My 1st choice for any type of millwork needs…read more I needed some special crown molding made for the top of my kitchen cabinets. Not knowing where to turn I called multiple cabinet shops in the area and it seemed like they were all too busy to assist me with a small project. However, one shop did forward my information to 1st Choice whom contacted me right away. I explained what I was up against sent detailed photos of what I was trying to accomplish and Ryan, the fellow that was helping me assured me they could handle it no problem. I took my examples to meet Ryan and figure out the process. Upon arriving, I got a tour of the facility, he explained how they can fabricate custom tooling, or I can pick one of the tools they had in stock to cut the raw wood with. After looking, we found one that I liked and it matched my cabinet style. He was also able to identify what type of wood I had, and from there we were off and running. A short time later, they called and said the crown was done. At this point, I needed somebody to match the finish of my existing cabinets, and once again they came through. They hooked me up with Steffan of Kallenbach Wood Touch-Up and he did a knockout job. That guy is a true artist. So, all in all, Ryan has been an asset for referring quality tradesman. They do fantastic work, are extremely professional, and extremely capable of a wide range of wood projects. I give my full endorsement!

PHENOMENAL! Rock…read morePlacement Company provides OUTSTANDING customer service and does EXCELLENT work! Jake came out to the property to see what I was trying to achieve. He not only listened . . . he actually understood the look I was trying to achieve. He sees the subtle coloration in the rocks (as do I) and has a very artistic eye. And, he guided me throughout this process. When I went to the yard to select rocks, I was greeted by Bud, the dog (in addition to the staff). Bud is super cool and was just another positive aspect of this experience for me. I am particular and had a vision in mind, so it was important that the end result achieved the goal. Hans, who was easy-going and quite personable, did the placement work. He moved the gigantic claw arm with utter precision and had an artist's eye for placement! And, he was so very patient as I asked to tweek the rock placement. When the rocks were set, he even used the claw to level out the soil. Both seasoned installers with years of experience and knocked out the entire project in 1 day. The finished is beautiful and my brother could not be happier with the quality of the finished work. Finally, the devil is in the details. Torry and Joe replaced all the furniture and did an immaculate job of clean up of old carpet, and sawdust from the flooring cuts. Well done!
