It was recommended by the instructor to take a few beginners courses until you're more familiar and comfortable with using the megareformer. Overall it was a good workout, would definitely consider attending another class.

A lovely location and I enjoyed my glimpse of the water just before sweating it out in my Barre class. I've come to enjoy attending classes at VFit and find the smaller classes to be nice. Know that because of the smaller sizes, if you sign up for classes individually like I do, each class is at the premium price because of setting. $3 more than a regular mat class, not awful really.

~ FLOATING SHAVASANA WAS ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL ~…read more I've always wanted to try aerial yoga, and I'm so glad that my first experience was at the Aerial Studio. I booked the Intro to AIReal Yoga class through ClassPass, with Kristen O' Briant as the instructor. You can either bring your own mat or use one provided by the studio. They offer both aerial and AIReal Yoga classes that use hammocks in the practice. Our class took place in the back of the room, where a beautiful array of hammocks was set up. Kristen was an amazing instructor--she took special care of beginners, ensured we were making safe moves, and offered modifications when needed, all while providing encouragement and still challenging us. As an avid yogi, these hammocks really helped deepen my asanas, and I enjoyed this fresh approach. The highlight for me was the floating shavasana. Normally, I struggle to fully relax during the final shavasana in traditional yoga classes, but this experience was magical. Swaying gently and being cocooned in the hammocks - like a butterfly before it transforms or a baby in a womb - made it the most relaxed I've ever been during shavasana. A couple notes for the studio: during the first half of the class, there was also a children's class happening at the same time. It wasn't too disruptive but did occasionally make it hard to focus and be present. Also, dimming the lights during the final shavasana would enhance the atmosphere as well as show off the beautiful twinkle lights strung above the rafters. I highly recommend this experience and am looking forward to my next class! *HOT TIP: This was my first visit to Pacific View Mall, and I had trouble finding the studio. The studio is located inside the mall and between Old Navy and American Eagle.

I found 33 Hot Yoga at the beginning of this year, in January. Let me be clear: I was not a yoga person or a heat person. But I was tired of feeling bleh, from perimenopause and from losing my exercise outlet (circuit classes) and from the daily stress of work, kids, life. I had attempted yoga occasionally in the past, but never consistently and never in a heated room. I was nervous, but decided to give it a try. It's now August, I've completed over 70 classes, and it has truly become a non-negotiable part of my weekly routine. I feel stronger, more balanced, and have noticed a real difference in my body and my mood. Plus, met such wonderful people and feel part of a special community. From that very first class, I was hooked. It was Hot Sculpt with Hope - quite a challenge for a newbie! But her energy and positivity immediately made me feel both welcomed and capable. I still love how that class is challenging but FUN and so rewarding - and Hope is an icon! Studio owner Shannon's Hot HIIT Pilates classes are an absolute must, for anyone and everyone. She creates the best vibes in her down-to-earth way, while still being the sturdy leader that we need. Shannon's spirit lights up the entire studio and is something special. It's evident how much she cares and how much of her heart she's poured into the details. The evening yoga classes have become my sanctuary. I look forward to them all day. Heart & Core Flow (Vinyasa) with Kameryn, and Hip & Glute Flow (Vinyasa) with Danielle are EVERYTHING to me during the work week. Love them both! But it's not non refundable and I live hours away so coming back is not an option anytime soon. She was very rude and kept talking over me. She is the only one that can refund me not my third party app. I have never ever experienced such terrible customer service and I would never ever write a bad review but I have never felt so disrespected ever. Kept calling and saying she was losing money, we would be wasting her time, and was very passive aggressive.

My old back problem played up again this morning. Normally I would trooper through but seeing this…read morewas my vacation I decided to let a professional look at it. Big problem it was Sunday and all the studios were closed. I've drove around and found Just Breath Pilates. Even though they were closed there was somebody inside the studio and I knocked on the window and explained my problem. Around an hour later I was outside again, with a back that felt a whole lot better. Thank god for all the stretching and those special exercises :-) Just Breath Pilates saved the day. The girl who helped me was very friendly and the atmosphere was very open. It was also extremely cool that they helped me, even though they were closed. I thanked them for that one a lot. But the girl brushed those words of with 'happy to be of service'. One thing that was funny is: the studio has machines that looks like set pieces form 50 shades of grey. But they helped ;-) The stretching helped my back, but afterward the girl who helped me said I had let someone help with my back when I got home. Which was good advice.
