I've been coming here for many years. The dentist here is absolutely the best dentist I've ever had. He's gentle when he does his work. You can ask him questions and he answers them. He's honest and doesn't do work you don't need. I was there getting my teeth cleaned and the girl did a great job. She did notice something wrong with one of my tooth and showed the dentist. He took an X-ray and explained to me what I should do and offered to do it that day. So I waited and he fixed that tooth. This way I didn't damage it more. The employees here are friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this dental office. read more

We were new to the area and looking for a new dentist. Highland dental is the only office (of 4) to answer the phone in with a real live person. She was very friendly and professional and scheduled us for cleanings at that time. The office is clean and the staff is very friendly professional I really enjoyed my cleaning with Lacey and meeting Dr. Barrett. I called at 7:30 am because of an infected tooth and was in the office by 11:00 am. Dr Barrett has the most friendly and caring office personnel. This place claims to be there for your urgent needs. Wow, NO, that is if Dr. Devlin feels like it. They had nothing but excuses during my appointment time scheduled last week, excuses that made no sense. I am a nurse and have NEVER seen anything like it in any other healthcare facility. After explaining to my insurance company how badly I was treated today, they emergently changed my dentist. My new dentist was able to see me right away with nooooo excuses. Highland dental SUCKS! When my back tooth felt like it had a new rough spot, I was worried I'd had part of a filling chip off or that I'd ground off a part of my tooth since I was in my third trimester of pregnancy and my last pregnancy was hard on my oral health too. (Morning sickness, sleeping with my mouth open more, stress-induced grinding...) Dr. Barrett said he'd be happy to take a quick look and let me know if it was serious or superficial. I loved that he was able to squeeze me in and that he was really straight forward and didn't pressure me to get it fixed immediately. I had such an awesome experience at the business. I had two uncles that were dentists and my mom was a dental assistant for over 40 years, so I am kinda picky. They exceeded all my expectations. I went in for a crown replacement. To create the new crown, they used a state-of-the-art 3D scanner that created a high resolution 3D image of my teeth & gums! This ensures a better fit than with the old "impression" process. I look forward to my new crown. read more

I am updating this review because the office staff keeps harassing me to change it, even though everything I said was true. To reiterate: 1. This office keeps patients waiting for HOURS, even with appointments. They overbook, so they can make more $$$. 2. This doctor does not send out any work, even when it is out of his league (like complicated root canals and crowns) so he can make more $$$. 3. His greediness has caused people harm and pain. This is the worst dentist's office in town. So my rating stands, but to rebut the attack on my credibility, I am saying the following: Dr. Bradshaw worked in your office before, no? And the reason you have no record of my being a patient is because I LEFT DURING MY FIRST VISIT WHEN YOU INSISTED ON ME PAYING WHILE I WAS STILL IN THE CHAIR. The dentist waited off to the side while you badgered me about my insurance coverage. For that appointment, I was kept waiting for HOURS (plural). My friends who have gone to Dr. Cutler have also been kept waiting for more than an hour EVERY TIME. The work I mentioned with the crown was done on my mom, as I told you before when you messaged me, asking me to take down my comments. My old dentist put in some sealants when I was 12 years old. Dr Barrett noticed some of my fillings weren't well done and so scraped off the sealant to discover several decay spots that weren't showing up on x-ray. Very thankful for his Intuition. read more

I had an appointment for X-rays and cleaning. I was told I had 2 cavities (one under a crown) and might need my front tooth replaced. I went to my dentist in CA and there was NOTHING that needed tending to. The cleaning was substandard also. I strongly urge anyone that considers this practice to look elsewhere. read more

I went to see Doctor Barrett for a checkup because the last one I had was a year ago. He told me that I needed to have five of my crowns replaced. Seemed like a lot but some of the crowns were older and so am I. So I trusted him and let him work on two of them. He put both of them in crooked and then ground one down so that it kinda fit. The other he ground down so much that he had to do it over again. Two months later and three trips to the office he puts the second one in crooked also. So I decide to see a competent dentist to check my other three crowns that were supposedly bad. Had x-rays and complete exams from two other dentists and they found nothing wrong with my teeth. Was there anything wrong with the two Barrett fixed ? I don't think so but there is no way to know. Bottom line is Barrett incompetent or a crook. Either way do you want him drilling holes in your teeth. read more

I was nervous during covid, but I was really impressed with the cleanliness and care of dentist & staff to make sure everything was sanitized. This is an update to my original review I posted 4 months ago. My dental procedure went great. With the sedation dentistry I didn't feel a thing. I am very pleased with the results. I've had to go back a few times for adjustments and the staff always fits me in the same day. The wait is a bit long however it's understandable since they also have previously schelduled appointments to attend to. The staff has always been so friendly and they return my calls promptly. Dr. Cutler takes time to answer all of my questions and address all of my concerns. I would recommend Highland Dental to anyone looking to find a great local dentist. When other dentists told me it would be a 3 week wait to get in they got me in the same day and have provided me with excellent service. read more

I find the Staff and Dr T, to be very interested in helping patients to understand procedures and they allow plenty of time for questions. They are gentle and do their VERY best, to not cause pain or discomfort. At this point, I would say Highland Dental is a good and caring Practice. Kinda like buying the new car . Got lovely new top denture all perfect. Then needed new "o-rings " on lower denture . Wonderful when buying not so good on the repair. This includes waiting from march until now "late may" for parts and appointment . Called to find out why I hadn't heard from them to finish the paid for work. Talked to nice lady who was going to look into it . No call back once again . Kinda hard to recommend them for repairs . read more

I went to Highland Dental due to a flyer in the mail. The office is relaxing and clean. I only waited a few minutes before the hygienist, Lacy, took me back to the room for x-rays and a cleaning . She was very pleasant and explained everything that she was doing. Dr. Barrett came in for the exam and was also very pleasant. They had an ad for a $1000. implant, True price, when Cutler,DDS had to do it was $4000. When questioned about the 400% increase I got gobblydegookk. Not a very professional place. Had a cleaning, examined by dentist. 1 week later a tooth that I could see was bad on the x-ray fell out. Dentist never said a word, wonder if the x-ray was looked at. Uses his staff to tell prices and some explanations. Does not instill any confidence. read more

I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. The office staff and the hygienists are very friendly, but the dentist sucks. I had multiple problems with my teeth and was very overwhelmed on how to pay for all of it. The dentist was very unsympathetic. He spoke in the tone of well you did this to yourself. He also suggested I get a root canal on a tooth that another dentist said was a nonfunctional tooth. This tooth had no Aide in helping me chew and there was no reason to spend an outrageous amount of money on it. I will never come back here. read more

My family goes to Highland and other than a minor mishap with my wife, they have been wonderful with us and our 3 kids. Service is always friendly, and fairly quick. It's amazing how quick and painless a filling is the way they do it! Just a tad longer than a race car pit stop. Even though the dentist is obviously busy, he gives you his full attention and answers all questions, doesn't appear rushed. They were wonderful with our extremely hesitant youngest daughter and let her play music and were patient with her. Very nice and efficient office overall. read more
