This is my first time getting professionally waxed. I am a guy and I wanted to remove hair on my neck. I have sensitive neck skin and shaving causes ingrown hairs, bumps and rashes. I met Diana. She told me to come back in 3 days because I recently shaved and the hair needed to grow up for a better, less painful wax. I came back three days later. I was nervous because I was told my multiple family members the waxing could hurt a lot because of my course hair. Diana was professional. We did 3 rounds of waxing and it was not as painful as I anticipated. She did such a good job. The hair is completely removed and before leaving she applied a transparent cream to sooth but honestly it was not painful after. Just a little red and mildly sore. I was a happy client for several years buying package after package but then had 3 bad experiences in a row. When I asked to speak with a manager I was told she would call me. That never happened so I followed up and was basically told "too bad" and that I could go to another location if I wasn't happy. It's clear they know you are locked in for a long time with the package purchases and don't really care if you are a satisfied customer. Really disappointing. read more

It was quick and easy and we had a really nice conversation. The location was clean and in a shopping center with lots of other businesses. Definitely recommend! read more

I am furious! I cancelled my membership months ago (July). They called me in October saying my cc on file expired. I told them this membership was cancelled in July and they should not need my card. Today i received a call from the manager saying I owed a balance for a package that i bought in July. How can I owe a balance on services not received? This is the craziest thing I've ever heard of. Just because of this experience, I will NEVER go back to EWC. read more

Yikes! Had a terrible experience here recently. I decided I wanted a refund for the rest of my package but was told that it was non-refundable for the services I hadn't used yet. I contacted corporate and they sent me back to EWC Jupiter who never contacted me back. I feel sorry for other EWCs who get a bad reputation from the customer service at EWC jupiter. Enjoyed my treatments here until I took a last minute appointment with a waxer I didn't know. LAYLA gave me UNEVEN BROWS and obviously DID NOT LISTEN when I explained how I had grown out my brows for months so they would be thick. SHE GAVE ME ONE THIN BROW! I was extremely upset and told the front desk, they comped me a free brow wax but it hardly makes a difference for me considering I now have to tweeze my other brow more which will make BOTH BROWS THIN and RUIN MONTHS of patiently growing them out. read more

Watch out for additional charges to your credit card! The Jupiter staff charged my credit card (on file) without my knowledge or consent. I called to address the charge and the "store manager" was unpleasant. I'll visit the other EWS to fulfill my commitment. read more

I missed my appointment at 11 and the front desk was kind enough to squeeze me in at 11:45 instead. Stacy was my esthetician and she was amazing. I let her have free range over my eyebrows since they were over grown anyways and she killed it. They look awesome. I also had a full Brazilian. Being a plus sized girl I was nervous and insecure and she made me feel like it was no big deal. I'm thankful for her kindness and her professionalism as well as her real down to earth personality. (Not to mention her skill. I had absolutely zero pain through out this whole process) I didn't feel like I was being judged or sold anything to. It felt like hanging out with a friend. Who just happens to be waxing my butt haha. I got the student package which was great cause now I have my next 3 appointments already paid for. They will wax your nose hairs!! Sounds like terrible right? Well try sleeping with a CPAP Machine... this makes using the breathing machine to treat sleep apnea better. It doesn't hurt as much as plucking them individually, and it's cheap. Might not be for everyone, but if you struggle with a CPAP OR APAP Machine try it. Tell them I sent u so I can get the referral bonus.. kidding, just a tip for fellow yelpers! read more

This was my first Brazilian wax ever. My appointment was with Jade; she was absolutely amazing. She got right to the work so it wasn't awkward at all. She was friendly, funny, and she kept the whole thing very casual. I was nervous at first, but it didn't last long at all. Overall the pain isn't that bad - it only lasts a few seconds! Jade was also very informative about the process and the hair growth. I left more educated and quite frankly, excited for my next appointment! Julie at front desk was so sweet, she made me feel welcomed. It was my first time getting waxed and I got a Brazilian wax. Hilary was my aesthetician and she did a GREAT job. She kept me busy and talking to calm down my nerves and let me take breaks, even then it was super quick and relatively painless afterwards. She recommended me great products for after care too. The manager of this local shop is "not too smart" to say the least. I walked in and she demanded that I wear a mask. I explained that I am vaccinated and do now need to wear one (as per CDC Guidlines and Florida state regulations). She said that it is their corporate policy. I said that I will wear a mask if she furnishes me with one as I do not have a mask. She told me I can BUY a mask from them for $1.... I explained that there is no way I am spending $1 on a mask they are asking me to wear and if this continues they will lose a client.... at that point my "specialist" came out, I pointed at her and said: I am about to tip this lady $20, she can buy me the mask or you, the manager, can buy me the mask and settle with her but I am not going to spend a single cent on a mask you insist on selling me unnecessarily.... She continued to insist at which point I left "you just lost a client for $1".... buh bye. Do not support European Wax Center.... read more

