I am waiting for a call back as I write. I doubt I'll ever get. Hellish initial switch logistics (phones were lost in the mail) & cumbersome setup on same (not better) with no opportunity to select phone options, phones leaves us as totally dissatisfied customers. Also we never received the reward gift cards we were promised. Ha! That was a HUGE LIE. Was Verizon more expensive? Yes. Was the service measurably better? Absolutely. He went to someone else when he first went in the store and the employee looked at my husband phone and said he needed a new one :(! It's only 1 year old! My husband then asked for Noel who helped us with a TV remote issue earlier in the year, Noel look at the phone and said oh yes you need to do this...fix it and showed hubby how to do this. We can't say enough! Thank you Noel! This was the 3rd time he has taken time with us!

    I don't leave many negative reviews, so I would like to hope that it carries some weight when I do…read more This is a combination of the terrible service at this particular store and the dysfunction of AT&T at the corporate level. None of it is good. As others have experienced, I also had a trade in offer that was not honored. Despite having an offer in writing from my existing plan, no numbers were confirmed until after I had purchased my new phone, killed my old one, and turned it in. The store associate's reaction was basically a shrug. Calling customer service sent me down a myriad of phone trees, robo-assistants, and hang ups, with the consensus from any human I reached being that there was nothing they could do. They also could not confirm to me whether the trade in offer that they gave me was the result of when I purchased my new phone, picked up my new phone, or turned in my old one. Adding insult to injury, the sales associate in the store tried to sell me a screen protector and a phone case without me saying that I wanted either. The only reason that I realized it is because he said he couldn't charge my account. "For what? I already paid for my phone." He said for the screen protector and the case. Dumbfounded, I told him that I had not confirmed I wouldn't either. At that point, I was finally able to leave the store. Nobody cares here. Not at the store, not at corporate. You can be sure that written figures will be vague and opaque until you're past the point of no return, and left with a worse deal than you thought you were getting. Thankfully you have choices in your cell phone provider. Be smarter the I was and choose something other than AT&T.
