I am currently staying in OCMD for the week and would not recommend this place. When I called to book an appointment, two employees had answered the phone screaming. When I had arrived, the employee, Anthony, had shouted for me to come sit in his chair. Then while getting my nails done, he told me I had "ugly nails" and "ugly hands". Then while I was waiting for my friend to be done getting her manicure as well, Anthony was shouting at another employee, I believe her name was Kayla, about booking an appointment for someone. I had an appointment and they took a walk in before me when i was there on time. I didn't get into a chair till 20 minutes after the appointment time. The nails are very chunky and not at all what i asked for. I asked for the shape to be fixed and it wasn't. I paid way over what these are worth. Though the salon is beautiful, the prices are outrageous. There is No Sign stating cash only. They have an ATM with a $1.00 surge charge. Went for a gel Pedi, that is $63. The deluxe Pedi is $65. They charged an additional $20 for the gel polish. Mind you I had nothing on my toe nails when I arrived. To charge $20.00 for gel polish is ridiculous. My total for 2 pedicures was $170. The girl that did my pedicure was very nice and kind. The Asian woman that did my manicure and dip polish was very unfriendly and skipped the steps. The dip base coat and top coat. Either for cost or time or both. She was quite in pleasant and unprofessional. And speared to be in charge of the salon that day. Did not introduce herself or thank you for your patronage. Just spent $90 (not including tip) on the worst dip manicure and regular pedicure ever. I've been getting dip for 7 years and not only did they apply the dip wrong but it was finished in 20 minutes. No one cleaned my cuticles and under my nail beds has dirt in it. My regular pedicure is uneven and you can see streak marks. I'm now out over $100. Never again. read more

I have come here twice now for dip on my nails and both times I received fast and attentive service. The staff is kind and personable, Kayla was amazing!! The interior is very clean and well kept. Shady operation. BEWARE CASH ONLY & no prices listed anywhere! Their own ATM I personally watched them fill (hello robbery?!) with a service fee. No cash app payments. No mention of CASH ONLY when I made my appointment. They were 25min late taking me for my appointment-which I arrived 5 min early for. Did not see them sanitize/clean stations or tools. BEWARE. The absolute worst nail salon in Maryland. My friend got a manicure and all of her acrylics fell off within DAYS. When we called to advise the nail salon and ask if they could kindly redo the set. Sloppy pedicure, poor reception, not clean enough, old bottles of nail polish offered in limited colors, nail technician texting on her phone, and a tiny sign that says "cash or check only for..." The sentence isn't finished, so I assumed for tips. But no, cash only for services. Cash only is a bad sign; either a shady business or too cheap to pay for credit services. Won't be back. I've been to this salon 7 or 8 times but I've had enough and I'm taking my business across the street. The technicians often talk on the phone while doing my nails. I wouldn't mind so much except that they don't do a good job while so distracted. Yesterday my technician only said "What?" They took my day of reservation for my friend and I within 3 hours notice so I really appreciated that accommodation. The people that are there seem very hard working and nice but I won't go back. The mani pedi was very basic-bottom of feet never touched. $50, I thought it was expensive. Manicure was very basic. Polish started coming off on fifth day. There was a newborn that was brought out of the employees work room into the main room where they do full sets, etc. There was a active great 2 year old son of the managers that ran around the salon and then he ran around with scissors and all the patrons screamed stop. The mother than said we have to lock him up. He was in the back room screaming for 15 minutes until they took him out. I understand how difficult child care is- but I was glad to leave. read more
