No matter who you see, the quality is great--which I really appreciate since I often go on short notice. I visited on a Thursday evening for a classic mani / pedi. Ken was my technician and he is fabulous! He provided excellent service, was both kind and hospitable, and his leg massage was perfection. The salon was very clean and late evening hours seem rather peaceful. The equipment was in good condition and I have no complaints whatsoever. I was very impressed and made an appointment to return in a few weeks. Keep in mind there is a convenience fee for credit cards so I recommend bringing cash. Definitely very clean and well maintained! I usually book my appointments in advance with Mike! He can be a bit rough sometimes, but my nails always come out great! The only thing I wouldn't recommend here is the chrome nails. They don't really have chrome samples to show you to choose from so whatever chrome they do, it can be a hit or miss and it may or may not match the picture you show them. I would suggest doing the cat eye instead! Also, highly recommend showing your nail tech exactly what kind of nails you want so they can try to match it. read more

Don't waste your time or money. Went 2 days ago for dip mani and reg pedi. Cost was $82. Result sub par. There were scuffs on most nails. I called spoke to Larry (owner/manager) he said to come back and he will have it fixed. They use gel w dip resulting in think uneven nails. The second product is worse than the first. I am now at sunshine nails on Indiantown for a fix. So now we are looking at 4 hours of my time in the past 2 days that I can't get back The staff doesn't care. I requested a refund because my nails came out nothing like the reference photo and I was extremely unhappy with the quality of the service. I was told, "We don't do refunds," despite spending nearly two hours in the salon and leaving completely dissatisfied. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was put on the phone with someone named Scott, who claimed to be the manager. Later, I was given the impression that I was not actually speaking with management, which made the situation even more frustrating and unprofessional. I am celebrating my birthday and have important meetings coming up, so I expected a much higher level of service and customer care. The salon offered to redo my nails within five days, but after the way this situation was handled, I have no interest in returning. Why would I trust a business that appears to be dishonest about who is managing customer complaints? I was also told that the owner would be shown photos of my nails and would follow up with me. I never received a response. The entire experience was disappointing, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I will continue following up until this issue is addressed. Every nail is shaped differently and I have no idea what kind of coating they put on top that made them look weirdly glossy and thick. $50 spent and I'll have to go get them redone somewhere else. . I really don't like leaving bad reviews but the vibe of the place had nothing to do with it, great location and it was really pretty inside. However my regular place I go to for pedicures was busy, and my co-worker and I made a spur of the moment last minute decision to go, I called ahead and asked if two walk ins were welcomed to which we were. They offer you a beverage or complimentary glass of wine which was really nice. I chose a color and was greeted right away. I sat and she had asked if my water was nice and hot which it felt great, then about the time she turned it off to start the pedicure the water was chilled and cold, and as was my co-workers who came with, which didn't bother me too bad. It was more so that the process felt very rushed, little to no massage, and she just moved quick. Two of my toes ended up getting messed up in the process which she did indeed fix up, but I still have a smudge from where the paint in on my skin and it wasn't the best experience for me. Custmor service was great and everyone was nice but the service done was not good. I asked for a dip with tip manicure and ended up with him doing gel instead without permission, my nails are extremely thick, uneven, and way shorter than I asked for. the design as well was a very simple polka dot design which he claimed he could do but the dots are uneven and look like a 2 year old did them. not only was the manicure executed poorly these were extremely expensive 90$ for a poor job is unacceceptable and I will not be returning here as there are plenty of cheaper and better nail salons in the area. read more

He did fantastic. I showed him a picture of the Valentine's Day nails I was requesting and he did a perfect job to make them exactly the same. He also did a great job on my pedicure with extra attention to detail. If you want great acrylic nails, ask for Charlie. I have been going to this place for over 2 years, it is verycleann. I have to say Nicole and Ken are both AMAZING. They do such an AMAZING job with my nails, it has been a struggle to find anyone who can do them right but I have found the perfect nail techs !! This is my second time trying venetian nail spa of Alton. I definitely will not be coming back a third time. The decor is beautiful and the location is great but other than that, this place is extremely unruly. The first time I was trying to relax and enjoy my pedicure which I could not because of the rap music blasting loud with words of profanity!! Quite puzzling there would be music with profanity when the place looks so lavish. When Checking in and when checking out both receptionists looked miserable and spoke rudely. All the staff looked unhappy. The only reason there was a second visit was because my friend suggested to try it again. This second time experience was far worst than the first. Every time I would close my eyes to enjoy my pedicure I was met with an extremely loud, over the top, highly exaggerated laugher coming from the girl sitting in the front row furthest to the right. She was also speaking-yelling so loud to the other employees in a foreign language around her while doing a client. Highly unprofessional. I could hear everything even while I was sitting in the back pedicure room. It was so bad that when she struts to the back of the salon, I thought finally I can relax. That was not the case. I could still hear her ear piercing laughter and yelling. It was extremely obnoxious and really disturbing. I specifically asked her to take her time .. plus I brought my own base coat, top coat and color polishes. Sadly, this tech barely touched my cuticles. My friend and I walked in as walk-ins, got right in. The place was beautiful and clean. Right away I told the lady doing my pedicure (Farrah) that I need a tip on my toe and she understood and said that's okay. She made the water way too hot I probably stuck my feet in about 3 times and still told her it was burning hot. I took my feet out to do the pedicure and my feet were very red. She started my pedicure and forgot to add my tip. When I asked her that I wanted to the tip when she started doing the polish she told me she can't do it anymore. I always look forward to the massage part and when she finished painting my toes I asked if you do massages and she said yes but never did one.
