She is incredibly talented, professional, consistent, and always makes me feel comfortable and welcomed. My nails are always beautiful, and I can truly trust her to make sure I leave loving them every single time. Finding someone you trust with your nails is not always easy, especially after moving to a new city, but I feel so lucky to have found her. Four years later, I wouldn't go anywhere else! I went in for a Builder gel manicure and instead of a regular Builder gel manicure they just painted the gel on. After one week I have three broken nails and I usually never get a broken nail. My nails are wavy and not properly file down. Probably one of the worst manicures I've ever received. I reached out to them and no response. NAILS BROKEN & BENDING LESS THAN 24hrs LATER!! my REAL nails broke the next day!! not even 24hrs later my nails started breaking & i noticed that the product applied was not protecting my natural nails. i asked for hard gel to protect the growth on my natural nails, i paid $65 + a $20 tip i was visiting, so when my nails broke the next day & i tried to call & go in 20 minutes before closing to show them in person & find a resolution before i had to fly back home the next day, they were already closed up with no answer. i got in touch the following day & asked for a refund & was denied, i sent them videos of my nails broken & bending, they recognized me as a customer & remembered i was visiting from NY, they offered to do them again but as i was visiting & already headed to the airport the only resolution was a refund which they told me they would not give. i don't recommend spending any of your money with them as they don't care about your nails or quality of service they provide. read more

I have been going to this salon for 8 months. Beverly, who did my nails did a great job and I never had to come in for a repair. I would go and see her every three weeks and she would do a powder dip. I had someone new do it the other day (since Beverly doesn't work there anymore) and it hasn't even been a week and two of them have chipped and cracked. I called the salon to ask if I could come back and have them all redone because they're too thin, compared to how it's always been done. I had asked the new nail tech to make them thick at the tips like Beverly did, but she did not. I asked the salon if I could come in and have a redo of all 10 nails and I would give the full tip to another nail tech based on the full price .. the manager argued with me the whole time on the phone and said these things happen and that she would only repair the two nails. I know the other ones are not going to hold up for the next two weeks, that's why I suggested that they could redo all 10 and they would not do it. Now I'm never going back because they were so extremely rude to me on the phone and just argued that these things happen. I had paid $60.00 six days ago and they started chipping two days ago. In the last eight months of going there I never had to come in for a repair and they stayed perfectly. read more

I've given this salon four chances. This last one might be enough to search for somewhere else. I don't have a regular manicurist so I always specifically ask them to please give me someone who is very good and I don't mind waiting. This last time her name was Han. I had a gel pedicure, and by the final coat when I checked to see how it looked, the color was wrong, more cream pink than sheer nude. I had dinner plans and there was no time to remove the gel and start all over again, so I moved on to my regular manicure. The worst. Pics don't lie. I had no choice but to leave with a terrible polish job and by the second day, my nails looked horrible. And this was the best person they chose to give me. It's a shame because I like the size and cleanliness of the salon and the location, but after this fourth time of getting an OK mani/pedi, it's time to move on. read more

The most horrible experience I've ever had at a nail salon!! Stay away!! I had gel builder from being in Europe and they didn't fully remove it and put dip on top, I mentioned that to her as she was doing my nail and she dismissed me. I asked her to do 4 coats of dip bc that's what works for me she told me no I'm doing 3. It's uncomfortable being in that situation at a new salon. Two days later one nail cracked and the top of my other nail just fell off. It's bc she left a tip that was put on with my gel builder. To top it off when I went to check out when I got my nails done they charged me for taking off the gel builder.. which they did not take off fully which is why two nails broke. I mentioned it to the owner and the person at the front desk and they said that's the policy. I didn't feel like fighting with him at the front so I just paid. I went back in because my nails broke two days later. They were not able to match the same chrome that were on my nails I was there for an hour and a half. I asked to be partly refunded bc I was charged for service I didn't receive. They refused now I have mismatched nails that I paid $114 for. read more

