She kept asking me if I liked the progress, but honestly she is so creative, I kept telling her to do what she thought looked best. She also makes her own henna. It didn't have the normal strong smell, I didn't get any reactions, and the color turned out very dark - perfectly in time for my wedding events. There were many people at the Mehendi event, but she stayed professional and kept checking in to make sure I was comfortable; adjusting my dupatta and handing me sips of my drink. Due to an unforeseen circumstance with the second henna artist we booked for my mom-in-law and sister-in-law, she took it upon herself to do their henna, too. She ended up staying past the expected time, around 11pm, without complaint, and without rushing the design. She took beautiful photos and videos, and mummy-wrapped my hands and feet. So I've been going to this place for years. There used to be a really lovely teen girl who did…read morebrows on the weekends who was fantastic. I've also gone to the owner who seems to really know what she's doing. If I had rated this place based on those two women I probably would have given it five stars. However I have now gone twice on a Sunday. To the same girl which is honestly my mistake. The first time she threaded my eyebrows so thin there was barely anything left and then tried to cover them up with tint and it looked really awful, I cried when I got home. I spent the entire summer growing them out and went back given one bad moment shouldn't erase years of going there. I explained to her what happened last time so she went the very opposite direction. My eyebrows look like thick straight caterpillars straight across. They actually looked fine after she threaded because I was honestly very nitpicky this time given our last experience. The tint is insane. She could tell I wasn't happy and she told me that I could always just try another place. Noted. I even got really nervous for the kid next to me who came in and he had obviously never done it before and he said I have a picture to show you what I want and she responded why would I need a picture. Now after looking at the reviews I see I'm not the only person who has had an experience like this with this woman. I will definitely have to find another place that's open on Sundays because this girl is literally going to drive them out of business. Do not go on Sundays
