We were happy with our selections, the quality of the food and presentation. THE VERANDA The wine veranda and restaurant seating occupies the second floor of the building. An indoor second floor dining room spans the length of the building with open air veranda seating at the extremities of the building. Very neat concept for wine tasting. The food was surprisingly fantastic: white pizza with chicken confit artichokes and carbonara sauce, pizza with tomatoes and arugula (gluten free crust available), charcuterie board with three cheeses, three proteins, pickled vegetables, blackberry jam and honeycomb with very good, lamb was tasty with cous cous, and of course a myriad of wines to choose from. No mocktails nor other non-alcoholic drinks other than coke and water. But great service, great space perfect for celebrating or a nice dinner out. read more

The hubster and I are Wine-os and when we ran across Venezia Wine Veranda, we had to put it on our list to visit. To be able to sample the wine using the self-serve machines, you need to purchase a $30 wine card (you can keep the card and refill for other future visits or if you don't use the full amount, use it at your next visit). We personally loved the concept. We stopped to sample the different types of wine prior to our dinner plans. You also have to option to sit at a table and enjoy some tapas/small plates that they offer which I saw a few people enjoying with their parties. The decor was adorable. Everything was spot-less and clean. The workers were also very friendly. The self-serve machines were easy to use and they provide a nice description of the wine to give you an idea. Something that I also found helpful is the small wine icon when selecting the wine was either a red or white wine glass so you knew what time of wine you were selecting. Price ranges - you have the option to select a sample of the wine, half a glass, or a full glass. It's a two-story so you have more options of wines to sample in the second floor! They also have an outdoor balcony/sitting area that you can enjoy. I personally loved it and can't wait to come back to try some of the tapas. read more

Very cute spot - Love the vibe here! I came here with my fiancé to celebrate one year till our wedding date and had a great experience! We did the wine tasting which included 6 different wines and a little cheese and cracker board. This was a fun time! Our waitress was so friendly and was very informative about the wines we were drinking. We also met some great people too! We ordered a few tapas as well- all of which were delicious!! Afterwards, we wanted to try the other wines they have so we bought a wine card to use at the dispensers! Similar to a vending machine, you put the wine card in and push a button to dispense the wine. You have the option to have a taste, half glass or full glass! And they have different prices points depending on the wine you choose. I have never seen a wine bar like this before and love how different it is! The place is beautifully decorated, the service is amazing and there are all types of wine for everyone. You have option to choose a taste, half glass or full glass. Our waitress Stephanie was so attentive and knowledgeable- she gave recommendations and basically anticipated our every need. My tapas (bruschetta and hummus) were delicious but my friend who ordered the slider said it was "okay", she mentioned something was "lacking". I ordered the wild berry sorbet and it was immaculate! This was a great addition to the area! I went here for the first time yesterday and was impressed. Upon arrival, we were instantly greeted and taken to a seat of our preference which was out on their upstairs balcony. Along the way, I admired their beautiful decor and feel. On your first visit, you purchase a $30 wine card and you are able to go around to multiple machines to put out tastes, half glass and full glass of wine. Once you purchase this minimum, you can keep your card and refill with however much you want to refill with. As for the food, it's a tapas or small plates restaurant. So it's good to grab a few small plates to share with the table. But all was tasty especially the Mac and cheese. Lastly, our waiter was great! First time visit. Overall had a good time and the food was good. However, the wine selection was limited, our waitress knew nothing about wine, and the price was a bit steep. We paid about $300 for wine and hors d'oeuvres (party of five). The bill could have easily been higher. The wine was self serve. Am I really supposed to tip 20% ($60) on the $300 bill? I did, because that's what I do, but I don't think I'll be back. Wine tasting parties at home with friends is much nicer and more affordable. read more

