Been here twice now for pedicures and they are great! Very friendly, clean and efficient. They have a good selection of colors and I like that they use disposable liners for the foot tubs. Their prices are comparable for the area ($25 for a basic pedicure) and they are super convenient for me, so I do believe I will be back whenever my toes are in need.

My stiletto nails that I got compliments on DAILY by Nina.

This place has gone way down hill from when I used to be a regular. I remember having to make appts and waiting cause it was busy. It was very dead when I walked in. The lady scraped my toes too much and they burned when they were dipped back in the water. The price I agreed on and the services rendered were not what I chose. I will just have to locate a better salon in the future.

Love this place!!!!!!! Nails are the BEST!!!!! love Lien, Daisy, and Leah!!!!!!! The massages are THE BEST!!!!! And the wine --- endless!!!

So this is my first time here and definitely the last My nail tech was rushing and being really aggressive while doing my nails to the point that it hurt, I asked her to file a nail down because it wasn't even and she said "no I'm not done yet" Anyway they're so uneven, crooked, and lumpy

My experience here was great! Greeted with a smile when I walked in the door and quickly put into a chair. This is the full set I got, she continuously made sure that I was getting exactly what I wanted. I will be back!

Finish product. Was charged $30 for a manicure for my 12 year old daughter

I called at 11:35 AM and asked how much it would be for a manicure for my daughter who is 12 years old. The woman that answered the phone stated $15. I said okay I'd like to make an appointment. When I agreed to the time of 4PM she said "oh my manager said it will be $20." Should have taken that as a red flag but went in because my daughter wanted to be pampered. During the appointment they kept laughing and speaking in their native tongue but I kept hearing the word "shellac". At the end of the appointment the receptionist said the amount is $30. I asked why and the nail tech who wore glasses and was sitting 3 tables in said my daughter had big hands. The receptionist said we thought she was a smaller girl. How rude and condescending. My daughter asked in the car " is it bad that I have big hands?" She didn't cry but she was hurt and that should have never came out of those ladies mouths. That was rude and I will be reporting to every platform including the better business bureau. As a business that serves people should either build people up or shut up. The photo is the finished product and is not worth $30. My 12 year old daughter and her beautiful hands will find a shop that doesn't scam people because of the way they look.

first time getting acrylics
Elvi C.

I always go to Ali and he never does me wrong. Ever since he did my nails the first time, I have always called to request him again. The first time he did my nails, I had true acrylics done for the first time for a fancy event (I was naive). The results were beautiful but they really damaged my natural nails and were a huge pain to remove. The next time I came in, Ali was able to offer me the healthier option of dip powder, which had a similar look to acrylics but was a lot less thick and could be done on both natural nails and false ones. I've never gone back! There are so many dip powder options and Ali even lets me use the acrylic powders and they work great. He has been amazing with letting me experiment a bit with layering solid powders and glittery ones and the results are always great. Dip powder lasts long and it keeps your natural nails in decent shape even after they are removed. My only complaint is how drying the acetone is when dip powder is being removed. I guess that's part of the process though. This nail salon also makes it possible to get a manicure and pedicure done at the same time. Pedicures are super sanitary and the use a plastic lining over the foot sinks (I forget the real word). I don't have a preference in a nail artist for my pedicures because I always get white French tips, which are simple enough. From what I've noticed, it's always hit or miss for decent French tips, but it's not too big of a deal to me because it's just my toe nails. Also fiy, there's a loyalty card for this nail salon, so take advantage of it for a free pedicure eventually!

