do not come here. when I first moved to the area I started getting my nails done here. I've been coming here for 10 years and in the last 2 or 3, I've had the worst experience ever. the quality of services has gone so downhill, management is not accommodating, they just bleed you dry and throw their hands up. my cuticles are cut, my nails are breaking, and I got them done 2 days ago DIP...2 DAYS AGO, and it's breaking and lifting. I called and spoke with management and she refused to give my money back saying I paid for a service that was redeemed. My initial reviews still stands and great service still remains after so many years. Shawn at the front desk always takes care of my appointments and make sure everything is accommodated nicely. He knows how extremely particular I am about my nails, so he only refers me to the best. Although everyone there are good. Appointments are continuously still preferred for your favorite nail techs. I won't disclose who I now go to now since my girl is ALWAYS booked, which makes it difficult to get her on my preferred days and times. But I always get the Venetian pedicure with her and she always does a great job. I also get dip nails with another nail tech, and I love the way it comes out. Rarely any lifts and lasts almost forever! The polish rack/ shelf is always well organized and I love the variety of shades and colors. Definitely can be overwhelming with so many choices, but your nail tech will always try their best to help you out with your choices. And even if you can't choose between more than one color, you can take a pic of the color at the bottom of the bottle and save that choice for next time! Pro tip: make sure you bring cash to tip your nail techs. It makes it easier for everyone instead of tipping on credit card. Also the nail techs would very much appreciate it!! read more

I would truly give this place zero stars if I could. I have tried this place now three times, and every time I have walked out of there either in tears, or angry but always dissatisfied. Several weeks ago I set an appointment with a specific nail technician because I have seen her work, and it is absolutely beautiful. I have been hanging on to an Inspo picture for Valentine's Day for a year now, and it was now time to get my Valentine's Day/wedding anniversary nails done. I have my appointment and I show up early. I am told when it is time for my appointment that one of the technicians clients for the afternoon decided to come in early and she is now doing their nails instead. I asked, so someone came in early and I got bumped? They said yes. They then put me with someone else who they said was excellent. This place knows nails!! We've been coming here for about a year now and initially we would do walk-in's and accept any nail technician until we found which ones we really liked. Our favorite technicians so far are Vivian, Sally, Tracy (Tracy used be known as Jessie) and one gentleman I forget his name but he's a cool cat with slick (faux hawk) hair and reminds me of an Asian version of Johnny Bravo! But I re-shared a photo of him. If anyone remembers I would be so grateful! UPDATE: He messaged me!! Yay!! His name is Jimmy and ladies hands down, he does quality work!! Anyway, these folks do a phenomenal job and I usually call to make appointments for me and my daughters. The quality of work always impresses me and they last so long! I highly recommend the dipping nails!! All I can say is every time I'm out of town traveling and get my nails done somewhere else, I immediately can't wait to go back home so my favorite technicians can redo my nails!! I I asked for a refill and I had on the Nails for two weeks yesterday I decided to take them off and go to my regular nail tech and she found a fungus. It's a decent place to get your nails done. They have a very quick rushed process for walk in's which I felt was a bit uninviting. but all of the technicians were very nice. The one who did my nails was very rough and when she noticed some of the glitter polish got on my finger she proceeded to try to use the sand block to take it off instead of using acetone. Left my finger stinging. Also to take the cuticles off of my nails she sanded them with the electric sander that they use for the fake nails and when I told her not to she said oh it's because your cuticles are so bad. Well I have in the past had a less rushed approach in which my nails were soaked and then they took off the dead skin and cuticles very carefully. I've had better technicians but overall can't say I'm not happy with how they turned out. The pedicure was very nice just got a basic one and the technician was very kind and gentle. I've been coming to Venetian for a very long time because it is super clean, the massaging chairs are terrific, there are big tv's to watch in the pedicure bays, and they always have a ton of nail techs on staff. They offer spa-like touches like always asking if I want anything to drink during my service and warm towel wraps at the end of a pedi. Even when the location is super busy, the wait is never long. Went there the other day with my friend, both got manicures. My lady didn't talk much and just wanted it to be done. My friends lady was very personable and was laughing with her, asking her name, offering drinks. My color came out different from what I wanted-my fault But my nails also came out with a few bubbles, squared and rounded on different nails and the top clear coat is already fading and peeling away after 2 days. My mom once asked her regular nail tech(not rudely just asked) why do you guys charge so much more than some other places and the lady looked at my mom and said "we're in the vintage so we can" kinda snobby! I had my eyebrows waxed and left with a few burns on my eye. At the time I left, my brow area was red from the waxing and it was uncomfortable but until awhile later, I didn't look in the mirror to see that it was in fact burned! I called the manager and told him and even texted a picture to him. He asked what medicines I was on because those can impact how easily I would burn. I said that I was not on any medications and the burns were only on one eye. He basically said he was sorry and offered me a free eyebrow wax. Why would I go back there for an eyebrow wax after this? My wife and daughter went in for a pedi. The tech was not able to do my daughter's nails as asked. She was also shown photos. In the end the polish was removed as it was so poorly done. My wife was talked into expensive upgrades with little explanation. When she left they charged for all even though my daughters had to be removed. I had to go back and ask for a refund. This is not the first time I have had a bad experience with this Venetian location. A couple months ago I took my daughter and her friend in for mani/pedi. Also talked into expensive upgrades with no explanation. Our bill came to over $500. Would not go back. Many more places to get your nails done for less with more care and expertise. read more

The nails did not chip at all even after nearly a month.