This was our first visit to this fairly new neighborhood establishment. For a Friday early evening, seating was fairly easy. We sat at the indoor dining room. JT, our server, was very helpful and patiently answered all our questions and made suggestions. The food is very good. We tried a few of the Weekend Features including the Octopus Tostada, Charred Key West Pink Shrimp, and Warm Lamb Merquez Sausage. Everything was fresh and delicious. In my opinion, the lamb sausage is an acquired taste, but my husband loved it. We'll be back. Trying this variety of wines is like going on an adventure. We like adventures! read more

I love the variety of wines that you can access through the self-serve machines. I like that you get to try a bunch of wines and then get full glasses or buy the bottles of your favorites. However since so much of the restaurant is self serve the service form the wait staff is very slow and hands off. The food is pretty good a little over priced for some of the dishes but it's Viera... however the building seems to have a very bad spider problem. The first time I went there there was spiderweb stuck to the plate of the appetizer I had ordered (manager was amazing and comped it) and then the second time I was there I actually got bit by a spider that came down from the corner of one of the pillars located near the stairwell. It bit my shoulder and my friend had to kill it. This isn't an outdoor spider problem either it's an indoor one. read more

Love the wine tap concept where you can taste a wine before buying a whole glass or bottle, so was excited to see a new venue in Viera. However, I was repelled by the $4.00 price of a 1 oz taste of a a $27.00 retail bottle, which cost them approximately $10.00! That would be a $90.00 profit! This is true of most of the wines offered and definitely of the wines you would want to taste. I've bought many cards at wine taps and have never experienced such overpricing. That said, the staff was very accommodating and personable, while the food was average. read more

Excellent selection of wines with self pour options. We started with the bacon wrapped dates with blue cheese. It was absolutely delicious. Just the right amount of cheese and good bacon. We then ordered a small charcuterie board that came with fermented veggies. The quality of the meat and cheese were excellent. All in all, service was excellent. They are gluten free friendly and can accommodate without any issues. We look forward to returning for dinner next time. read more

We loved the experience! Everyone was so friendly and we got only an appetizer but it was great!

The wine machines are fun. Buy a card for $30 and all your choices are deducted from that. Food comes as a separate Bill. There were four of us and we all enjoyed everything that we ate. We sat upstairs and because there were so many windows I felt like I was on a cruise ship. The waitress was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, she had a great personality. read more

Venezia Wine Veranda knocks it out of the park with authentic European fare and international wines. It is an excellent place for "wining" and dining in Brevard County. The quality of food is comparable to what you would find in a good casual restaurant in Western Europe. The ambiance is Florida casual, and the restaurant-bar has pleasant and comfortable indoor and outdoor areas with two airy upstairs terraces. The service is friendly and all wine is self-serve, which is a very efficient way to try different vintages in whatever amount you are interested in! Was really anticipating this place, and decided to go for a special celebration. Arrived around 845pm and the kitchen was closed. The employee informed me this was "on the front page of the website" which was not true. Reservations are not even available to be made online. Overall, felt very unwelcome and disappointed. As a newer business, I expected a better experience. 2 stars because the place is cute, clean, and the wine was good. Will maybe give this place one more chance but really hope they can fix the hours, reservations, and clarity. read more

After paying $120 for wine cards we had to serve ourselves then found the cost of the wine we were serving ourselves was $29 per bottle as we paid $25 for a 5 oz pour, when the machine did not measure correctly, we had to argue and explain ourselves each time that this happened and it was at least three times. I cannot recommend going to a place when I'm paying that much money for Wine and I have to serve myself, be overcharged and argue about it. The food was expensive and not good at all. The lobster macaroni and cheese came out cold with zero flavor. after this very expensive mistake, we went to a nice restaurant where we were served a nice glass of wine at a reasonable price not being ripped off and had a nice hot meal. I suppose if you feel like paying extreme prices, way overpriced, starving yourself and then having someone argue with you because the bottle was empty and the pour was incorrect. Then this is your place. Otherwise there's plenty of great restaurants with amazing wine that aren't trying to take advantage. The only thing I can say nice about this venue was the ambience, the view of Chick-fil-A and the gas station parking lot. No thank you. read more
