Dr. Timpanaro referred me to Prescott Endodontics for a root canal A tooth that's been causing me a great deal of pain, we discovered this morning has a deep and very severe crack, along with a compromised root. They did a great job on the root canal but said this tooth needs a crown ASAP. At 11:00am, last minute I called Dr. Timpanaro in Camp Verde at Verde Smiles asking for his next available appointment, as the remaining tooth is compromised and needs to be covered and supported. What do you look for in a dentist? 1. I look for someone who puts people over profit. We've all heard horror stories where a dentist recommends unnecessary work to enhance their bottom line while emptying your pockets. Dr. Bingham doesn't do that: He's sensitive to the financial needs of his patients and only recommends essential dental treatment. 2. I don't want a dentist that is heavy handed and causes pain when maneuvering in my delicate mouth or making me flinch when administering a shot. Dr. Bingham doesn't do that: He has a light touch and a comforting bedside manner. I can't even remember him ever causing me pain even during a difficult procedure. There was one time I needed a tooth pulled and he got it out in less than a minute without me even realizing the tooth had been pulled. 3. I look for a dentist who doesn't shame me for the condition of my dental health. I avoided going to the dentist for many years to my current detriment because in my past previous dentists would make me feel bad for not taking better care of my teeth. I already felt negligent and their attitude just added insult to injury. Dr. Bingham doesn't do that: When Dr. Bingham tells me what needs to be repaired with my teeth he does it with compassion. He's a straight shooter yet I've never felt blame, judgement or shame coming from him which keeps me coming back. 4. Most of all, I look for a dentist I can trust because let's face it, sitting in a dental chair with my mouth pried wide is a vulnerable experience often eliciting fear! I need a dentist who I can trust has the expertise, knowledge and stellar skills that Dr. Bingham demonstrates so when all is said and done, I can get up from that chair feeling better not worse. The absolute best dentist ever Dr.Bingham and staff. I had two crowns replaced and a front tooth that was chipped fixed and you could not tell it was done. For 40 years I've been told that was not fixable. This office is total 2025. No mickey mouse x-ray machines. I am not generally the person to ask when looking for a dentist. I took a friend into Verde Smiles on West Finnie Flat Rd in Camp Verde and immediately felt at peace. I ended up making an appointment for myself, and it had been 10 years since my last appointment. After my 4 hour (yes four hour appt) I left feeling fantastic and confident. Dr. Shariff and his assistant Kristy are amazing. I love them and went back again for another appt to finish work I should have done years ago. The care and compassion from their entire team was amazing. I suggest all 'dentistphobs' try this group if they want to keep or fix their smiles. read more

Dr. Sharifi is amazing, he takes great care of his patients and cares about their comfort while working on them. He's done some fillings for me and I'm going back to get my wisdom teeth removed. He's the most gentle dentist I've ever experienced, and his staff is outstanding! Eric is a great dental tech and makes you feel comfortable through the whole process, and every time I've got in him and I are always talking like friends.
