care about creating quality work. A different woman did my pedicure, and did a good job with the exception of the fact that I asked for their most basic pedicure and am pretty sure I ended up getting a more expensive, massage inclusive one, which I didn't appreciate as I did not know the specifications of each tier. I loved this salon, and I really hope they get their game up again. After being scorned multiple times I can say it will be a long while before I return. read more

I Unfortunately, the employees at this location kept taking off their masks in the store which made me feel extremely uncomfortable given the zip code next door is a COVID hot spot in the county. All the guests were masked properly, and I know it is hard to wear a mask all day, but please know it makes some of your guests I'll at ease... especially those who live with immune compromised. 5 members of the staff I counted took off their masks for an extended period of time in the store. I tried to find an email to notify the owner, but could not find one anywhere so I guess I'll leave this here in case you are worried about Covid. I did enjoy the actual first pedicure out after being bunkered down for months. The pedicure instead was wonderful, I recommend the hot stones with the great long massage, but I wish they would ensure customer and employee safety a bit more. read more

Walked in on a busy Sunday afternoon. Was happy that they were able to have my sister and I as walk ins. We both wanted peaceful and relaxing manicures and pedicures but our first visit wasn't so pleasant. Sister couldn't find her specific color along the wall of OPI nail colors but finds a close match that has glitter to use for a pedicure. She checked gel/netgen colors, while a tech started both our pedicures. My natural nails are pretty long and I just wanted a basic manicure. Tech is annoyed I don't want gel. (Especially since she removed gel nail polish from my toes.) I have one broken nail and one previously broken nail that has an acrylic tip. I wanted the same repair on the broken nail. I try explaining this repeatedly to the tech but she seems to think I want to have my nails cut and have an acrylic full set. After several tries at explaining with the same miscommunications I no longer want a manicure. The tech is annoyed. Sister decides on a full set with same nail color as her toes. The tech is annoyed. Every time we say anything we get eye rolls and the women speak to each other in their native language. Sister and I speak in our native language how this has been the most complicated pedicure to date. Lastly when the woman tries to upscale the pedicure, I repeatedly tell her I don't want any scrubs applied to my skin because of previous negative experiences. Burn sensation followed by skin rash and scars that took weeks to heal. (I'm not allergic to anything!) She tries to explain that she will be tender. I explain I don't want ANY scrub or chemicals added to my skin. She added scrub to pumice stone and scrubs my feet. (I have dancers feet and also thought nothing could hurt the bottom of my feet.) I watch as she takes extra caution to not get the scrub on my feet. I relax for the first time since being seated into the chair for a few seconds just to have her dunk my feet in the water basin. The scrub she applied to the bottom of my foot is now burning up to my ankles and up the back of my left leg to nearly the calf. She immediately see her mistakes and starts to quickly rinse off my foot. At this time I'm trembling and biting my tongue in pain with tears in my eyes. The pain could only be described as a chemical burn of a permanent. My legs are trembling uncontrollably while she washes, paths dry, then paints my nails. The pain lessening slowly. I pay and wait as my sister gets her manicure. Checked in about 12:30p Sister texts "Are you ok?" 12:52p I wasn't .. I finish texting this review and feet still tingling. Sister's manicure and pedicure look good though. 1:12p 2:32p No more burning or stinking feeling but I have a rash on the left side of my leg. My pedicure does look ok though. read more

About 2 years ago I came to this salon for the first time with a girlfriend, the lady who did my nails at that time was quite nice but her acrylic work was kinda poor because it started to lift after a few days and she really burned me with the drill.. You could also tell that most of the staff at the time were really unenthusiastic about their job and were kinda stingy.. If you had asked me what i'd rate the experience, i would've given the place 2.5 stars honestly.. Flash forwards a couple years, i returned to the salon with some PTSD, praying that the experience wouldn't be as terrible as last time. Luckily today, i had one of the best experiences! My nail tech was named Frank and he was gentle, so patient and really fun to talk to! You could really tell he knew what he was doing and gave me exactly what i asked for. (I'd definitely recommend doing the dip technique over acrylic). Overall, the atmosphere of the place is quite pretty, but the place can get really busy, especially if you're a walk-in (then again, i was in a group of 5 this time so we completely understood). Admittedly, the receptionist was also a bit of a ditz.. she didn't estimate the timing and prices very well and didn't seem like she was really "there". In the end, as of today, my nails feel and look so much better (: the price for a full set of "healthy nails" was about 40$, but because i got a nail design on each finger (3$/each) it totaled to be 70$. Frank told me that they'd be good for about 2-3 weeks, i really hope so! read more

