We came here for a pedicure for two people without an appointment and they fit us right in. There was about 6 technicians there and 8 customers all happy and busy. I am in a wheelchair and they were fantastic about helping me in and out of the pedicure chair. We did the package with the massage, hot towels, and both of us loved our techs. They were polite made sure to ask us if we were ok with cutting, clipping, and anything they did. They saw that we had designs from our old pedicure and they each did new designs on our toes. I love how clean, sanitized and great this place was. We will be back for sure to get more pedicures! read more

I could not pay for a $24 manicure with Venmo when their sign clearly states it is available. Cash only for a regular manicure. There are lots of salons in the area. The lady that is usually in the front, I'm not sure if she is the owner, but she is so strange. She has given me extremely weird interactions every time I've come in. I usually get my pedicure done by Mike, but has given me even a hard time scheduling with him. One time she said that they don't schedule appointments within the hour and refuse to make an appointment today I called in for a manicure and refused to make an appointment because she said it was under the $30 minimum policy they have??? This business is very unprofessional, I had an appointment scheduled and they call me 15 minutes prior to state the nail tech is running behind time for an appointment; an entire 30 minutes behind. I stated that is ridiculous to call someone 15 minutes prior when it takes travel time to get there and for a nail tech to take a person knowing they have an appointment. I stated will never be going there again and she got very nasty with me. On top of that I believe it was the owner. Find Jesus and handle matters in the right manner. I went there last weekend for a quick manicure before a business trip and I had a split nail and the guy didn't fix it. He also used a dirty nail file, and I was reminded why I, even though I live in the community next door, I avoid this place. So now my polish is coming off and I wanted to go get my nails painted again and this time get the split nail glued. The receptionist told me it would be a 10 to 15 minute wait so I went to the Publix next door and ordered a couple hot subs so that they would be ready by the time I was done.then I go back and there's all these other people that had come in after me and she sat every single one of them before she sat me. So after a half hour I got up and said hey, you told me it would be 10 to 15 minutes and it's been a half hour and you sat all these other people who came in after me before me. Terrible service. I normally get Lynn when I make an appointment but today I had to get somebody different. They didn't get to me till 20 minutes after my appointment time and then when I requested a design, which I normally do on a pedicure, I was told they can't do it. I get my nails done once a month there and always have a design but now all of a sudden it can't be done. And then the good were talking about my design and refused. Why in the past they always do a design and now they can't? I wil be taking my business elsewhere. Customer service has gone downhill. read more

I have been coming to Veranda after trying several other nail salons for almost a year. I absolutely will not go anywhere else. They truly have never disappointed. I have asked them to do difficult designs and I do Ombré most of the time and it has never been a problem. I show them a picture and they are spot on every time. They are all very friendly and a happy staff and is a very clean facility . OH YES....and their Jelly Pedicures are nothing short of a piece of heaven!! So so amazingly relaxing. Just wanted to share my take on a pedicure I had -- bottom line, it was great. I'm pretty sure they "manned" it up for me. I've had plenty of pedicures before, just never with food products -- which was #awesome (or, I could be super basic and say #delicious) First, we started with the normal soak and scrubbing and trimming. I did my best to not giggle. It worked, mostly. Now here is where the food and photos align. She broke out the sugar scrub (honestly, this is the only reason I go. I don't know if it's as good for ladies/men with no leg hair, or if the hair adds another "dimension of flavor", but it's always so incredible feeling. Immediately after, SHE GRABBED SLICES OF GRAPEFRUIT! It's like she knew I love citrus. I was half inclined to ask for another piece so I could snack on it , but didn't want it to get weird. All the ladies kept looking over at me getting a pedicure. Also, she didn't mess around with that grapefruit. It pretty much faces a gruesome death and was pulverized before being thrown aside and into its watery grave. Extra points for maximum grapefruit destruction. Next up: spicy mayo I think? Again. One of my favorites. What was weird is it didn't burn like you would think. Must be the mild variant. Next time I may ask for the 5 star hot w/ wasabi. Maybe on secret man menu? After the Mayo was washed, we went for I guess Crisco. Maybe she was telling me my legs were too white ? This would help me get a base layer established during our cold winter. I thank her for that. Then, the vegetable oil. I'm at a loss. I also started to get nervous. I have a Great Dane and two labradoodles. How will I stop them from hanging up on me when I get home and trying to divulge in the well prepared still walking meal? How many thousands of years removed from wild animals are they? Hopefully many. Next began the tenderizing of what I was anticipating is my dogs afternoon snacks. I went with it, cuz why not. I just hammered a few chicken breasts the other night and it did great things. So carry on, my wayward friend. Upon completion of tenderization//drum solo we went to the quick steam. She grabbed some super hot towels and just slapped them on and wrapped me up like a new baby being swaddled. It was great. A glass of scotch at this point would have been great. Scotch, chocolate and grapefruit. Im in. We finished up and then I got super confused. She did all these manned up food additions and once done massaging she handed me a color wheel to pick my nail polish! Suffice it to say, I went with none. In all seriousness though, i know it wasn't food products. I know it was exactly what I selected. Just having some fun. It definitely was a great pedicure and worth every penny. I had my nails done here less than two weeks ago and was told they guaranteed the job for two weeks. They told me if one chipped to come in and they will repair it. I went in today because the corner of my thump nail chipped and was missing nail polish (Healthy Nails). After waiting almost 45 minutes the man who did it was absolutely rude and first thing he did was destroy my regular nail without even apologizing, he then tried to file my nail down to make it even but as you can see there is no way of fixing it but cut my whole nail off and have a short nail and the rest long. I told him I did not like it and then he offered to place a tip (in a very rude way) I declined completely and left the establishment. Absolutely horrible place read more