It isn't everyday that I get my nails done so when I do I expect quality service. That is exactly what I received during my first visit to Pink Nail Spa. I noticed the door invited walk-ins and was warmly greeted upon entry of the establishment! I was asked what services I was looking to have performed on me and seated with a technician immediately. The receptionist offered me a selection of various beverages and asked if I needed anything to let her know right away. I showed the technician a picture from Pintrest of the design I desired and she quickly got to work. I had to agree to a few adjustments along the way because unfortunately they did not have the metallic gold polish required for the look. In it's place they provided a thin, gold foil, sticker to trim the tip of my nail. Each strip was carefully cut and delicately placed. During my service a woman advertising for a local cupcake bakery offered the receptionist a sample box of cupcakes which she in turn offered to her customers! I enjoyed a super moist red velvet topped with cream cheese frosting. Yum! The other customers seemed to be enjoying their visit as well. A woman a few chairs down from me was getting tiny hearts molded from acrylic on top her nail. She had also got her design idea from Pintrest. She had previous visited the salon before Christmas for a Mickey Mouse silhouette, also molded from acrylic, and was just now weeks later getting them removed. Another customer receiving a pedicure engaged in a prayer. Her technician continued to tend to her unbothered. It was beautiful! This is a salon that encourages creativity, welcomes all people with exceptional service, and supports other local businesses! I am highly satisfied with my experience and recommend Pink Nail Spa as your next salon visit!

Weird pointy manicure with no polish. Horrible service!
Ambrianna F.

I went two days ago and had the worst manicure ever!!! She cut my nails to points, refused to put polish on them (what????) and made me bleed. TWICE. I've previously had great service here, but I won't be going back if that's how they're going to treat repeat customers. It's going to take weeks for my nails to grow out enough that I can have them fixed! Huge waste of 20 bucks.

Dipping powder and shellac
Thu-Thao T.

My mom and I had an amazing experience today. The salon is very clean. It was my first time doing dipping powder and shellac for my nails. I am disabled and cannot spread my fingers without assistance. My technician, Phuong, was so patient and helpful. She would do one nail, dry it, and alternate with my other hand so that my fingers would not accidentally touch each other. She is super sweet and easy to talk to. I forgot to get her English name, but I will definitely come back!

The pedicure with Ali was great. I did not think manicure was worth the money..have pictures of my nails 24 hours later

Nail tech: Anne.
Bethany F.

Anne did my nails. I love them! I asked for one nail to have glitter. The first time she put it on, I didn't like it, so she took it off and re did it. She had no issues with doing what I wanted! (I've had nail techs in the past give attitude towards me for not liking their work because I ask them to re do it). It was refreshing to have a nail tech actually care that I was happy!