I waited until my second appt. to make sure my review was real. I had Danielle and will continue to have her forever! I do full brazilian and let me tell you zero ackwardness , zero pain. The wax they use is super good quality, the facility is very clean , the decor is the cutest I love there vintage waiting room!! Danielle is the sweetest , we talk from start to end, I really do love her style and approach. You feel very comfortable and they give you great recommendations such as before and after care and timeframes. Needless to say I am very happy with my choice and will be coming back forever! Very bad service. Waxing was not completed properly. I was going on a 2 week vacation the next day and I realized the next day hair was missed since I wasn't shown with a mirror in the waxing room. When I got home I realized the mistake and sent an email through the website on my vacation that the waxing was not done completely. No one responded to my email not acknowledged me. When I returned back from my trip I called the location and the manager said I could receive a touch up at 50 percent off. I have been going to European Wax Centers for 10 years. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service level I received and I do not recommend this location and I will not be returning to this business read more

I am giving one star for the experience I had at checking in at Jupiter EWC, not a wax. My 12 year old daughter wanted to get her eyebrows waxed. This would be her first time and we made an appointment. We show up for the appointment and they start to fill a profile for her. They take her name and address and everything is the same as mine, her mom. The receptionist then tells me she needs mum daughter student id to prove who she is. I tell the receptionist she is in grade 6, she does not walk around with student id. I then ask her, "my daughter cannot have her first free wax unless I can prove she is my daughter?" The receptionist said, well she might come in next time as a Stephanie or a Michelle and keep getting free waxes. So then I was mad that she inferred that I would change this special moment to a scam and take my daughter all over Florida changing her name to get free eyebrow waxing. I cancelled my appointment and walked out. Please note that my 14 year old came to this same place with me for her eyebrows and I needed only to prove my residency for her free wax. Why would I think it would have changed or that there had been so many moms scamming their company with their young daughters. (Which I do not believe) So I made an appointment with the European wax center in West Palm Beach. I walked in with my 12 year old daughter again. This time ready with her school id. The manager started taking our information. At this EWC he did not ask for my daughters id. He asked me for id to show I was a FL resident. I asked him if he needed to see my daughters id and he said no. I was so happy with him. I then relayed the story I just went through and he also thought it was ridiculous. I have always had professional waxers in every location I have been to. This review is strictly on the customer service I was given at the front desk. They have lost me as a client. Companies should know more customers talk about bad experiences then good, and I will be telling this story to many people. read more

Was referred by a friend and this place did not disappoint. I walked in and was promptly greeted and introduced to the salon. For Florida residents you get the first wax free-what a nice surprise. Keisha helped me out and she was so friendly! Really spent a nice amount of time helping my eyebrows out :) and she told me what she was doing the whole time. This place is seriously amazing! I use Isabella and she is so wonderful! They really go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable! The prices are pretty good and they have some great package offerings. They use a special kind of wax that only sticks to the hair and not to the skin so it's a lot less painful. It's been about two years since I've been a client and I refuse to go anywhere else. The customer service and hospitality have always been top notch, especially with Summer and Abigail. Amanda is by far the most amazing waxer I've ever had. I am very upset with how my eyebrows turned out I went there for the first time yesterday because I read the good reviews and decided to try it out. I got waxed with Danielle and when I got home I realized how big of a gap she left between my brows I told her I just wanted them cleaned up since I have naturally thick brows and ended up with a 1/3 of my eyebrows gone. Now I have to fill them in with makeup everyday to try to cover it up. I called to see if I could get a refund or maybe next visit get a complementary brow wax with a different person but they said there was nothing they could do. Very upset will not be going back!