I went in for a nail repair and I felt so judged. (As a nail tech as well) I obviously did not mind paying $7 but it seems like they didn't really want to do it as they were looking at each other and shaking there heads and laughing. (Mind you they weren't busy at this time) When I get in nail tech chair i let him know my mail is thin and it has to be soaked off, he proceeds to peel it off knowing I was in pain then soaks it after the damage is already done. He did a job job with the repair but the atmosphere and the feeling of being judge made me uncomfortable. I was looking to switch salon as this is down the street from me but I guess I'll stick to where I go. read more

Can I please give this place 10 stars. Ana and Gina are absolutely awesome. I came in for the first time today. And I have to say they gained a loyal customer. Gina gave me the best leg/foot massage. Ever. Hands down. And the rub down with the hot towel was a fantastic touch and finale to a great pedicure. She use absolute care throughout my pedicure. Ana did my gel manicure. She was equally fantastic. I have a horrible habit of picking my thumb cuticle and she use such care while navigating my thumb disaster zone. She is super friendly and detail oriented. I had plans to go else where and get my eyebrows done and she mentioned that they do them there. I haven't had my eyebrows wax since high school. So I was a bit weary about waxing since I switched to threading. Again, she did a fantastic job. The wax was the perfect temperature. And she was meticulous. I will definitely be back. My 94 year old grandmother came and got her nails done with a plain polish and got a pedicure. They charged her $100, not including the tip. My step mother than called the salon the next day to ask how much that service would cost and they told her a lesser price. The owner was very rude! Her husband did my healthy nails originally and 2 days later they started to break. I took time from my time to get them fixed by his wife but she was rude and was very aggressive when handling my nails. I allowed her to finish and left. 3 more days the rest of the nails were mostly all cracked so I came back. I was nice enough to allow them to give them my business to do a pedicure. After that the wife came and again was rude and was pinching me all the way to the end. By the time I was done I had a scratch (see picture) from how hard she pinched me. I then allowed her to finish and asked for a much deserved discount only to find out that they were not going to honor it. I paid and left with a big scratch and a big bill! I was out of town at the time, called the salon and they said no problem, come in when you return. I came in, identified the color, and they removed it from their selections. Went to get a pedicure and full set put on. It was the most unique experience in that the man doing my nails couldn't be less interested or pay less attention to what he was doing. He only buffed one heel, forgot about the other probably because every two mins he got up to go do anything else in the salon the whole two hours I was there. After he put on the tips he asked how long I'd like them but before I could answer he cuts the nail way too short. I then tell him I would like them longer so he soaks off the tip then glues the new fake nail on to my finger, it wasn't even glued onto my nail! When I pointed it out, he replies, don't worry about it. (Um hi that nail looks wonky now) At times he wasn't even looking when he put on the top clear coat and it looks horrendous. By far, It is the sloppiest set I have ever had anyone put on and it shows. Why did I still tip 20%.... ugh. So if you still want to go I would suggest calling to make an appointment beforehand since they are short staffed. A few people walked in that they couldn't take.. I think everyone working there looked like they actually gave a sh*t except this person so good luck! read more

Poor example of a pedicure! Got the Classic - $25. Took 20 minutes from beginning to end. . I've been here many times so this was extremely disappointing. Ruined my nails!!! My overlays lifted in 2 days!!! My nails were destroyed from over filing!!! I lost more than half my length never mind the crooked and odd shape!!! Yes I wanted a slight taper to resemble a shorter coffin shape, but at least make both sides even!!! I had to take all my nails down and now I'm just waiting to get them back.
