When I walked in and placed an order for 2 French Doors, I had confidence that they knew what they…read morewere doing. I was greatly mistaken. I had all of my measurements, and even was specific that one side of the French door was .5" wider than the other. (34.5" in one side of the unit, 35" on the other.) The opening had 6' 5" h doors. (I was then told these would be special order doors, and the frame size needed to be determined....) When I was asked if I needed any lock sets, I said no, I have a dead bolt and handle for each unit. I was asked if I wanted the holes bored, I said yes. One set for each unit. We even had a discussion about how many, and I showed a pic from my phone. $1100.00+ per door, paid in full at time of ordering. 2 weeks later.... The doors were delivered, and stored in my garage, until we were ready to install them. (About 1 month) As we began the installation, we noticed the huge measurement difference. We needed to add 2X4's on the top and sides. Instead of returning the order, we decided to make due with the smaller doors. I'm not happy about it but, rather than go through the aggravation of reordering, I'll just install them. After we did the rough install, we opened the doors to check for square and level. The pin kit for the side door, dropped to the floor. It would not stay up in the pin kit . So, one door is installed and we went to install the dead bolt and handle. We have 4 holes on each unit, 2 per door, not per unit. WTF, do I do with this? These are exterior doors! When I called about these issues I said I would live with the short and squat doors. Though my son is 6'4" and can't use these doors without taking his head off at his nose. I'll even replace the molding around all 3 of my French door units, to match the 4" flat stock I need to use so the doors don't look like crap. However, I would need someone to come look at the dropping pin kit, because these doors are useless if I can't open and close them properly. ( Someone was sent 4 days after my call. The pin kit was replaced.) The issue of 4 bored holes per French door unit.... I was told to buy dummy handles, and I'd be compensated. (No words, really, I have no words.) I have yet to hear what will be done about this mess... Buyer beware!!!!! I will not be recommending Kimal to anyone.

Waited eagerly for the delivery then received a call saying they'd since found the gutters were the wrong size - too long - and we could have them but only if we paid for the extra length! (which we did not need). So we had to wait til the right size came in. I asked because of their error if they would deliver now without charge - as a courtesy, but they said no. On January 4th they called to say the right size was in and they'd bring them the following day, at 11am or 'for sure' by the day's end, he 'promised.' So I moved plants to receive the gutters, had my workman ready to help move them in, the $45 charge in my pocket and they don't come. We called and they said did you not get our message? (They'd left no message.) Their truck was 'out of commission' and we could not receive the product until the following week. It's hard to see with service like this they are able to stay in business.

Knowledgeable and sharp about products. The lady that called in the morning to let me know the load would be delivered was cordial and great on the phone... Your driver , delivery man had an attitude as soon as soon as l said hello. He gave me grief on not answering my phone-several times. I asked him what the # was, he was correct with the # and l said call me... The phone immediately rang. I received the shell and all was good, l believe this gentleman needs some instruction on customer relations and a common thank you would be a nice addition in completing the job as well... Communication terrible at EVERY level. We were supposed to get self closing hinges with one door and they were not included. Called Sales person, John, and he advised he would pick them up and hand deliver. Well after a week of no communication, we called Punta Gorda and they advised they have them and we said we would pick up. John never did call us back. Also at the same time, they gave us the wrong Bypass Track and the time they said it would be in, they did not have it. My husband called Tyson a week later and he advised the track was in. OK so another trip to Punta Gorda and low and behold the track was the WRONG ONE AGAIN. My husband just asked for money back and they offered nothing for his total inconvenience. Stay far away! This company needs to have a total new staff that will be customer focused.
