I decided to give Venice nails a try today. I was quickly regretted my decision. The lady that coldly greeted me told me to pick my color then the man on the end would help me. I sat down and tried to build a rapport with him. He was very cold, like the owner, behaving like I was bothering them. I still tried being nice. He was still silent and when I asked him how long he had been doing nails he said 13 years and then said he was tired of it. The real fun started though when he was trying to remove my old gel on my nails with his fingernail!!!! Which hurt but also was unsanitary and unprofessional! I questioned him and it made him mad. I get my nails done all the time and never had anyone do this. Then he said fine put this acetone back on, then he sat in the pedicure chair and vaped!!!!! At this point I was upset and said why don't you use the drill (like most people). He then got up and grabbed my hang and started doing it. I was so upset at this point and he was clearly angry. I just wanted him to finish and get out of there! He didn't say one more word the entire time. I paid and got out of there fast. The owner was sitting two seats over and said nothing! Nice selection of nail colors. We made an appointment in advance but a nail technician had to do both me and my friend's manicures. She did a beautiful job and it gave us more time to chat and watch to Asian food channels playing in the background. read more

I would highly recommend this nail salon. They take their time and are very professional. I was not rushed and everyone was so kind. The girl that waxed my eyebrows even asked me if the wax was too hot and I have never been asked that. My back started to hurt and she offered me a pillow. I enjoyed my day of pampering myself and the prices are very reasonable. read more

Great experience here - came in at 6 pm and the gentleman that did my daughters gel nails was not only friendly, but very thorough and really seemed to care about getting her nails perfect. The store closes at 7 but they gladly stayed open until almost 7:30 working on her nails. Facility is very clean, nicely organized and very reasonably priced. We interacted with three employees and they were all very nice. We will definitely be back. read more

It is actually with a heavy heart that I leave this review. Our first two visits were exceptional, however today's visit was disheartening. Our nail tech, Jenny, arrived nearly half an hour late. She called to say that she would be a little late...but half an hour? She did not apologize for her tardiness. My daughter chose an acrylic set and the results were not even close to the picture that she presented. Mind you, we were not expecting the exact look...just a natural, glossy french tip. The pink used was almost a mauve. Strange. Honestly, we would have gotten over it had the detailing been a bit more precise. I had to take her to another nail salon (who described the work as "sloppy") to make another appointment for a repair...an additional expense. To make matters worse, there was a piece of lint painted into the nail. Jenny looked at it, questioned it, and asked her what it was. "Fur?" (as if to imply that it might have been her fault). I mean, really? Let me not leave out the fact that she was scheduled to get a pedicure and, because Jenny was late, had to get her pedicure while Jenny finished her nails in the pedicure spa chair. Not a very relaxing experience (as she bounced between my daughter and her next scheduled appointment). I know that these are clearly first world problems, but it was my daughter's 18th birthday and I wanted her to feel special. Jenny didn't even offer compensation. I had to ask for it. She said, "I can give you 10%." Completely unprofessional. I read amazing reviews about Jenny, but I guess she picks and chooses in regards to the treatment of her clients. I thought it over before writing a review, but felt it was important for customers to be informed. I was highly disappointed with Venice Nails recently. I went to the salon to get a pedicure and a fill-in. The tech started with my fill-in. Two customers came in who had a 2 o'clock appointment. The nail tech informed me that I would have to get out of the chair once he finished and wait for my pedicure since the other customers had an appointment. I had been in there for over an hour and they're now telling me that I would have to wait for my pedicure. I felt this was very unprofessional. I informed the owner that I was unhappy, and felt that he needed to increase the number of employees in order to serve the customers. I have never been kicked out of a chair after being in a salon for over an hour. The owner does not seem to be concerned about customer satisfaction. read more

Avoid like the plague. I called for an appointment for two was taking my daughter. Pedicure was ok but they gave me a broken seat and the back came off while it was running for the massage. They apologized and said they have a replacement ordered. Why would you even put someone in a broken seat? They had several empty ones available. Onto the nails, I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they said they could it. Wish I had taken a picture went somewhere else to get them redone. Is it too much to ask to find a good nail place in WF. Makes me want to drive 3 hours back to Va where I moved from just get my nails done. read more

If I could, I would give no stars. Highly disappointed, upset and would NOT recommend this establishment. I had requested a "Classic" pedicure and no sooner did I sit down, 15 minutes later the employee was finished. Come to find out there were 3 customers who had come in 10 minutes after me with appointments. Knowing that they had appointments on the books, why didn't they inform me. I would have gladly returned at a later time. Later I learned they did the same to another customer who was getting a nail fill and pedicure. The owner JASON is very rude! He put acrylic nails on my daughter for her graduation and when it was time to remove them , he definitely did not know what he was doing. Her manicure afterwards was also terrible and the nail polish was piled on and gunky. He ruined her natural nails. When we called to let them know he refused to give a refund and even redo the nails. His wife also lied stating she told my daughter that was the process and it would mess up her nails. I will never go back to get any service from them again. read more

It was a Thursday early afternoon and only two techs were in so there was a short wait but my experience was great. They follow Covid guidelines and offer great work. Pedicures can be a funny thing. I loathe investing the time and money to get meh results. Since I haven't found a nail place that exceeds expectations, I bounce around. I went to Venice on the recommendation of a friend whose nails always look fantastic. Hailey gave me a pedicure and I can honestly say, it was the best pedicure I've ever had. I ordered the Classic ($32) and it included a scrub, massage and hot towel. My feet were beat up from the summer and they are now baby soft and every toenail is uniform in shape. A new owner took over about six months ago and changed the name to Venice. The spa is very clean and has a good vibe, the staff is friendly and prices are very reasonable. They also carry all the latest OPI and other brand name polishes. I'm thrilled that I have found a nail place. read more

I had the pleasure of meeting Tiffany. She was gentle while taking off my gel overlay, which was horribly done just three weeks ago from another salon, and she introduced me to SNS. I got my nails done on a Saturday and they chipped by Monday. It's now Friday and I have four chipped nails! I have bubbles on two others and my cuticles look horrible. I've had shellac nails for many years from several salons and never had this experience. Over priced for the quality, I've had standard manicures last longer then this gel. read more