Five years ago I gave a them a three star review. I was in the area and decided to give them another chance, after all five years is a long time & things could have changed. They did change, and in my opinion not in a good way. My manicure was far from good, although the young nail tech did a great job with the polish. She was constantly checking her phone and it was annoying because she would stop what she was doing with my nails and I felt neglected. I wish she paid more attention to my nails and less attention to her phone. The girl who did my nails didn't do my pedicure. She did put a new liner in the basin and set me up. I asked her to please add the sanitizer to the water (the blue stuff) and she told me the person doing my pedicure would take care of that. She replaced the liner and filled up the basin, rolled up my jeans because my nails were wet but she couldn't add the sanitizer? What she failed to do is inform anyone I was ready for my pedicure. After fifteen minutes, my feet were freezing and I was annoyed they forgot about me. I asked another employee who was walking by to please get a manager for me. I told the manager what happened and she immediately removed my feet from the water and wrapped them in a towel. The manager was not happy that her nail tech left me there without telling anyone. My experience proceeded to get worse when another lady came over to do my pedi. Her attitude was sour and she was not very nice to me. I think she wanted to go home because she kept checking her watch. I wasnt feeling comfortable & I really just wanted to leave. I had to ask her three times to add the blue sanitizer. I asked to have the mid level pedi because of the longer massage time. Don't you just love getting your feet pampered? The massage is my favorite part of the pedicure and I was looking forward to it. My pedicure was not enjoyable at all. Extra massage time? Nope, didn't happen. Her approach was to combine the scrub with the lotion and just do one short massage instead of doing them individually. The polish was a disaster. Instead of applying the first coat to both feet & then doing the second coat, she did the two coats of polish one foot at a time. No surprise the polish is smudged and has bubbles. I won't be back & I don't feel comfortable recommending this Venetian. I highly recommend the Coconut Creek location which is my favorite and I always leave feeling relaxed and pampered. The Venetian on Military Trail in Boca is also very good. To end this review on a positive note, the salon is clean and they have a large selection of nail polishes. Starbucks is next door so that's also a plus. read more

I will not be coming back to this establishment. I've tried to give the many chances to redeem themselves and every time I just leave disappointed!!! The quality of the nail is fine but the charges that they offer on top is completely ridiculous .I got the coffin nails which is $5 extra which is perfectly fine with me but they considered my nails long and charged me an extra 5$ on top of them which my nails are definitely not long.(see picture) . I've been through this before with them and specifically didn't get them long this time just to not be charged extra for length and I still was. Make sure if you're requesting a two person pedicure that they actually have the availability for it. Went to get pedi with my husband and they said they had the availability to accommodate. My husband got his service immediately meanwhile I sat in the chair next to him. After 15 min I politely asked when someone would be starting on me and the woman said yes that someone would be coming. In total I waited 25 min for them to start my service, the same time they were puncturing the bag for my husband. Terrible nail salon. The manicure was so bad I declined moving forward on the pedicure. The first color she used you would see the streaks of the color after 3 coats!! It looked clumpy on the parts that were solid. She blamed it on the color. I picked another color but I knew she was the problem. The second attempt... I have bubbles on about 3 of the nails. The color is either on top or awkwardly covering the tip of my cuticle. Just horrible.. Also, I'd like to mention this salon needs a good scrub down. It's not well maintained. I've been getting my nails done by Venetian salons for the past three years and this location is by far the worst in terms of skill. The salon isn't familiar with up to date nail shapes including coffin and stiletto shapes. It's extremely hard to communicate as majorly of them have a very low level of English comprehension. I left today with two different lengths of nail but also two different shapes. I couldn't let her continue. Please train your staff on what's new and in style as not everyone there wants short square nails. read more

Awful experience today! The lady who did my wife's pedicure wasn't paying attention to her at all! She was too busy talking on her phone. She cut her nail diagonal at a weird angle. She was very rough when doing her legs, and because she was on the phone, she kept rubbing her right leg and didn't rub her left leg at all, my wife tried telling her but she didn't pay attention and she kept rubbing the same spot. And her response to was that my wife is too sensitive! She didn't notice the callous on her toe and I had to point it out to her or else she would have skipped it. On top of all this, she criticized my wife's choice of nail polish color and was sarcastic when She said that's the color she wanted. My wife had a tough week and wanted a relaxing pedicure and it was anything but that. We will not be coming back here. read more
