I've been coming to this salon for almost 10 years. I'm now living on Singer Island (about a 20 minute drive) with countless salons that are closer to my home, but I still continue to travel to this salon in Boynton Beach to see my friends at Oxygenix. Why, you may ask? Well, first, there are So. Many. Colors. Including gel/dip powder/regular polish, not leaving out that I've seen some amazing, intricate acrylic nails being done there, too. I've experienced nothing but kindness and patience... which is hard to find as a customer it seems in this type of business. I've had a few techs within those 10 years. But I'd highly recommend Lilly, Iris, and absolutely Philip. Phillip is the man. Very efficient and a perfectionist with 15+ years in the business. I came here twice just to be sure about how I felt. They have tons of colors here, which I really liked. Kristina did my pedi and nexgen both times I visited the salon. Pedicures were pretty good both times. No complaints. Nexgen however, not so much. Both times I left with dried powder stuck too far on my nail bed with thick, uneven nails. I had nexgen done on my nails. When I went to pick out a color, I was told for nearly half of the colors that they didn't have it. After requesting and being declined 4 colors, I finally found an available color, but when she applied it to my first nail, it didn't turn out looking like the sample color they had on display so we went to go pick another color. When she finished my nails, they were thick but that's on the lady, not the company. Lastly, my nails lasted me about 2 weeks before the shiny top coat began peeling off on all my nails. In the 5+ years of doing NexGen, this has NEVER happened to any of my nails from the variety of salons I've been to. I also wasn't doing anything that would cause them to peel. I paid $45 for removal of my previous NexGen and the new set. Yes it's cheaper, but the quality of products is not good. read more

Make reservations! Although this is a giant salon, they were super busy. My friend and I made reservations to have our nails done a week and half before Christmas, and they had a nail technician ready for her, but mine took another 10 minutes. The best part about Oxygenix Nail Lounge is their gigantic wall of OPI bottles!! They have the largest OPI color selection I've ever seen, and they also have a huge selection of Infinite Shine colors ($3 extra). They also had a large variety of colors for Essie and other brands, as well as Shellac options. I really liked that they use a plastic bag in the foot tubs so it's more sanitary. I opted for the basic Spa Pedicure ($25, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=svkgAklpxOJ2vtT_M2od0g&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg), which comes with a foot massage. My first time coming to this nail salon! I had a pleasant experience. I made an appointment ahead of time. When I arrived, there was a slight wait but I walked around to find a color and was impressed with how big the salon was. They had so many salon techs working as well. Walking around I noticed that they performed many services. Looked like they had 2 massage / wax rooms. They also had a neat area that looked like a bar. You can sit down there with high stools and a nail tech works behind the bar counter on you. Very cool! By the time I was called, I was taken to a comfy spa pedicure setting. They cleaned the area and made sure I was comfortable. There's also a self-remote to help you with a massage. The pedicure came out really good and I was pleased with the overall environment. The spa pedicure only cost me $25. I didn't realize that this salon does not take tips unless it's cash. Good thing I had some cash on me!! However, definitely something to note. read more

This was my first time coming to Oxygenix. The place is spotless. I was extremely impressed. I was a couple of minutes early for my appointment. The receptionist was pleasant and told me I was a few minutes early but Mia would be with me shortly. She asked me to please pick out my color and gave me a menu to pick out what I wanted to have done. My appointment was for 2:15 and exactly 2:15, Mia was ready for me. Mia was absolutely wonderful. She gave me a great pedicure and did a wonderful job on shaping my nails. Her hands are like magic and I had a wonderful leg and foot massage. It was fabulous. I tried Oxygenix because it was close to the Sit and Smoke Cigar bar and I figured my husband can go and smoke a cigar while I had a pedicure. I used to be a faithful customer but not anymore. The last two times I've had subpar nail service and this recent occasion has turned me off for good. My pedicure was done half heartedly as if the lady was just trying to hurry me up but my nails were horrific. I didn't think it was possible to mess up a simple French tip but this place proved me wrong. I asked for Nexgen but she put acrylic, I didn't say anything because I thought at least the design would be the similar to the one I requested. But once she was done I was holding back tears. I think I've already made a review here but thought I would update. If you want your nails done freakin AMAZINGLY- schedule with Iris. I see Iris every time because she's the best nail tech I've ever seen. I've been going with her for 2 years now at least. It looks like Tracy also does good nails reviewing my last review. ABSOLUTELY BEWARE OF APRIL!!! She not only messed up my gel manicure (I had to go back very next day because it started chipping off within an hour), but my cuticles are a disaster. My mom had an appointment with her today (because Iris was busy and I tried to get her an appointment with ANYONE ELSE but April, but life is funny like that), and all April wanted to do was brag about herself and complain about fixing my mothers nails (very rude, it's her JOB), she wanted to charge extra for "using extra acrylic to fix ONE nail", and she was so slow it took her 1.5 hours for a fill and gel polish. My mom said never mind about the stickers she wanted on them. I will be calling to personally speak with the manager. read more