I normally go somewhere else but I worked today and went durning my lunch hour (I had an appointment here, booked in advance, siting I needed a simple French fill). My visit here was nothing short of a nightmare, and I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy. I stood there with 3 personnel talking and working , but never received an acknowledgement like, "I will be with you in a minute." approximately 5 mins later (which God knows, I should have took this as a sign and walked out), I'm told someone will do my pedicure.."pick a color". Jenny comes over asks me to pick a color, I chose 2 after telling her 3 times I can't quite decide so please bring both with you and I will decide once I see it on me." Speeding this up. 20 minutes later my entire pedicure is over, toe nails not shaped, callous remover not used even when I asked. "You don't need it, Jenny says..."Your feet are soft." Now I haven't had a pedicure in about 8 months so I know she was not telling the truth and I walk around on my tile floors barefoot. So now I've got buyer remorse but trying to make the best out of it and ask can you rub the powder on it that makes it look like chrome. Jenny then admits that she doesn't have time to apply chrome to my ugly, white nail polished, uneven shaped toes. I have another client coming in." So nope there's no "wait time" but they will pull you in and not spend any time on your service and then charge... $55.00 and yes, I tipped Jenny 7.00 bucks. Never, ever ever again. Venetian Nail Spas used to be the best in all of south Florida with amazing work. The past few services have not only been horrible but the staff, especially at this location is very rude. I finally had to write a review after this past pedicure I got for vacation. I received a gel pedicure on June 29th, July 4th, 2 toes of polish came off, less than a week after appointment. July 7th - 1 week post appointment, I am left with 5 painted and now this morning the big toe is coming off too. At every other salon, a gel pedicure lasts me over 4 weeks and I usually just get another pedicure because they've grown out so much, but still fully polished. My sister and I decided to drop in and get pedicures. They were able to accommodate walkins and had a great selection of colors. For a basic pedicure it was only $30 but very thorough. My girl took her time to truly care for my feet and I couldn't have been happier for what I received. And I enjoyed my color. My daughter went to have her acrylic nail tips filled and three reapplied. It was the absolute worst job I have ever seen, not to mention she was cut 4 times. The nails were uneven, bubbly, ridged, polished unevenly, etc. I called and left the manager, Michael, 4 messages to call me and I stopped in in-person to talk to someone and no one ever returned my call. My nails were so short that I went in for next GEN nails just to have decent looking hands. I don't like long nails so I kept telling him to cut them down. He seemed bothered by it but he cut them as short as I thought he could. When I went to pay up front, for nexgen and a pedicure, it was about $75. It prompted me to look at the charges. I was told that the NexGen was 45 because he charged me and EXTRA five dollars for the length. I said, "For the tips?" (Because I have never been charged for the length of my short nails.) He said, "no for the length." I showed him my nails, because they are not long, and the guy was confused so he went to get my technician. My technician came back saying that it's because they are long. The nerve of that guy to say that after I kept telling him to cut them shorter. I was going to leave him a 20% tip, but I ended up leaving him 10%. I feel like I shouldn't have given him anything, but I'll let God handle that. RIP OFF!!!!! I'm sure they feed off of tourist all the time, cause I can't imagine any locals going back to that place. read more

Update- I've gone in a couple of more times because they are so convenient. They will never be the epitome of customer service but they have improved. There is a much more polite woman generally working the front reception now, and they are fast, so there is that. If you want to be pampered or even have a special request, this might not be your first choice. But they can get the job done in a hurry. This is the one place I have ever gotten a nail fungus in 20 years of acrylic nails. But it cleared up quickly and I have no recurring issue with it. #### So disappointing. I had gone here in the past and they were great. Something has changed. The dude at the desk was rude and unapologetically unaccommodating. He was this way with every customer I saw him interact with. The actual people doing the nails all seem nice but when the front desk is rude it makes the whole experience awful. They used to be much better. I have a feeling management changed. I won't be back unless I hear that their front desk person has changed. read more

I used to go here all the time and it WAS good. I just went again to get powder gel done and i did not leave happy- probably just the person that did my nails. I'm not someone that is picky with my nails (or to leave writing a bad review- this is prob my second time writing on yelp), I just like them to be neat. I came in for a very simple one color nail. Towards the end of the process I realized that my nails were looking very thick. I have naturally long and thin nail beds and the person doing my nails made them look so CHUNKY. I asked multiple times to make them thin and asked to file them down more. After a couple of times asking I realized that the odds were not in my favor lol. Ended up leaving without top coat so I can go home and file them down. The salon itself is very nice but unfortunately the quality of my nails this time were not. read more

Good ol' Venetian. High standards. Trained and friendly diverse staff. Clean. Yami was my Tech and was wonderfully adept with offering options. It's always a pleasure when professionals exhibit product knowledge. Destany, [sic] on the other hand, offered the most stereotypical "who cares" and "it's not my job" Millennial attitude to customer service all of our earlier generations collectively groan about. (Didn't even know how to leave a voicemail message!) She should _not_ be at any company's front desk. Venetian has a few pedi massage chairs that need fixing but the restrooms and waiting areas were very clean and organized.