The nail salon

I've been looking around for a good go- to nail salon in this area. After browsing through reviews on Yelp, I figured I check this place out first since it was the closest to me. Here are the pros and cons. PROS: 1.everyone was really friendly and i was greeted right away. No one likes that awkward silence of waiting at the door for someone to acknowledge you entered. 2. They offered a drink. Some places do forget to do this. 3. Gina my manicurist was excellent with her hand/arm massage; very sweet lady. 4. The place was clean and organized. CONS: 1.I wish all nail techs understand that it really annoys the customer a bit when you constantly ask repeatedly to do a more expensive service. No, means no. I do NOT want a shellac pedicure (i was asked 4 times). I originally walked in with a classic mani/pedi in mind, but of course i got suckered into getting the one with the wax & hot towel lol "just __ dollar more" right (in my Anjela Johnson voice). 2.However, the 4th time I told a gentlemen i did not want the shellac pedicure, he proceeded to let me know that if i did not do shellac, he would have to charge me an extra $5 to remove it. Then he recommended that I go ahead and do the shellac to avoid the $5 fee for only "$15" more. Does that make any one else feel pressured and pushed to a corner. Like I have to pay a minor "extra" if i refused to do the major extra. In that moment, i put my foot down and downgraded to the basic pedi and mani instead. I usually always say yes to everything, but didn't feel that was fair. 3.Yet, when it was time to do the mani, they didn't give me the basic like i requested. And since it was being done with my eyes closed (trying to relax here) and she already started with the paraffin wax on my arms, I didn't bother to complain. 4.Next con- even though the sweet lady was excellent with her massage skills, she lack the ability to paint my entire nail (i guess i can't have the cake and eat it too). My biggest pet peeve at a salon. How do you color as a kid? Leave a cm between the color and the black line? No! I had to ask her to redo several of them multiple times. I will say this though. She fixed it promptly in a very polite manner. So i appreciate that. Some ppl get annoyed, take deep breaths, roll their eyes and start speaking their language, but Gina was very sweet. She also mistakenly put on matte top coat for me and since she's not great with complete coverage you can see where the matte ends. So there's a tiny strip of shiny glitter coat on each nail (you'll see in the photo) 5.Another con was my pedi. The lady in glasses was very rough with my feet. For example, when she buffed off my nail polish with the coarse filer she literally brushed over my cuticles and skin every time. And when your doing it fast, it hurts. Even when she painted over the skin and she used her nail to remove it, it hurt me every time. Her massage was also a tad painful. Feels great on the feet but too hard on the calves. From my experience, when u ask them to adjust and take it easy it'll end up being a very light, flimsy massage, so i didn't bother to complain. 6. Now payment- they ask you to pay prior to ending the service which is fine, but they stand and watch you add the tip. In that moment you're like, "if i don't tip the amount they want, the rest of the service will not be up to par. But if i over tip, and the rest of the service didn't improve, they wouldn't have deserved the extra tip". It's very awkward! Ok, final complaint of the night! 7. I was told by a regular that they usually give you a lil shoulder massage with your service. I witnessed it when I walked in too, but I did not receive a shoulder massage. Maybe my tip theory was right (but hey i gave her 20%). Overall, was it great enough to not continue to explore my options in the area? No. Was it bad enough to never go back? I wouldn't say so either. It was an ok experience, not the best, not the worse, and good luck finding them on Google Maps. The end! ^_^ 12/24/16 edit. The polish bothered me so much throughout the day. Being able to see the shiny border along my nail and the matte center. I thought to myself man i spent 60 bucks for this. I could have done a better job myself at home. I deserve to get this rectified, this isn't what i paid for. Gave them a call, told them the situation, they said they'd fix it when i go in. Their idea of fixing it was slapping another layer of top coat on. Then accused me of causing it to turn matte by whatever I put on there. I didn't put anything on my nails! Now you can see the variation even worse because of the different layers. And she still didn't cover the entire nail so it didn't fix anything. I will not return and surely do not recommend any one to go here. I'm sorry...

I saw a design here in the pictures and just changed the color and tweaked some of the design along with my nail technicians suggestions and I have never been happier! I probably will never go to another nail place again and I will be coming back here and more frequently getting my nails done.

As a licensed aesthetician, I know that the proper way to walk someone is first cleanse the skin with witch hazel and then put baby powder to make sure the wax does not stick too much to the skin. Well I don't typically wax I get threaded but there's nowhere in Tomball to get threaded, so I settled with waxing right before an event. I went in the place looked nice and clean. I was seen right away. When the lady started dipping into the wax I asked her if she could cleanse my skin first she looked annoyed went to the back room and grab some sort of facial towelettes that look like the ones you use for make up removal. I thought strange that they don't just have some witch hazel. After she cleansed my lip she immediately put on the wax my heart stopped because I was like oh my god where is the baby powder. But by then it was too late. One minute after I was waxed I knew I was burned. The skin was raw and fresh. It was really red but I knew it was gonna look even worse in the following days. I went back and after 10 minutes because my lip was on fire and asked for more aloe. I got another annoyed look and a small squirt of aloe. Honestly I should ask for my money back but I know how that goes in these kind of places. Won't bother. Moral of the story to the owners: I know it's not typical protocol for these kind of nail salons, because sure maybe most people skin is not this sensitive . But you definitely need to have some witch hazel and baby powder in case somebody is sensitive. If you have sensitive skin I really recommend either going somewhere with that waxes correctly or just pray to God that they come up with a threading salon somewhere.