I walked in to get ombré full set nails which they do with nexgen and the nail technician (think his name is Darren, a young guy) told me it's $70 which is already on the high priced side. I agreed with price and showed him a picture of exactly what I wanted, he showed me one nail finished and I told him I'd like the tips to be a whiter color not so transparent he got an attitude and said he'd have to take it off and charge me another $10 dollars to use another white powder. I've been doing my nails forever and have done ombré many times over never have I paid 80 for ombré set let alone an extra charge for color. I ended up just leaving with the tips he glued on without even a powder fill in and went to another salon. And still charged me 15 for taking off my old nails and gluing on tips No manager to talk to ... just unorganized from the receptionist to prices It was just a mess never again !!! read more

Ok, so I wanted to remove my powder to be removed and have a clean up and clear coat done. I made an appointment 30 minutes prior so no one would feel rushed. A guy came to me first and then I was told to go to another chair. After that they were talking about something and you know it's in reference to what's going on around you. Then, she took them off and put cuticle oil on them and told me I was finished and she had someone waiting behind me. I politely said I asked for a clear coat and she was look like she didn't want to do it. She told me to sit behind he table which I thought was inappropriate if you were dealing with me first. I decided you know that it was rude to take someone and then come back to me. I got up and left to pay. I'm from New York and they don't even do that. Very nice large salon!! A huge variety of nextgen about 100 colors as well as your gel or natural. Tons of selections see pics! Massage chairs are comfy and give great massages all it needs is heat! I have never gotten my nails done as poorly as I have today. My regular nail lady at a different store was completely booked and I had to get my nails done ASAP because of work. I called early in the morning and made an appointment. The lady who did my nails did the worst job I have ever had in my entire life. Not a single one of my nails matches the other one, they're crooked, I know I said I wanted short tips but I didn't realize that meant basically nonexistent , and even a few of them are lumpy. Cindy, the lady who did my nails, I guess was unhappy that I move around too much and swatted my hand. I have never not tipped someone, whether it be a hairstylist, server, or a nail technician but today was a first. I called back about ten minutes later after getting my nails done because I couldn't power through how ugly they were and no managers were there. I'm stuck paying $40 for disgusting nails and will ultimately have to pay even more money to get them fixed. Edit: I don't care if this seems childish but I got a call back from the salon and they offered to fix them, "try to even then out" and I said I just want a refund and they apparently don't do refunds. Sorry, you guys messed up my nails horribly when I *did* pay for them, I rather not see how much worse you can make them for free. Seriously DO NOT GO HERE. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEARTACHE. read more

Beware, I got 2 fungus on my nails from this place from a service I recieved in June 2019.... I've been coming to Oxygenix for more than a year but unfortunately my visit on July 6 is my last visit to them. My last 3 visits here have not been good but the owner tried to make it right by giving me a discount on my services. I always get nextgen but my troubles over the last 3 visits have ranged from broken nails with 1 week (while typing at work), nails lifting within the first week (the salons policy is only for issues within the first 3 days otherwise you pay AGAIN) and nails peeling because the tech didn't follow proper procedures for sealing nextgen. Although I didn't have great experiences I hoped that it was just a fluke since the times before my nails were fine. Well this last visit is the final one after they soaked off my nextgen we discovered that 2 of my nails have green fungus on them AND one nail broke midway and was bleeding under the nail because of lifted nails. My dip nails would get done every 3 weeks but shouldn't lift at all when you have a competent tech but 4 of my nails lifted and during my 7/6 service I was told there's a chance I would get an infection on the broken nail if it's dipped. So besides have several injured nails, I got 2 fungus nails, terribly painted pedicure and got a cut on my finger from the nail drill so I'm no longer returning to Oxygenix! read more

I love this nail salon. Oxgenix is the best nail salon in Boynton, the staff is always friendly you can actually have a conversation while doing your nails. I've been coming here for 2 years, anyone who reads this review should definitely give it a try. All the employees are licensed and they also do an amazing job. My favorite employee is ***BJ*** he does amazing shape he gets my shape every single time and he's great at nexagen and doing ombre.
